I agree with Than I still over scrutinise my own hair ebven after all these years - i have learnt though that the less you look at it the better it gets I think there is an element of truth in that statement.

Hello A.K sorry to here about your N- experience. Have you tried to contact DR Hummayun , hes known to have rectified bad HTs. Hes offers quality at a very reasonable price.

Are these two diferent products regarding ingredients??? I know one is a liquid formula the other in foam. How do they compare

What is the score with propecia, I read on some web-sites about labido reduction, diminished sperm count even after stopping the med, suicide, erectile dysfunction and most of all you loose your hair when you start the drug.???????? After reading such info im a little confused as to why would people want to put themselves through so much trouble and uncertainty, although I read of success stories on the forum.???? Im flipin

Why do people take meds after having a H/T. for eg, there are people on the forum who were intially a 5/6 NWS who opted for a h/t and then start to take meds??? I was under the impression you only took these meds if you had hair to salvage, but if youve lost all your hair and then had a H/T why the meds .Sorry guys im a little confused can somebody maybe shed some light on this issue. Yep Bill your right , its me being OTT, time for me to chill and ride it out, as the Dr has sugessted , still early days I suppose.

Maybe your right, maybe im just flapping, my women keeps telling me the same thing , CALM DOWN!!! ITS STILL EARLY wait another 7 months. I think as of tody no more counting hairs or plucking, seems one moves away from the mirror syndrome only to end up with counting syndrome. Despite the feared lows I can still turn up at hospital where I study on a daily basis wearing no hats caps etc and continue as normal.

Is it possible to still have shock loss 5 months post-op ie delayed shocks loss especially to areas that are still numb.

I have combed my hair today after 5 days and have noticed at least a 100 hairs fel out by using my wide tooth combe. I have also managed to pluck out at least another 30-50 by very very gently with bear minimum force pulling on some of the hair around the edges of the crown area. Is this normal could it be seasonal/hair cycle or could it be some hairs are stil feeling the trauma of the translplant in the areas that are still numb 5.5 months -post op 2nd H/T.The other interseting thing is I dont think its the 1st H/T as they are much longer and thicker in length as i allowed them to grow. These seem to be half the size in most cases , could it be that the 2nd H/T planted where due another bout or round of a hair cycle and that may explain what I am experiencing.???? Should I start taking meds.

Ive just dyed my hair to a dark blacky brown and it looks much dfferent especially when its slightly damp/wet.

I am 5.5 months post-op 2nd H/T and I am itching real bad, I dont think I itched so much compared to my 1st H/T. when I press certain areas of the scalp I can feel pimple sensations although I cant see any pimples. The itching is just as bad in the donor area its driving me nuts. Any suggestions guys whats ahpening here.

Did the Dr do the grafting or was it done by his technicians. I must say the closure is neat very tidy.

I also feel I am going through something similair at times, with hairs in my comb on every other stroke. It could also be we have started closely anaylizing and scrutinizing every hair that falls and associating it to hair loss rather than the natural hair cycle. But it would be good if some Dr could elaborate on this issue, if there is an issue and not just paranoia ????

I know ive asked a similiar question to this before. I am now 17 months post-op from my 1st H/T and nearly 5 months post-op 2nd H/T. My question is that I have noticed hairs on my shirts and in the wash basin when I wash my hair and in my comb every morning. I would estimate around 50-70 hairs a day on average. Has anybody experienced anything similiar after a H/T. Is this part of anormal hair cycle or am I experiencing some form of seasonal shedding or could it be to the shampoo im using.

I think I may be experinecing a seasonal shed, I meandiscovering more hairs in my comb pillow bath etc and thats not just the top its from the back and sides.. I was wondering does anyone know how long does a seasonal shed last and is this a normal part of hair physiology that affcets everyone across the board. Obviously we guys would notice it a little more that others as we have had H/Ts that are usally based on strategic placing of grafts and crating an illusional affect.
