  1. What exactly is it and what does for hairloss?
  2. What is MSM? I hear you can buy it at GNC? Any other stores to purchase MSM, I've been hearing raves about this stuff in the Gold's Gym I work out in.

  4. Your results are coming in nice. Did Shapiro use the "lateral slit" technique? Keep growing.
  5. When Shapiro cut the front of you hair for dense packing. Did he just cut it short- inch or so, or did he shave it down to the skin? Also, was this your first HT or have you had others? Thanks
  6. Last night on extreme making, they had their second HT patient who had other cosmetic procedures done as well which turned out great. Unlike the first makeover HT patient last week, this one showed upclose results that looked like a week after procedure and looked pretty good. The doctor was Dr. Rassom who said the patient received 2645 grafts. Due to the 9 month growth rate, they put a hairpiece on the guy for the reveal. Does anyone have info on this Dr. Rassom?

  8. Pat O'Brien was on the morning show today with Matt Lauer. If you have seen Pat in the past on Access Hollywood or on the NBA weekend shows, he was thinning badly with deep receeding hairline that was thin all over (Phil Collins look but the middle was long with a comb to the side look). Well, He has been off the air for 6 months or so, and WOW his HT looks great-- you wouldnt even know he had one if you didnt know how bald he was getting previously. Whoever his surgeon was did an awesome job-- his hair is short, not too thick and not too thin--- looks very natural. He had it cut short and combed back. Also, Matt has let his hair grow out and even though it is still short, he definately had a HT which I must say was excellent-- it looks very natural as well. We need to get some before and after pics of both on the internet so you can see the great difference.

  10. I've been on Propecia and Xtra strength Rogain for a little over 5 yrs now and things have been great. Every 9 months or so, I'll have some shedding which I stopp the propecia for 1 week and restart giving my a system a "shock". This seems to work because the small shedding stops for another 9 months or so. I would highly recommend the combo to any HT patients wanting to limit additional/future hairloss.
  11. Watch the Today Show lately? Matt Louwer looks like he hat a great HT-- you wouldnt even now, but remember that 6 months ago he basically shaved his hair to a 1/4 of an inch?? Then he took about 2 weeks off prior to showing up on TV with his new shaved look-- he said he was beating nature to the punch and decided to cut it short---Well, now 6 months later his hair is still short-- about 1/2 inch but much fuller and thicker 50% more than before??? Looks like his HT is coming in and I might say very nicely-- whoever his surgeon was did an excellent job because you cant tell he had anything done except his hair is growing out fuller and thicker?

  13. Dude, IF you do what's right, you will be a Millionaire with a jury at the same time have a nice head of hair with a professional surgeon repairing the third teir (at best) doctor's work. Good luck and get on it right away-- Take tons of pics and document, document, document every correspondence, letter, phone call, conversation.
  14. Question for all those who have used CytoGraft after HT surgery. The company says that CytoGraft when used appropriately and liberally will prevent new HT hairs from becoming "dormant and falling out". Have any of you experience this because keeping the tranplanted hair without going through the 3-4 month dormant fallout phase would be nice--- even though CytoGraft is expensive. Thanks for all replies.

  16. Parable, IF you dont here anything from Dr. White or his talking voice- Barry in the next 10 days. I would file a complaint with the equal of the "Better Business Bureau" and file a Medical complaint with the state/country regulatory board. In each filing, submitt the color pics you posted on this board as evidence as well as copies of all communications. The reason for filing these complaints, is to alert and make the public aware of the situation with Dr. WHite and how he handled your issue after concerns were raised-- didnt take responsibilty or accountability. Your scar itself is absolutely unsatifactory in current HT industry! Of course if Dr. White is a reputable and honest physician who wants to maintain is public image and do the right thing, he will contact you to refund/settle your complaints-- by doing so you probably will have to sign a no contest/letigation clause as well as public publicity clause. Whatever you do, do not let him talk you into trying to correct/fix your problem "free of charge"--NO WAY. If not, then file the complaints and Medical inquiry. Good luck, with your pics and written/visual evidence you will not need luck because the truth is visual.
  17. Just wanted to post a positive side effect to N2O--the incrediable nutriental supplement taking the fitness world by storm. It is nitrogen oxide which allows for greater transport and reuptake of nutrient in your muscles by expanding the dialation of blood vessels and capularies. This year it has been the phenom that all atheletes and bodybuilders are using. The positive side effect is it actually makes your hair thinker and healthier because of allowing more blood flow (including the scalp). Rogain also is a nitrogren oxide compound as well, but N20 is oral and works systemically. I was unaware of this positive side effect on my hair when I started taking N20 by MRI and had tremendous results with decrease body fat and increase lean muscle. Then after 4 weeks, I've noticed my hair feeling thicker and with more shine-- and no "fallout" in the shower. So I started doing additional research on N20 and sure enough it is a good side effect which is due to the mechanism of action of the supplement. I dont know if it works for everyone, but is it working for me and I wasnt even using it for hair improvement-- But most compounds development for one thing turn out to work in other areas as well. Just thought I would pass it along as an fyi. You can by N20 at any GNC or on-line at a discount at netrition.com.

  19. Joe, Do you use rogain on your HT crown?

  21. Joe, I know you've had many HT procedures. My question is regarding your "swirl" crown procedure. How many FU did you have placed in your crown area? Thanks.

  23. You can buy Toppiks on-line at site like SpenserForest-- do a search for other sites. I use Toppiks and it is great to adding volume and filling in thinner areas of the scalp. I find it awesome on the crown and inner scalp, but only marginal on hairline. What you will need is a areosol hairspray. Some with severe hairloss and thinning also use products like dermapatch or coveara'-- it basically darkens your scalp to match the color of your hair. (I dont use this product--yet). Toppiks really works.
  24. Nioxin, is working well for me. I've been on propecia and Rogain for 6 yrs now and about 5 months ago I started getting additional "fallout", that's when my hairstylest suggested Nioxin. I use the shampoo, scalp therapy conditioner, the cytonutrient leave on every other day and rotate with the basic nutrient on the hairline. It took about a month, then I noticed my fallout lessening, and my hair just feels so much "cleaner" and smoother than before. As far as for hairloss-- I dont know about that claim, but I believe it is the best product on the market for hair nutrients and therapy. Buy it on the web and save a bundle.
