  1. How long do you need to wait until you can start lifting weights and running building up a sweat after major FUE surgery?
  2. Is it more complicated to have a hair transplant if your head is large? Do guys with small heads achieve better results?
  3. I recently made a regretful decision by shaving off my 4 month old beard just weeks before my surgery. I don’t want to take Finasteride until my beard grows out again naturally without the effects of Finasteride. Even though it isn’t fully proven, there is a highly likely possibility Finasteride has an effect on beard growth where the beard hairs might look thinner and patchy than if you weren’t using the drug. I want my beard to grow out long and thick/full again before I get on Finasteride which may take up to 4-5 months. Is it possible to still get a good result without using Finasteride until several months after having hair transplant surgery? I’m not saying I won’t ever take Finasteride, I will take Fin about 6 months after my surgery so I can catch up for the next 6 months. Is that entirely feasible without compromising the results? I’m having surgery at H&W with Dr. Hasson so the experience of the surgeon should be good.
  4. I’m having FUE hair transplant surgery at Hasson and Wong clinic very soon with doctor Hasson. Is this clinic good with producing high quality hair transplants or do I have a risk of getting a bad result?. I am terrified of getting botched and my hair looking worse than it was before surgery. I’ve heard great things about having a hair transplant in Turkey however I live in the USA and flying 14 hours to turkey isn’t convenient for me.
  5. How soon can you start working again after surgery? I am a real estate broker and manage my own company, most of my work is done on a laptop and I work from my home. Does looking at a computer affect the surgery outcome in anyway, do you need to keep the head straight or at a certain angle for a certain amount of days? What can I do and not do during the first several days after surgery? also do I need to wear a hat each time I go outside even if it’s night time during the recovery process? Is that a full month? The post op instructions say to avoid sun exposure for 6 months does that mean you can not go outside at all during the day for 6 months?
  6. If you are worried about balding you may want to start daily Finasteride after you’re 18 and you won’t need to worry about more hair loss later
  7. Even if you are in the earliest stages of balding you are lucky to have all this information at your disposal. When you are 18 years old get on Finasteride 1mg daily and you won’t ever have to worry about losing hair ever again. You will keep that state of hair for as long as you are on the drug.
  8. Based off these photos how many grafts does it look like I need to restore the hairline and fill in my crown?
  9. My head used to be just like yours, that isn’t a whorl it’s a thinning/bald spot and it will get larger over time. Look at how my crown looks 5 years later
  10. Compared to your first pictures which looked dense packed it seems the density turned out low, your hairline should have been much dense and thicker by month 8
  11. I have a scheduled hair transplant surgery at Hasson and Wong clinic I have several concerns, I still have a lot of existing native hair around my receding/thinning hairline and with the way Hasson and Wong clinic dense packs I’m afraid my existing native hairs may get damaged and suffer shock loss after surgery. Will getting a hair transplant just make my hair worse than my current situation?
  12. Does having a long beard affect the hair transplant surgery at all? Is it recommended to be clean shaven for surgery?
  13. Dude when you said were you 50 I was just shocked…these pictures look like a guy in his mid 20s…your hair is beautiful btw
  14. Wow you guys have a special eye for this sort of stuff 😄 I thought his hairline was just receding didn’t look like transplant
  15. Hey guys, I have a hair transplant scheduled in a couple months at H&W clinic in Vancouver Canada. I’ve been emailing back and forth with one of their employees, I asked them “How will the final graft number be determined?” Their response: “The final number of grafts will be decided by many factors which Dr. Hasson will determine the day of surgery.” Again I ask: “What factors are those exactly that determines the final number of grafts?” Their response was: “The factors that determine how many grafts you have will be the amount of donor hair you have and the amount of scalp laxity there is. They can usually only determine the final number once they are extracting the grafts and that’s why they won’t know until you are in surgery” This final response was very alarming for me, what do they mean they can only determine the final number once they are extracting the grafts during surgery?? I thought the number of grafts required would be determined from a visual examination of the scalp by the doctor BEFORE surgery not during surgery! And that’s also the same time when the doctor outlines the new hairline design and determine number of grafts at that time. Pardon my ignorance but am I missing something here?
