  1. I agree with this last picture. Two thousand grafts are like an area of 66 cm2 with 30 grafts per cm. I hope they can extract more if needed. I think you should leave the temporal reconstruction and focus on both lateral sides + a decent connection with the frontal hairline. If some grafts are over left, they should use those for the frontal hairline to make it more symmetrical. Your donor might take a hit but you can always do an additional smp at a premium clinic which will improve the overall; significantly. Your hair skin contrast ratio is relative low which gives you an advantage.
  2. I advise keeping your hair long, with no haircut, until you meet Dr Zarev. Keeping your hair long gives more information about the coverage/hair structure, which is essential. If you feel insecure about your hair and have a meeting with that woman before meeting Dr Zarev, you can use some premium concealers to decrease the balding effect. I hope this helps you take care.
  3. I hope that Dr Zarev can help you. For me, he is the number one doctor in the world. He showed me back then many incredible comebacks which I could never expect from any other doctor in the world.
  4. It looks perfect. You are going to be a solid NW 1-1.5. If they give you the option to do a touch-up in 9 months after the first procedure, do not hesitate and take it
  5. You already made the best decision by choosing Dr Zarev. I recently (1 week ago) started with oral minoxidil after my second procedure with Dr Zarev. I currently use 2,5 mg oral minoxidil once a day Lonolox brand Pfizer. It's too early to talk about the sides. So far, I haven't noticed any side effects. I was lucky I never had any side effects with finasteride. I have been using oral finasteride since early 2021. So my current protocol is 2,5 mg minoxidil and 1 mg finasteride a day.
  6. As a patient of Dr Zarev, I assure you no technician touched my head. He did all the extractions and implantations by himself. His current price is 5 euros per graft.
  7. If you want the best result and have the patience to wait a few years for consultation and surgery, I would go to Dr Zarev. You probably need between 9000-13000 grafts to become an NW 1. Dr Zarev is, in my opinion, the best hair transplant surgeon, especially with high Norwood cases.
  8. Most of the time, there will be some trade-offs in hair transplant surgery. For example, I have curly hair with an average graft density of 65 per cm2. The curly hair helps with the coverage, but my hair-to-skin contrast is very high. I have dark curly hair, but as a trade-off, my skin, especially my face, is white for a Mediterranean/North African guy. If you are, for example, Scandinavian blond, your hair-to-skin contrast is lower, which can help you get a nice visual appearance.
  9. You are an NW 1 for sure now Phenomenal result
  10. He showed me some tough cases in which I can assure you no other doctor could reach a similar result. It's a different league.
  11. I recently got my second procedure (2465 grafts). Before my first surgery (7235 grafts), I was between a Norwood 5A and 6. Looking nowadays in the mirror, I see a Norwood 1 with phenomenal donor management. His experience and technique allow him to extract significantly more grafts from the donor without any visual appearance. This gives him a huge competitive advantage compared to other doctors. He can make life-changing results for people who are NW 5,6 or 7 without even using beard grafts.
  12. I might do that after the second procedure. For personal reasons, I don't feel comfortable yet putting my pictures on the internet. However, I understand others can benefit from it, especially by deciding to choose a surgeon. Dr Zarev put a lot of examples on his website. My hair type and diffuse thinning looks a little bit like this case https://www.hairtransplantation.bg/index.php/bg/event/4450-Grafts I have curly dark brown hair with an average donor density of 65 grafts per cm2, Mediterranean.
  13. I started doing research in 2017 and looked at many physicians funny thing is that I am a physician myself. My biggest problem was that I was a diffuse thinner, so I needed an HT specialist to get the maximum out of my donor. I considered Couto, Lorenzo and Freitas back then, but my hair loss was progressive, so I was delaying it. Then in early 2021, a friend of mine who is a dentist was also researching and found a doctor called Zarev with phenomenal results on his website. His results blew me away, the best in the world. I never saw that kind of results before. So I immediately contacted him in early 2021 and did my consultation in September 2021. While I was waiting for my consultation, Hugo opened a thread about Zarev with a phenomenal result, this encouraged me much more. The consultation with Dr Zarev was very detailed. I had my surgery last July in 2 days he was able to extract 7235 grafts. The best money I ever spend!
