  1. Month 3: More baby hairs are beginning to pop up sporadically. The first two months passed relatively quickly, but the third month felt much longer. I found myself checking for new hair growth daily. This month, I'm also starting to gradually reduce my Cialis dosage, skipping days until I'm completely off it. I anticipate more hair follicles will become visible, as the comparison with postoperative pictures indicates there's progress to be made. Overall, the progress appears to be on track for the third month.
  2. Month 2: I ended up shedding most of transplanted hair, but on day 9 of month 2, I noticed the first signs of new growth
  3. Kudos for consistent updates @DomTransplant! I notice more baby hairs sprouting. You will see increased density in the future. It's looking excellent!
  4. @Calihome1 I hadn't realized the graft count was only 1500, it seemed denser. I had a transplant with Dr. Turan and received 2400 grafts for a smaller area. In Turkey they typically aim for high density though.
  5. I didn't intend to bump an old thread. I had multiple tabs open from this forum and overlooked the date before replying in this one.
  6. @FM1 Id stay away from Yaman. It'd be one thing if his unfavorable outcomes were from years ago, but he had a hair transplant result with cobblestoning as recent as April 2023. You might consider reaching out to Dr. Turan or Dr. Gur. I reached out FUECAPILAR Dr. Turan and secured an appointment within three weeks. However, I was prepared to leave on a two-week notice anytime and made that clear. I'm 2 months and 10 days into my hair transplant journey, and I'm seeing baby hairs sprouting EVERYWHERE, a successful procedure
  7. @hairman4321 you're not alone in this! It's astounding to think that such results can come from a transplant! Kudos to @Dr. Thomas Nakatsui I had to do a double-check, couldn't believe my eyes
  8. Fantastic, @irfsss! The results look so natural even when the grafts haven't matured fully. What a great yield without a potent growth stimulants like minoxidil. It looks great! By the way, did you ever start using minoxidil after all?
  9. @SPMorrissey23 The growth sprout is indeed happening! The density is impressive, and as the hair matures, it will blend seamlessly and lose that frizzy appearance. You're on the right track, buddy! In the photos, is the hair wet? Why does it appear so spiky?
  10. Has there been no notable change in density? Could you give an update?
  11. Honestly, friend, @Callum I'm concerned that might be hematoma from the hair transplant, a potential complication. I've seen cases where such dark patches lead to compromised growth. My advice would be to try microneedling that area along with minoxidil. It will help stimulate the stem cells and possibly rejuvenate some grafts. I regret to saying bad news, but it's my honest opinion.
  12. @Fue3361 Your hair transplant looks outstanding, very similar of James Franco's, especially the work on the temple points. I can only imagine how much compliments you've received since the procedure. Truly wonderful outcomes!
  13. First Month Update: I experienced minimal shedding, retaining about 60% of my grafts. I attribute this to maintaining my grafts in a perpetual anagen phase by applying topical minoxidil starting from the second day post-surgery. However, I wouldn't advise this for everyone. Not all minoxidil users see hair regrowth, which is believed to be due to individual differences in converting minoxidil to its active form, minoxidil sulfate. I've also taken a high dosage of oral minoxidil, above standard recommendations, so I won't specify the amount to discourage someone following this crazy protocol. Planning to continue with 2.5mg of Cialis & Viagra for the next two months. So far, I've encountered no side effects.
  14. @mark91 There aren't many natural alternatives to the Cialis, Viagra, and Minox combination, aside from exercise, which has been shown to somewhat boost blood flow. In streets Cialis and Viagra often come in 60mg, but when taking small doses of 2.5mg, there's a buildup of tolerance and a minimal side effect profile. I can vouch for this, as I take it daily and quickly build tolerance.
  15. @Fue3361 Thank you! Your kind words mean a lot. Honestly you're an inspiration from this forum. I've gone through both of your HT threads, and you experienced the ideal hair transplant journey, rivaled only by @TorontoMan. It's awesome that you're still around. Truly, legend.
  16. @transplant49584When exactly did you experience shedding? Was it a sudden, or did it happen gradually over weeks?
