Dr Marcovici, I actually took the time to read through this entire thread. I must admit, I was rather taken back by all of the scientific lingo but you seemed sincere in your efforts once I got through the things I did not understand. It was not until I looked at the 20/20 commentary that I realized, you are a snake oil salesman. You lost all credibility with me after seeing that joke of an interview. You were caught with your pants down, just admit it. Why would you go to school for so long to become a doctor only to trash your credibility to sell snake oil? Greed perhaps? Praying off men and women who truely are affected by baldness is not cool. Then again, how could you truely understand, you have great hair. I have a BA and I could not imagine throwing away what I have worked so hard for let alone doing it after receiving my MD. I would never buy or reccomend anyone to buy your product just based on that interview regardless of what you say. Good luck.

Eman, Looking real good. I can not wait to see your 4,5 and 6 month updates. Very encouraging. I am ready to get mine done with Dr Rahal now but unfortuaately I have to wait one month (scheduled for feb. 2nd). Adrian probably thinks I am a kook considering how many times I have already called him with questions.

Where do I sign up......NOT!! The sad part is that he may actually get takers on this. What is very disappointing (and we have at one time been there), is that this seems to prey on the vulnerability of those who would like a transplant but do not have the funds. I have read the controversy over Dr. Armani and from an insider looking in, I am not impressed. I generally do not and will not get involved in controversy but I feel I just had to say that this proposal is a joke.

I know this issue has come up a few times in these threads but I wanted to post my personal experience with creatine. I own a sports nutrition store called Peak Nutrition, it is similar to a GNC. I have tested many supplements over the years and I am very dedicated to fitness and lifting. Two of the main product lines that I have had problems with have been testerone boosters (not steroids, I have never and will never take them) and creatine. Anything that has claimed to boost testerone i.e. IDS Mass Tabs, Ripped tabs etc have caused me to shed dramatically. Of course one I noticed this I immediately discontinued use. Although my bench press went from 305 to 355 in 60 days, the hairloss overshadowed the strength increase. I was shedding very quickly. I would stay away from these products if you are concerned about hair loss. Creatine has also been a problem for me. I monitor my hair "situation" very closely and recently I have had some shedding due to what I believe was due to my use of creatine. I was using a product made by muscletech called Cell Mass and I definately began to shed. I would run my fingers through my hair and could definately see hair coming out. I discontinued using the product about 2 weeks ago and my hair has re-stabalized. I am not shedding at all. I know that there is no scientific data supporting creatine and hair loss but I just wanted to share my personal experince with hair loss and these products.

Reptile, I too have booked my HT with Dr Rahal for February 2nd. I will also be receiving approximately 4000 grafts. Good luck and I will be posting my results post HT. I am extremely impressed with Dr. Rahal's results and I am very excited to get it done. We should be looking pretty good come August and September. Take care, Clint

Hey guys. I am considering trying proscar. Does anyone know where I can get it on line or elsewhere? I want to be sure that I am getting the authentic stuff. What should I pay? Can I cut the pills in 1/4ths and still get the same result as propecia?

Based on my research, I went ahead and scheduled my HT for March with Dr. Rahal. I am looking forward to it but I want to get it done today. The anticipation is killing me!! Thanks for all of the info. I feel confident that I have chosen the right Dr. It looks as though I will be geting approximately 4000 grafts.
