  1. I am interested for the Rome (which is close to me), i whould like to meet Dr. Hasson so he can have a close look at my situation. thanks (you know the email Joe)
  2. I am sorry to dissapoint you my friend, but if you are waiting for Jotronic to reply on your comment, you will be waiting for a looong time. becouse when Jotronic expects answers, he sais However when existing or future patients / consumers are waiting for answers by him, he likes to play hide and seek. (depending on the question that needs to be answered of course) And since still i am waiting for jotronic to answer here i will have to use Jotronic's own words by saying Still waiting for an answer regarding the "trully happy feeling" of yours regarding Phils mac Scalpen's case ... (Sorry for the copyright violation btw) Who knows ?? Maybe the worlds top Dermatologists are still debating whether Phil had also some brutall killer dermatitis on his head that affected his outcome. Maybe thats the reason as to why we havent heard any news by him yet... Ps. my secretary is on vacation this week, therefore i am unable to accept any international phonecalls. Plz try again next week. thank you
  3. wb280 i dont know if you are getting the picture here. this forum is not just a discussion forum were people talk about movies, hot chicks, video games or whatever, Its a forum / marketplace, people are reading topics here and they are making serious decisions about surgeries with permanent "for life" results that cost a fortune When patients / consumers are making a thread about their results, its like making a review for the "product" / service they have purchased / invested , in order for others to comment / review When hair clinic reps are making threads of results, its like advertising / promoting their products / services in order for potential patients / consumers to sign up if interested. Watching pics or posts to dissapear suddenly, or askings questions regarding poor results that are never being answered by hair clinic reps, in a period of an unusual high number of patient complains regarding a specific service is highly suspicious dont you think ?
  4. any news about the missing photos or to why they were taken down so fast ? ....
  5. where are the 1 year photos ? taken down for some reason ?
  6. Well i do make all of my statements based on personal experience and not imagination
  7. i dont think that ur transplant is bad. There is something important to note here cause many people dont seem to realize. If u have a minor hairloss and behind the hair transplant u have natural hair that continue to have NATURAL density and arent thinned by mpb, u get an effect of the transplanted hair looking thin. This doesnt mean that the hair transplant is bad, but its contrast that transplanted hairs makes with the very natural thick hair just behind. Cause a hair transplant can not match the density of a non thinned out area. and this is most visible in cases where the person has dark hair.
  8. My opinion is this. That the Hair Transplant Industry whould be much worse without the forums. This doesnt mean that everything u read in the forums can lead into a happy outcome. I dont deny that armani, had bad results, and i dont deny that the other clinic had good results. However i can not confirm that i had bad results from armani, i can not confirm that he threatened me to keep my mouth shut and not to post them, and i can not confirm that my experience was a negative one. I also can not confirm that by not choosing armani (or anyone else) i got a happy end, just becouse others used to have. My point is not to compare clinics. In fact i find people who compare clinics with fanatism being stupid (several forum cheerleaders are very amusing btw). Hair transplant doctors are not pop stars or idols to have fans, nor clinics are contesting on a league like football teams. Patients only care for results. Unfortunately clinics seem to be caring a lot for the "championship" and the recognition. A hair transplant is a transaction, an exchange, an investment, If the product is good then its ok, if the product sucks then its not ok. So maybe the clinics should realize that we the patients we dont care about this rediculous world wide marathon of global dominance that docs seem to care so much about. When they realize this, we might start seeing less screw ups, becouse the biggest failures occur when people are over self confident for themselves. (which by the way is a common in doctors not only in the hair transplant field but generally)
  9. the pictures are of a bad quality. I really do not understand how it s possible for people to make such bad pictures. Is it some sort of a science to produce accurate pics in natural light?
