  1. @LikeAJungle il keep my fingers crossed for you mate they do say it takes a while for the hair to mature
  2. @veckihair best of luck mate, you worry up until you go then suddenly it’s all over and the exciting part begins
  3. I used Toppik for the best part of a decade and found it gave a good result for a reasonable price.
  4. As others have said best to wash out at night, otherwise they clump up anyway and look awful the next day
  5. Month 6 Update Can't believe its been 6 months since the procedure but every month it continues to improve and still have little hairs popping up each day. I saw a picture of my hair last summer and feels amazing to compare the differences. I have left my hair to grow a little longer this month and while it needs a tidy is definitely a length I'm more comfortable with. Not sure what else to say is aside from I'm very happy and if it continues to grow now everything else is a bonus. Added some photos and bonus shot of my hair just over a year ago..
  6. Hi Mate, cheers, I did a lot of looking and tbf most of the reviews I read in the main had a fairly good experience with Yaman. I've seen a few recently that are questionable but typically they seem okay, my advice would always be listen to what the clinic says and don't try to rush the process, you are going to look a little questionable for a few months but too often you see people shaving their hair down to grade 1 and 2 to mask it and this is a no no from my opinion. In terms of price I agreed a price around this time last year having the procedure in October but it was $3250, I've seen some people quoted more and some less but that seemed the average rate at the time. Hope all goes well wherever you go
  7. @LikeAJungle this is looking great, random one but have got found that you have a lot more density on the hairline but quite a lot more empty behind? I'm hoping it makes a magical emergence but mindful it may mean I've got a constant comb back going forward aha
  8. Month 5 Update Sorry for the lack of month 4, in truth didn't feel much different to month 3 but now starting to really see some growth and honestly really happy with the progress its making. The crown like most is slower but the front is starting to fill in and can see and feel lots of new hairs popping up most days. Obviously the closer you get the more patchy it looks but from afar I'm really happy, I even tested a relatively low grade on the back and yeah you can notice if you are looking at it closely it is slightly patchy on the donor area but nothing I worry about and nothing I think most would notice. Photos below, happy to answer any questions
  9. @LikeAJungle its similar to you really mate, still quite thin under harsh light but a big improvement pre transplant, I only realised the other day I didn't do a month 4 update but might as well wait till month 5 now so stay posted lol
  10. Looking great @LikeAJungle, glad to see it’s made a massive improvement since month 3, I’ve started using toppik again when I’m going out, does wonders for the illusion 😂 happy growing
  11. Honestly don’t worry at all mate they are getting themselves nicely rooted just make sure to apply the foam each day, it will feel so much better once you get to day 10 when you wash the scabs out
  12. Hi chka, your donor and scalp will feel tight for some time, especially as it starts to heal and scab over your scalp will feel particularly tight but rest assured it improves and once you around a month it is minimal, just ensure to apply your foam and leave it soaking for some time for relief. If you have allowed the swelling to spread by not wearing the headband you could have discomfort as far as under your eyes but couldn’t comment too much on this as it didn’t go near my jaw. I would say your face feels very strange for the first few weeks but quickly improves
  13. @ruckard check out my thread I had a great experience, Yaman does more than 2 a day though there were 3 when I had mine done
  14. Looking good, donor seems to recovering well considering it’s not even been two weeks, happy growing
  15. @dinothet the pictures above are another guy who went to yaman who posted his progress too, but for me all is going well. The surgery itself was fine and support during was great, just a case of waiting for the final result now
  16. 3 Month Update So it’s been 3 months since procedure day safe to say I’m already amazed by the results, my donor has recovered perfectly and I have no discomfort anywhere. I’m fairly confident I didn’t lose that much hair during the shedding phase as I have a lot of hairs that have what Il describe as tip which you can see is the hair growth before it was transplanted. I still have a long way to go and it’s early days but I haven’t found the ugly ducking phase anywhere near as painful as I thought. Meds I’m on btw are Vitamin D, Magnesium, Saw palmetto and biotin. Will keep updating each month but happy to answer any questions if I can help
  17. Daft question but do you guys wash your hair everyday? I find that after applying the spray twice daily it needs to be washed daily to keep it fresh or it gets itchy, it could just be luck but I’m almost at 3 months with Yaman and don’t really have any redness now
  18. @LikeAJungle looking good mate, hopefully past the worst of the shedding now, you can see plenty of light coloured hairs so hopefully the growth will continue strong from now on
  19. No worries, I'm sure you already are but I found in the few first weeks taking an antihistamine was more effective at keeping the itching at bay than the spray
  20. Hair looks great mate, I'm currently 2 months in from Yaman so hoping for a similar result Hope your hair only continues to get even better
