  1. my scar is almost red as it was from first week of surgery. But last couple of days its getting little bit better so i hope it will back to normal in 3-6 months. I have that redness also in transplanted area BUT i didnt have ANY shock loss! Plus 40% of my transplanted hair didnt sheed and continue to grow (more then 1 cm) and now i already see some better coverage in front! i guess not everything can be perfect.......
  2. hey dhuge67 are you happy with your procedure? we have same hairloss i think, only difference is i got 2000 grafts in that area! your scar looks really good! temples are ok but i would prefer more density there to match rest of my frontal hair !
  3. i would never have HT if they asked me to buzz my hair! After HT you will have redness and also you will have to deal with scar. im now 25 days post op and i have terrible scar and redness in transplanted area BUT i can cover it with my long existing hair. i really can`t immagine how it would look with short hair! in that case i would "hibernate" or stay at home next 3-6 months!
  4. Hi all I have one quick question,im 25 days post op (2000 grafts) and i have bald patch below my scar. Its 2 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. And there is no one single hair in this bald space . I have shock loss all around my scar area but im really worry about this patch. I have never seen anything simmilar on this forum, Is this normal shock loss?

  6. i also cant understand it. some docs also do 5000 or 6000 gr. in one procedure. my question is also how many grafts will survive procedure? my procedure lasted almost 10 hours and i got "only" 2000 grafts.
  7. its two weeks now, and im a little concerned because none of the new transplanted hairs came out yet. They just continue to grow with other hairs, which is good and make me happy, but i know they are supposed to shedd after some time.i shampoo pretty agressively now and i still did notice any of the shedding.
  8. man i know how u feel youngguy is right.Self-confidence affects everything about your life. i decided it in one day after 1 year of researching. I had many many many doubts,i didnt trust lookin at pictures on docs sites,i had consultation with 3 docs and they all said different things..... BUT! im so happy now after i did it. I still waiting for results but if everything go as i planed i will be happiest man in the world!
  9. why you dont grow your hair longer in the back? that should hide your scar. and yeah rogaine is very hard to use,i dont like using that!
  10. hey actionradar thanx for update good luck with growing!!
  11. Hi all Im 9 days post op and just recently have I started to get dry skin up top and once in a while, looks like a hardened folicle comes out attached to a hair (usually after shampo when i gently rub it with my finger) . its no a soft folicle, like it's still alive, it's very hard, almost like dried skin, but i can see it looks like a folicle(and sometimes i can see one or two hairs attached to it!).(and there is no blood) Should I be worried? Anyone have any answers or similar experiences?
  12. i took these pictures same day (5 days before surgery with dr.keene). as you can see my first pic is done outside with sun light (and u cant notice any hairloss that i have) while second pic i did at my home (and u can see what kind of hairlos i have. This is the reason why i dont believe watching pics from docs sites or even from some people who are posting on HT forums. I think everyone should be honest and show pictures (pre and post op) made with same light, same angle and same hair lenght.
  13. hi gorpy! so you received 25 gr. per cm? she told me (dr.keene) same thing (for sides) im not sure it will match my existing hair cuz its more dense then 25cm,i think. did you have any shockloss of your natural hair after procedure? thanx
  14. huh guys this is very discouraging.i expected to see good amounth of regrowth at 6 months mark! i have HT in 2 days! only thing i worry is shock loss,i dont mind if i need to wait 6 or 10 months for regrowth, but if i have shock loss of my existing hair and have to wait 6 months just to see any improvement then i will be really mad!
  15. dhuge67 honestly,i dont see any big diference! i dont see any big changes on your sides! (first pic) im having HT in 2 days in same area (front, sides) and i really hope it will make huge difference in 6 months! do you see any regrowth?
  16. wow 6 months post op and still no results? it must be long wait.......
  17. no hair sux its funny how we are almost same age and have exact same hair! im going for HT in one week,i was told i need only 2000 grafts. i have been taking propecia for 4 months and i had a LOT of sheding but it looks that now is much better. i hope i will not have a lot of shock-loss after my surgery,im little bit scared about that but we will see!
  18. yeah thats true when i had full head of hair it was not hard to meet any girl. today is diferent story! and only thing is changed is my hair!
  19. colorsilk- its only 2.99 and its the best color if it turns red use red corrector- you can buy it at sally`s store
  20. keene and you? i have same post-op treatment plans as you. but i still have to discuss my post op with doc!
  21. hey Midiman i have HT in arizona too,in 2 weeks! i see u are using Follicle Booster, does it help? im surprised here nobody talks about this product,i have been using it for 3 months now and i think it really helps. hair is much ticker and i see also some new little hairs coming from zone where i apply that every night .
