  1. Thx for the heads up on the expander question doc . like i say the the person on tv seemed to have a great result , would "stretch back" be a problem down the road, or a lot less likely than a straight normal excision ?, were these skin expanders used for scalp reductions also ? hope u can get this scar improved turbo.
  2. Your scar turbo is one of the worst ive seen on here for a while , it looks so angry and thick .I think scar revsison is way to go but as u have stated everthing feels so tight already back there, have u emailed dr lindsey and asked his opinion !?. a question would be about air stretch bag option (and it being practical or possible) !? to gain skin elactisity , only thing that would mean is being finding some one local, reason i mention it is , only a couple of months ago i seen a program on tv and a guy who had a bike accident and was left with big scars across the top of his head .. later on he went on and wore the inflatible stretch bag, the scarring was then cut and close back up with great result , it was a nhs program in the midlands
  3. That is a thick scar , is this the only HT procedure u have ever had done !?
  4. Hi BB Tbh i think your hair looks ok , are u taking propecia/fin. whats your hair look like grown out longer , i think both docs are exellent choices. my concern would as u being diffuse would be shockloss of whats already there. Imo i would go down the meds route and hold out a couple of more years at least.
  5. The guy on the website id have to say it doesnt look natural the lines are as stated earlier are to harsh and linear, maybe the tattoist needs to add arcs and recession curves when drawing in some of the hairlines. the guy in the video didnt look to bad, he did have a lot more hair tho, he would also have to have it cleaned shaved every day to keep that illlusion of shadow scalp hair
  6. Hang in there bro, wait another couple of months and Assess the situation again then. hopefully it will all come good.
  7. As u have stated , it would seem your no better of , maybe worse of than before surgery, i,d say u need about 3k grafts to get to were u want to be (donor permiting) and using a coalition doc recommended of this site.
  8. abe , i agree with trans , take the doc up on that touch up work , i mean its a great result apart form them gaps ... go for it
  9. IMHO , u dont need a hair transplant at all . u have a great head of hair.
  10. just thinking , every time i look at HT befores and after pics , its kinda wearing thin (no pun intended) see the most possible worst case sceniario pics of the situation pre surgery , i mean the use of a comb can be so misleading , its always the afters that are combed perfect to represent the best possible situ. the pre op pics never get chance of day.
  11. didnt one of the last hdc posts do the same, fue 1st and strip 2nd ? that guy in question had a tattoo and most of it was taken out when the strip was harvested, it was a great result anyways. . i mean wudnt fue,ing when theres a fresh stitched up strip wound round the back cause added trauma to the closure !? all the best with your Ht Krs.
  12. Spose if its gonna stretch its gonna stretch either way ! and with the costs of another session for the new excision work ... option one sounds the most productive imo , maybe adding deep sutures to take the load that various doctors use would be beneficial.
  13. Im not sure were the other pics are of this case, but that gap was there immediately after surgery and i did think it looked kinda odd as to why no hair was put in that area, i agree he got great yield from what was planted. still and all , he,s gonna need another session to fix this
  14. Very Poor result. not good at all , hope u can get sommit sorted out with the clinic , cant be left looking like that.
  15. Is that the hospital groups work at the very edge that you can still see ? , whats the plan with them hairs .. Electrolocis ? or does the doc think them hairs will blend in with the soon to be new hairline just behind.
  16. The work looks very good indeed. i like the way Dr H takes the strips up and angled higher "At the sides" going into some real good solid hairs.
  17. it does seem that removing some of the more prominent plugs and replanting further back would of give an overall better result
  18. When u get these scalp reductions. do they put inflator bags in under the scalp for a month so to stretch the skin that will then be cut away , or is that only in certain cases ?. The pic above doesnt seem that bad, im not sure what level of hair loss was like before the scalp reductions (nw5?) but with a few thousand grafts in that triangle bald area could turn out pretty good doc/donor/elasticity dependant
  19. good to here the doc removed a lot of them plugs. as i dont think u could of relied on singles covering them, is there any after pics. grow well
  20. Thats a big shocked area for a relativly small strip (1800). It should come back in with in a few months or so
  21. what are we looking at here , facts n figures ?
  22. It must of been a wig he was wearing as 1st thought, i think he looks ok with in shaved of , he didnt see as competetive when he was wearing the piece , he was never around when the boots were flying or when heading the ball was required, he should get a lot of his game back now. good luck to the lad.
