  1. Cryingoutloud- don't get me wrong if my result with Hakan is crap I will say so on here . The knocking out thing ....very rare and done with qualified staff , I was in a huge private hospital....fully staffed. You are correct theres a few duff results but nearly all Drs have that , a sad fact and gamble of this industry....not everybody can afford Lorenzo or Black Rock but want their hair back. KO covers my point on Drs now sharing out duties in the above post , like you I feel it's not ideal but it seems it's the way things are going. To say Hakan doesn't do it in your first post simply isn't true mate , I think you need to look into him a bit more before making claims like that in public. I went to the mighty Dr Feller first time around back in 2007 , techs were working on implanting on me way back then .......paid a lot more too. Please feel free to Pm me if you want to learn a bit more about Dr Hakan.
  2. This from the clinic , it may help the opening poster ....by the way I've been with Doganay ....he removed 50% of my grafts then watched over the head tech , he then did the whole placement. I'm aware the head tech helps out with placement in less key areas like mid scalp while Hakan has a break . I've also heard Lorenzo will no longer be doing the full op by himself.... From the clinic..Thanks for bringing up these questions and creating a chance for us to answer them. 1) Number of Patients We do 1 or at most 2 operations in each day. Since we use Choi Implanter pen Technique, doing several operations in same day, especially parallel operations, is not possible, and we do not recommend it. 2) Questions about our Technicians We train our technicians carefully before they involve in any operation. We do the operations with well trained and experienced technicians. Therefore, having different technician teams is not a case. As our previous patient Mr. spitfireuk mentioned we have ONLY one team. 3) Questions about extractions We can use both manual and motorized extraction techniques. In the motorized technique, we use the motorized tool with slow spin speed. We, therefore, don't see difference between motorized and manual techniques. We gave an interview to Mr. Gates from UK in the video below, and you can find more detailed answers in it. 4) Questions About Putting our Patients into sleep Few of our patients (who do not want to feel the pain of injection even if it is bearable) ask general anesthesia instead of local anesthesia . In this case we can apply general anesthesia under the control of anesthetists. However, this is a very rare case and normally we use local anesthesia. Overall, general anesthesia is just an option and we talk to our patients before applying it. Thanks again. 3. Looks clean mate , doesnt that washing 3 x a day get on your nerves
  4. To be honest I use that address and always get a reply in hours , easyjet cost me about 150 return. Like many places overseas i only had a online quote , I know Spex off here is holding an open day in London soon , he knows whats what.....get in contact with him.
  5. Danny what email address have been using for Dr Hakan? , I flew direct from Gatwick to Antalya via easyjet....4 hour flight.
  6. Thanks guys , the donor area has grown in real quick...think I can get a hair cut now as Mrs S says you can see nothing. I must say I didnt expect to feel stubble after only 2 months , also Mrs S says there are a number of black dots on the scalp. Fingers crossed!
  7. Great write up , as a fellow UK patient i echo your views on Dr Hakan .....they gave me a bit of money back too. Good luck with the growth!
  8. 2 month update , well pleased with donor area ....can feel spiky things very faintly up top. Fingers crossed....
  9. Wrong mate , just wrong .......Dr Hakan does nearly all the implanting , the one area i think he doesn't always do is the mid scalp which he lets his hands have a break and observes his head tech.
  10. Busa ....respect you but trust me he likes to be known as Dr Hakan , i was asked to call him that.
  11. Well we are still waiting to hear the outcome after admin on here reached out to the patient and Dr Hakan. To be honest those claims are very , very strong without anything to back it up . It's the first time anything like that has been aimed at Dr Hakan yet there is nothing so far to back it up , no photo's ...the patient doesn't want to post anymore about it or be PM'd . I could come on here and call any Dr with no proof then refuse to talk about it or provide evidence ...... I've been through the H/T system twice , you don't need to try to tell me how it works and how many hours you spend crawling the internet. Many people with many different agenda's post on forums that much i have learnt. I see you went to the much respected Rahal but in recent months I've seen a few poor results for him on various forums ...does that make him a bad Dr? No i don't think it does but there will always be patients not fully happy or other reasons why things didn't quite go to plan . To be honest i think that post should be taken down until the truth is out whichever way it goes.
  12. Your in safe hands with Dr Hakan , i had an op with him in November ....of course i can't see the final result but everything so far has been excellent. I've been very impressed with the after care too with several emails checking up on me . Read my thread . The opening post has serious allegations with no proof , I'm glad it's been raised. There's plenty of happy Hakan guys around , check Mickeydw for one stunner of a result
  13. It maybe you speak the truth but at the same time it means nothing unless you post before/ after pics . Your words mean nothing without proof imo
  14. Strange post , 1st post on here..won't answer questions , won't post any pictures ....just slating the Dr's work ....
  15. 1 month update , all healing well ...ugly duckling phase is here!
  16. Sorry , your remarks about Dr Hakan are wrong .Doesn't even do most of the procedure ? Wrong ....just wrong ....did 50 % of my removal and all the placement . On larger cases he has a bit of help in placement from his Head Tech (imo thats good , grafts don't want to be out that too long ) . Dr Hakan does both manual and motorized , patients choice. Motorized removal by head tech ....as you can see he is just as involved in the operation as Dr Koray if not more . Dr Koray is a fine doctor but he does seem to quote a lot more grafts than most other Dr's so clearer the cost will be higher. Respect your views but the stuff about Dr Hakan just isn't true.
  17. Here's a point , I've posted my recent op in the fue section , it's had nearly 300 views yet 3 maybe 4 replies ....i can see why people lose interest in posting results. I have had a fair few PMs about it though.
  18. If it's Dr Hakan then you get a huge bag of stuff and a programme on how to take it.
