I have three older brothers and one younger brother that show no signs of hair loss. Yet, I am showing significant signs of hair loss. Wouldn't the probability of one of them have MPB be high? I have continued to lift weights since my last post and have continued to lose my hair. I can't tell if it is at a greater rate or not, but it sure does feel like it. When I started my new workout regimine I weighed 163. Now, I weigh about 176; that's 13 pounds in 2 to 2 1/2 months. People are seriously thinking that I am using steroids. However, I only take weight gainer and protein supplements. I do eat a lot more, a lot is an understatement. I think my testosterone level is too high. Is there doctor that specializes in hormones? If there is, would he be able to measure my testosterone level? The only doctor I have seen about my hair loss is my dermatologist, and he diagnosed me as having MPB. Should I get a check up to see if there is any underlying factors that are contributing to my hair loss. Maybe, something is speeding up the hair loss process. Any help would be appreciated.
THanks
Dave
