  1. Dont want to put the dampers on you, but! after a H/T you wont see anyreal improvemnt until 4-6 months . At 7-8 months I started to use just a touch of NAnogen to give it that thick look , worked for me . Since then I have had a second H/T and have decided to let it grow out although it looks silly patchy , red but im sure the wait will be worth it.
  2. After my 1st H/T the shedding process started 2 weeks post -op for about a week. This time round 2nd H/T Ive noticed the hair is still falling even at nearly 4 weeks. just need the shedding to stop so I can move on to the next stage.
  3. Can somebody tell how long is it before transplanted hair sheds?? I m now nearly 3 and half weeks post -op. Should the hairs planted have shed by now , because every time im havinga shower their are signs of fallen hair. Cheers

  5. Fab results , what a transformation. Real good stuff the hairline looks incredible. "Go on there boy, with ya slick back hair". Looks good
  6. Its possible as I experienced a small spurt at 1/half months post op, this then slowed down and returned at 4 months and then ever since. I ve had a send H/T so ill be keeeping a close eye on it
  7. Your hairline and coverage look fantastic! Why haven't you grown your hair out a little bit more? I would try that and see how it looks. I tried to grow it out but it looked silly, a little patchy, after all I was a 6 on the NWS, a pretty large bald area. Thats even after 3250 grafts. Thats why I kept it short and nobody was any wiser, especially the chicks in university they love it. Now ive had my 2nd H/T im back to wearing a beanie hat again. Soon it'll be the summer holidays and when I return end of August things will hopefully look better. Saying that this time round I will be growing it out. I think its only fair for everyone to see the final results including myself.
  8. Sorry Miked, youre right, I am about to upload my 2nd H/T pics soon as I receive them from the Dr. I will also keep upoading every month.
  9. I haave just had my 2nd H/T 14 days ago. I was contemplating a 3rd H/T . Im not sure if I should go for FUE or Strip . Any suggestions welcome. Cheers

  12. What are the chances 2nd HT grafts could be placed into existing follicles. Has this ever happened .???????

  14. This is my 4th day pain has subsided a lot , the back feels very itchy. In the meantime im walking around with a bandanner over my head. as far as the pics are concerned ill keep you aall informed.
  15. Unfortunately that is the part that sucks. The good thing its over in a couple of days.
  16. Day 3 guys got 7 hrs sleep last night, was able to gently lay my head on the pillow. The horrid pain has subsided just feeling very tenderish with the odd bolt lightning type of pain comming and going. I have reduced the intake of medication, just taking anti-biotics. Im of the painkillers and the sleeping tablets and increased my liquid consumption intake. These H/Ts do drain the system , a lot of NRG is consumed. Still have the odd nausic feeling and tummy churn. I must admit I was on the verge of changing my mind on the last minute , if I hadnt read Bills and other member comments encouraging me to persevere, I probably would have given it a miss??????? It wasnt easy I was full of anxiety stress and even hypervetiltating before the op with a nasty build of excessive acid in my stomach, increased heart rate BP you name it, it was the classic fight or flight syndrome effect taking over. Dr H had to calm me down telling me to take my time, when ever im ready just give him and the staff a shout. Took nearly 20 minutes to calm down.
  17. Well the good news is that I eventually decided to go for the plunge. DR H managed a further 2500 grafts 5.5 hrs. This is my 2nd night and the pain isnt that bad as I had originally anticipated, dont get me wrong, the throbbing hasnt subsided, its still painful at times and still have to be carefull. I've stop taking one of the painkillers as it was making me feel nausic and switched to conventional meds , paracetomal, which seems to have helped a little. Also I used an inflatable travel pillow the 1st night to help reduce some of the pressure although I got very little sleep I must admit. Right now day 2 im just icing the forehead to reduce some of the swelling, accompanied by a little temprature and a teeny weeny feeling of nausea at times and tummy ache. I removed the bandage from my head and it resembles something out of Frankenstein's film, big and square.

  20. The reason being was that a small area failed to yeid for some reason, and with it being right on the front it looked silly, thats why. But if I go through with the next H/T ?? I will definately allow it to grow out and keep everyone updated. I hope the next lot of grafts are placed strategically in order to gain the maximum illusional effect. This is something I will be discussing with Dr H bfore the h/t. I pretty sure he'll understand my concerns and desires.
  21. I think you have hit it on the head Ringo. These are exactly my concerns. The whole procedure again, the healing, sleeping, numbness, the first few days/ nights of discomfort. The latter gives me solace there is light at the end of the tunnel. It makes me feel good that Bill and the community is here to help and support people through these hard and difficult times for some of us, after all having a H/T isnt excatly a walk in the park. I hope everything goes well. Thanks guys.
  22. Im due a 2nd H/T this week , but feel im kinda having 2nd thoughts. anybody any advice ?

  24. I may be returining back for a 2nd H/T 10th April. I am hoping i'll acheive around 2000 minimum if donor allows it??? May ask for around 5-700 grafts crown area, 1000 grafts frontal area and the remaining more central. What is the norm when dealing with the crown area should they just be planted or should they planted in a natural swirl?? After this H/T I will be allowing my hair to grow out, right up to December before I go for a cut, unlike before. Any ideas please do comment.
