No but restaurants nearby, supermarket and probably Uber Eats. Recommend aiming any questions at @Raphael84 he’s a rep for BHR who’s a star and was a massive help to me.
Sincere thanks. 👍

Oh, and I take it that that hotel doesn't have room service/food available?

Yeah that’s where I stayed, simple place but it’s 2 minutes walk from the clinic so no stress about being on time or needing taxis etc so great for that.
Excellent stuff.
Any idea how much taxis charge around there, specifically getting from the Eurostar station to the hotel etc.? I'm working with a limited budget unfortunately.
I'm meeting with the man himself at the end of the month, as he is doing consultations in London then.

No don’t worry Brexit has no effect on taking short trips in Europe. It’s easy enough, hotel is right next to the clinic and a couple of hour flight. In my view and of most people on this forum it’s much better to put in a bit of effort or put up with a little bit of travel inconvenience and get a great result Vs the opposite and have many years of inconvenience and stress with a poor ht result. It’s important to remember a ht is for life so it’s vital to only go with the very best ht doctors, wherever it is they may be based.
Is this the hotel that you used?

Already some positive feedback on reddit and elsewhere anyway (hair loss stopped after few days ). This looks promising !
How is it possible to stop hair loss in a few days?

There is no perfect. But there is bad surgeon, mediocre surgeon and elite surgeon. And there is legendary surgeon 😅
Right now Dr. Z is the legendary one.
Who is Dr. Z?

Yeah, I did actually...I had another "topping up" session where he added a further 200 new hairs. Made no difference at all. Another thing is that he refused to bulk up the areas directly behind the hairline either, and flat out refused to do the temple regions which I really needed. Finally, after obsessing with my hair for a further year I had enough and went to Asmed in Istanbul. The results he gave were more to my expectations. Ive added two pic to show the result.
That all sounds very concerning. I believe that he was on this forum's recommended list, and then removed I understand, rightly or wrongly.
He was actually my first choice, but I'm going to exercise caution now.

This guy is looking for people to send him their photos to look at the product's efficacy, if anyone is interested:

Yes I've been looking every day for weeks. I heard it should be available on the 20th but no joy. There is a page but it says unavailable.
I can't even find the page.

His website states:
"Once you qualify for the 3G FUE procedure, and we agree on expectations, there is no doubt that you would be pleased with the result. On that note, yes I do offer a safety net for my procedures."
Have you reverted back to him, and said that you are not happy?

Used too little number of grafts so that the transplanted region looked very "see through", charged me "per hair" rather than per graft, and gave me a hairline I was thoroughly dissatisfied with. Was really really unhappy.
Gosh, that's not good. Do you have photos on this forum? What did he charge you?
Charging per hair is a bit of a concern. I don't see what difference it makes when a surgeon transplants a follicle with 1 hair or 4 hairs. Surely it is the same amount of work?
I was seriously considering him, so I enquired as to what his minimum fee would be, and the response I got was a bit of a red flag in my honest opinion. His website states that the cost starts at £5K, but the person who responded to my enquiry said the cost starts at £6K. When I questioned this, I was told that the information on his website was "generally speaking".

Also the price seems a little steep 🙃
True that.

Judging by the lot # maybe it's manufacture date was march of 2022 but who knows. Typically minoxidil will last 1-2 years in solution (assuming a vehicle of polyethylene glycol, alcohol, and water like basically every solution is) but I'm not sure what effect dutasteride has on the minoxidil. Worst case scenario it would lose potency.
Thanks, hope you are right.
I definitely won't be buying products from that site again, though, as the least they could do is put an expiry date on their bottles.

Id avoid him - had my first transplant with him and was thoroughly dissatisfied (esp considering he charges per hair rather than per graft) - go Turkey and save yourself a lot of worry
Bloody hell, what happened?

Anyone know why Dr Reddy was removed?

I take it the European clinics generally charge less than the ones in England?

Same here.
I initially thought about getting it done here for convenience purposes but this is a lifetime commitment, you really, REALLY want to get this right. If it has to be through the inconvenience of having to fly in between surgeries so be it, at least you'l have been made sure to get great results. So flying for De Freitas next month.
Certainly food for thought.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Another concern that I have, though, is, if they screw it up outside of the UK (I'm sure no surgeon is infallible), it can be a lot more difficult to bring a professional negligence claim, if not impossible.
-
How did you deal with travelling with signs of surgery on your head? I take it you can't wear a cap etc.?

Very true that.

Indeed. I nearly feel off my chair when he sent me that. I was pretty unimpressed by one the result videos he sent me too.
Dr Tam wanted to charge me £8,000 (possibly more after surgery) just for my crown area, which has some very minor thinning.
Dr Bisanga's team quoted me less than £3,000, and he is probably more skilled, and has a much better reputation. In fact, I think that quote may have included what I wanted done in my temples too.
