  1. Sorry, maybe I didn't put it that way, but itching can sometimes be torture, especially when you can't scratch it.
  2. Do you usually wash your hair every day, I mean before the transplant? Because I think washing makes my skin dry and itchy. I spray saline water constantly, but sometimes it's torture.
  3. Is in necessary to wash you hair every day, after the scabs is gone? Because maybe it is too much stress for implanted grafts and when the hair are short washing every second or third day maybe better?
  4. Here is the photo from above. The second time I want to cover the remaining area, I think it will take 2500-3000 grafts. I’m also thinking about increasing density, but have two concerns: 1. When implanting grafts into the area where the transplant was performed already, is there a risk of damaging existing follicles? 2. To increase density, too many grafts should be extracted and it can be dangerous for the donor area.
  5. Together with my personal medical assistant, I visited many clinics 😉. And many of them were really good, but Dr. Yaman was the clear winner. I did not rely on pure luck, but this was a well-informed choice.
  6. Hello everyone, I spent a lot of effort searching for a suitable clinic and would like to share with you the results of my first hair transplant session. I had extensive baldness, almost 6 on the Norwood scale. After a lot of research and personal consultation with Dr. Yaman, I decided to split my hair transplant into 2 sessions. To cover the front in the first step and the top in the second step. I am very happy with the results of the first session and will soon be going to Istanbul for the second session with Dr. Yaman. On the day of the operation, I was picked up from the hotel at 9:00. We discussed the details of the transplant with Dr. Yaman, and he tentatively drew the transplant area and the front line. Then they shaved my head bald, and Dr. Yaman made the final drawing. After this, the operation began and continued until 18:30. There was a short break for lunch. After the operation, I spent a few more days in Istanbul, visiting the clinic, where they changed the bandage and washed my hair on the third day. On the 4th day I was going to go home but I made a mistake and accidentally hit the recipient area and 1 or 2 grafts popped out of place. I quickly went to the clinic and they put the grafts back in place and I was able to go home. 10 days after the surgery I was over the moon about the first hairs appear. Around day 25 I started experiencing shock loss. Hair began to grow again 2.5 months after the surgery. When by the fourth month the hair had already grown back quite well, there were still a few tiny spots without hair, which disappeared by 6-7 months. Even in recent months I have noticed a lot of positive changes: just a few months ago my hair changed direction slightly, and in the last month it has become softer. As has been written here many times, be patient and you will get the best results.