  10. Can the clinic rep tell us his opinion, what does he think that the percentage of growth in this particular transplant of 4700 in this (small) area is ?? , and also to remind us how many FU/cm2 were transplanted in this case ? Or even better to provide us with info, how many total cm2 was this recipient area, in order to make the math and have an idea of the density which this number of grafts aimed at ? Becouse i really want to know what makes the clinic rep so trully happy, cause it seems from the patients words, that he doesnt seem to be sharing this trully happiness, and maybe others who arent clinic reps may also have the same opinion with the patient. Standing by ... (cause after i have another question regarding the tons of better look)
  11. My point in this thread is not blame my doc and/or his team. My results are another story that require another thread But i do blame myself from taking the decision not to choose armani again and which was based on posts like the ones in this topic, Becouse I should have never let myself take such an important decision based on internet forums since i ALREADY had 2 experiences with armani's clinic. And personal experience is a much more valid rule to judge a situation and in such a case while my surgeries with Armani were good (although no perfect) i should have based my decision exclusively on this, however repeatadly threads like this one, changed my mind, becouuse several posters have done a great job "convincing" that going to armani is one of the worst decision i could have made. So since i have personal experience with armani, and since i also have personal experience about NOT choosing Armani based on internet posts, even from people that never went to him before, i feel its my duty to warn people to be very cautious when making such desisions, and not take such posts as facts, becouse at least in my case things were completely the opposite as they are described in this thread. I am in the hair loss forums since 2004. Almost 7 years. So i have seen much more cases than many others here, and u are right regarding the track record of the other clinic. However this track record used to be consistent and solid until 2009. Becouse its not accidental that the last 18 months or so, people have been complaining (some more other less) regarding the results. We have some recent 8-9 posters with below average results the last year, and since i have 2 other friends who are also not happy but havent express their unhappiness online (yet), probably there might be more. And from 2004-2009 i remember only 2 people with complains (and not serious complains) So its kind unussual to have 9 people complaining the last 18 months while in the last 7 years i remember only 2 dont you think ?? Is it that their major competitors like Armani and Feller took the FUE path and they felt more secure, and comfortable as their waiting list and demand got bigger ? Is it that new surgical assistants may have joined the team, who happened to be less trained or skilled and consistency went down ? Is it becouse docs over self confidence about his skills has made him less carefull and / or responsible ? I dont know. and i DONT CARE. i do care though for the quality of service that i received which unfortunately had nothing to do, with the track record we used to see all these years. To get back on the topick the Bottom line is this. I find the accussations about Armani and this whole thread misleading becouse after having 2 surgeries there my experience was different. Especially when several posts have been made by cheerleaders who never had any experience with him. I do understand i feel though, for all armani REAL patients who posted in this thread and are unhappy with their armani experience. I am sorry. but this is the reality in the hair transplant industry. No guarantees, only promises. and its happening everywhere. So i felt appriopriate to present my side of the story which is based on real experience. Be carefull with Interent Forums and what u read and who u read it from. I made a mistake, I have choosen my last doc (who indeed had a great track record at that time) not based on my previous experiences (which were positive) but i gave weight into forum posts and this thread particularly, and some of these posts produced from people with no real experience from the Armani clinic. Good luck.
  12. I understand that u are willing to share your bad experience with Armani, i am sorry about that. However i had surgeries with Armani in the past and they DID change my appearance for the better. And one of the main reasons that i didnt choose Armani for my latest transplant was the "accusations" in this thread. And even though i whould have got a totally free minimaly invasive FUE , i didnt like all these "unproven" theories about Armani threating patients with poor results, destoying peoples donor areas, and producing constantly low yield. So after reading all of these posters here , including several forum cheerleaders and Armani's Imagemakers, i decided to visit another Doc, member of the "Coallition of Ultra Refined Fullicular Unit transplation" (or whatever it is called) to pay 20.000 for the surgery to get a second scar, and all these in order to prevent my self from being threatened, for my donor area to be destroyed, and to get an acceptable yield and cosmetic improvement which was discussed and confirmed by me and the doc in the private consultation AND after the graft placement was completed. And as far for the results ? What can i say ? They do not differ from anything being mentioned in this SAME thread, which changed my mind (mostly) and didnt go back to Armani again. So in my case, the only mistake i did is taking this thead seriously becouse it never gave me any benefit but it simply inspired me into getting screwed up, cosmetically, physiologically, financially, and as far as the repair that i need in an ATTEMPT to improve my appearance at a lever that a realistic success whould indicate looking worse than before having the 3rd surgery is Completely out of the question, I ve had enough suffering all these years from this industry (also deceived in the past into wearing a rug at the age of 25) Thanks but no thanks
  13. Its a standard thing in this "Industry" for Docs to blame the doc who has done any previous work, even when the previous work was good or acceptable or natural. So after u get the surgery from those docs that were bashing your previous doc, only then u should judge who did better or worse, becouse only post op results count, and not pre op recomendations / promises / evaluations, which at the end might be proven to be a science fiction or a parody or even worse a thriller .. And Hair Transplantation field, is not a Contest of which doc is gonna win the prize, but a surgical procedure that aims for lifetime satisfaction for the patient, and this is what only matters. So my advice is, dont believe what you are told, just evaluate the results AFTER you have done any surgery, Good luck. PS. Happy new year everybody !
  14. totally free including air ticket ? plz provide info (and pics)
  15. when i tried this stuff my hair became worse so i switched back to minox..
  16. first time i see such a thing. so u took a strip out from his forehead and reduced the width between the hairline and the nose for example like a scalp reduction ? what about visible scarring there ?
  17. the forum admin can make it such anytime the word graph is written to be replaced by graft automaticly
  18. i whouldnt be happy with that either. but wait and see, However at 6.5 months u should be looking much better than before even if 30% growth for was taking place, Sorry to say my honest opinion and not telling u what u whould like to hear, but based on these pics the "after" looks thinner (or worse to be honest) than the before.. Considering u had 4700 grafts a noticable improvement should have occured. Best luck for you and i hope your goals are achieved at 6 months from now.
  19. IMO for the ammount of grafts that were used this case, the results are below average, Sure there is improvenent, but when someone goes to Hasson and pays for 4000 grafts for example, a reasonable expectation whould be 90% yield at least. while a free touch up will most likely accomplish your goals it is still a surgery that u have to do, wait for the results etc. There seems to be some inconsistency to a "more than a few" cases from Dr. Hasson which is being observed in the last 12-15 months or so. You do have an improvement, but it definitely doesnt represent 90% + yield (based on the before and after pics u posted) and considering the huge ammount of grafts and your pre op condition this is definitely not a succesfull (IMO) investment for you . This surgery should have achieved the goals it was made for and not to require additional session. I whould mind having this scar btw .......
