she told me same thing! some people here says its better to shave all remaining hair for better result. but i would like to hide my ht with my existing hair (at least from my second month after surgery) so i dont like idea of shaving my hair to 0.

all HT docs i spoke with Recommended propecia! and said stay on it at least 1 year. BUT if i stay one year on it and situation gets worse i will end with no frontal hair at all!! i just would like to hear from someone that all hair lost due propecia will return !! and im getting HT soon. if i also loose hair due to shockloss from HT then it will be really scary.....

Crown is ok but frontal part is almost all gone ! i think in 3 months i lost 40% of my frontal hair! i understand that there is sheding period due to finastride but im still very worry. i read a couple of forum posts here and other web hairloss forums and many people are talking about propecia making their frontal hairlane worse while improving crown area. my crown area is fine and mainly reason im taking proscar is to improve frontal part of my hairlane. does anyone know how long it will take to see real improvement from proscar/propecia ? i have exact same problem. my situation is A LOT worse after taking proscar for 3 months. i know about sheding period but still.... anyone knows when we can see real improvement after taking finastride ? how many months? and will all this hair that i lost due proscar will return?

i also would like to know more about this! im having HT soon and im taking propecia now but what if i stop to take it after transplant,and if i loose more of my natural hair?? then my transplant will look completly unnatural?

i have been only 1 month on propecia and im shedding alot! but i hope it will grow back again but ticker. if you are still shedding after 6 months that suck! i think if that happen to me i will be almost bald then after 6 months! someone here said it takes 3-4 months to see propecia benefit! i hope....

wow my hairloss is similar to yours but im doing only 2000 gr. 4000 plus second procedure seems a lot to me! i may be wrong...... i always wondered how HT doctors can tell how many grafts we need if they see only one or few pictures from net? since all of them require full payment in advance before HT what happen if you actually need 2000 or 3000 grafts but you paid already for 4000 in advance? do they give you back difference ? i was told i need 2000 grafts for my HT but what if from my donor area we take only 1500? and i payd for 2000?

and to reply to UGLY MAN 4 LIFE ,people who post on hairlosshelp.com forums are so negative, almost everybody there are against HT or propecia. i cant bealive 90% of people there on hairlosshelp.com forums have sides of propecia!?? remember,3 HT doctors i spoke with they racomanded propecia and almost ALL their pacients are using propecia!!! only thing im scared now is shadding,i lost a lot of hair in last 4 weeks on propecia!!

what u are talking about? btw i dont think propecia shedding period is 6-12 months,that would be too long ! i started propecia 4 weeks ago and im shedding alot now !! it would be really scary if my hair does not re-grow! i`ve read somewhere on forum that guy said he was shedding also first 3 months but never saw regrowth after that! that would suck cuz i think in this 4 weeks i lost hair like i lost in past 5 years!!
