Thanks for the responses.I have done a search and it does'nt appear.The link provided did directed me to the post but the replies by Gillenator and Robert are no longer there. Also before I was able to do a Google search on "Magdalin" it would appear and direct his potential victims to this forum. Something that was invaluable.I hope it is returned to that status.I am greatful to the Founder and Modererator of this forum for providing this resource to help and save people. Dr. Shapiro has been extremely generous to me. Although he is truly a master of his craft he cannot be expected to be a magician, my "hair" situation is not really correctable,but he did improved it I just lost too much hair from the first job and not sweating from my head has caused a scalp condition which is not helping me keep my existing hair too well. My last visit was to laser the low plugs and dermabrasion to improve the skin.I still have cronic pain and discomfort as well as physical disabilities from "Dr." Magdalins "hair transplant". It is ironic that they tout their procedure as restore your full head of hair, safe and effective. There was nothing safe or effective about it. Famous last words of "Dr." Magdalin. There are "No complications". Not for him anyway or so he thinks.

Let the sue me they know who I am. Its all true . I think it was a good thing that when a search was done on that quacks name it came up. If the moderators of this site need to be sure that I am not fabricating or embelishing my story I will and do give them permission to talk to Dr. Shapiro about my condition and veiw my photos. There was nothing profane or untruthful in the post I am mentioning and the truth should not be censored or destroyed. It is obvious that MHR condones their "DRs." doing concentration camp type "surgeries" on people but if they are the reason the post was deleted it is also a bit too similar to other atrocities commited by certain groups.They should be informed that the sentiments posted are not that of the site but of one of their victims.

Some places like MHR have one number like 2,500 graft. If you have early hairloss you think wow I must really need a hairtransplant. If you are bald you think wow that will look great. Every time I went in with complications (complaints)I noticed the victim was getting 2,500 grafts. Everyone I have talked to that went to MHR got 2,500 grafts .They take out a 1" strip 10" long with a 4 bladed knife, cut up with whatever means available your "grafts" and throw away whatever is left.

What they show you and what they use can be different. I was shown microscopes and a tiny scalple and told I would have a 4" scar. They used neither and I ended up with a 10" long smily face and minigrafts. Some doctors go to seminars just to learn what to say to a victim not to gain skill in anything other that how to lie. Once they cut you you are at their mercy."Dr." Magdalin has missed the last 11 out of 12 meetings of the emblem and badge club that certified him . I guess he learned enough.

It depends who your Doctor is . When I had my first hair transplant , if you want to call it that . My hair fell out my scap was red full of holes and bumps and very sore I also had incredible swelling and two black eyes.After two months of going through shock over what was happened to me the "Dr."William Magdalin informed me that I had just had a head trauma what did I expect and declared that this was a healed surgery and I was a slow healer . The second was done by a real Doctor to try and improve some of the asthetic damage and camoflage some of the hairloss and scaring caused by "Dr. " Magdalin. I had NONE of the complications from it including the fact that I could'nt tell anything had been done . It looked like a crew cut in the area that was worked on. You must pick your Doctor wisely . PS I still havent recovered from the first "surgery" .

I did'nt do enough research so the "Dr". was able to lie me into a 2,500 graft proceedure for early hairloss as a one time proceedure that I would get great results with. And simply put butchered my head causing real hairloss and alot of scarring donor and recipiant. Alot of physical manifestations and pain. A real self esteem killer to say the least.

Shock loss also has a great deal to do with the skill of the surgeon and trauma to the scalp. In my case 50% of my existing hair in the front was gone right away where I was "worked" on, within two months the middle of my scalp was going and by the 7th month I had gone fom a n/w 2.5 to a N/w 5 with some funky sprouts on the front of my head.But then again I had more of an industrial accident than a hairtransplant.So it is not only relegated to the transplanted area.

You could not be in better hands. The only danger I see with his work is that it is so good that people see it and say I want a hair transplant and end up like I did not knowing that there is a profound difference in the techniques and skills out there.

Well sign me up I want to be treated like a valuable human being.P.S. keep shilling it might get you a discount because you Will need more grafts until your stripped out.

It sounds like you got great honest advise from a recommended Doctor. Unfortunately the only ones that would work on are also the ones that do the worst work AKA BUTCHERS .I was appauled when the consultant Steve told me that "DR." Magdalin had lowered a 16 year old girls hairline because she was self concious about her high hairline. This was while I was in shock over my recentley butchered head and I asked him how could they do this to a little girl. And he replied that he had the parents sign the forms. I wonder what happened to that girl.I wonder if MHR is going to have a second volume to go with leavitts hair loss and women entitled hairloss and children.

Anybody else? we are almost ready to go forward probably within a few weeks.Also you don't need to be disfigured to get involved as we are going to expose the fraud and misrepresentations as part of the suit.

Also remember that the hair in front is not the same guage thickness as your existing hair it will be thicker and even with fue once you start regardless of technique you are committed.just so you know the transplants will not look like your existing hair in the front and wont be as close together either.

No neither is really able to gotten rid of. It is usually the result of large grafts placed too deep or too shallow by a poorly trained staff usually employed by an equally skilled "DR." In My case it was William Magdalin of (MHR) Boston.

Dr.Ron Shapiro in Minnisota is the best for hairlines. I am having the low graftline on my forehead lasered in an attempt to improve some of the asthetic damage done to me by DR. Magdalin (MHR) 2 years ago,although the skin has an orange peel look to it at least there wont be pluggy sprouts coming out of it.

Eric beleive me you did not rush into it .The "Doctor" rushed you into it . Thats the way it happened to me. We expect Doctors to do what is right at the right time. In this field there are some very unethical and unskilled "Doctors" doing iresponsible and dangerous "work" on people such as William Magdalin of MHR disrepute. He mangled my head and depleted my donor in one fell swoop. I am very serious about exposing vermin like him and pushing for regulations that prevent his like from thriving.

Takeitfromme , please stay on the forum you are needed to help expose these people from the inside, what they do to people is criminal.Your insights on this operation are valuable and may be very useful to myself and others who have been damaged way beyond what we unknowingly consented to.

I have a witness in my former girlfreind who cannot beleive how profoundly we were mislead and lied to by an M.D. in order that he make a "sale" and how much harm he caused me as a result not only astheticly{Extreme shock loss over my whole head, pitting,scarred irregular scalp,facial wrinkles,scalp discoloraion , seboreic dermititis,etc. }but physically {I no longer sweat from my head and have a bounding heatbeat noone can figure out get flushed whenever I stand up to quickly or exert myself,sharp pains in my head and overall tightness }.Financially {My once thriving business has failed I have lost my house have used up my savings and am in ruins}Mentally{I have been hospitalised 6 times since this has happened to me have been on every anti-depressant under the sun and have even undergone electro-shock therapy as a last resort to try somehow to break this debilitating depression},how we were repeatedly told by he and his conslutant/salesperson that there weren't any complications as this was our main concern, only "great" results from a one time proceedure. That I could go to work the next day.
