  1. Hey guys was just wondering at what point did you guys notice your transplant hairs to start thickening and really add into the density? I'm well aware the hairs start to grow between 3-5 months but I was curious at what point does the thickening of those hairs peak at? Thanks!
  2. Alright, thank you for the response! I'm on fin and will def continue to be on it for sure
  3. Thanks for the comments guys to ease my concern although that one dude does mention its thinning but I am on Fin and its stayed the same since i started. Do you guys think I should be using hair fibers or is it really not that bad yet to be using them?
  4. From all these comments sounds like SMP is obviously not the decision. However, since we are on the topic does SMP cause shock loss or what not? I always wondered that
  5. Thanks for the comment Melvin! So no need for SMP then?
  6. Did you not get on finasteride? I've been on fin for a year now and its stayed the same.
  7. Is my crown currently bad enough where I should be looking to get SMP? Obviously a hair transplant would be insane for this right? Thanks!
  8. Is it normal to have this little of growth at this point post op? I see so many fast growers online which is why it had me even asking on this thread. I will say since 2 weeks from those pics I have seen a few more vellus hairs
  9. My surgeon did make me aware of the possibility of shock loss and I came into it knowing of it. He honestly told me I didn't need a transplant but I'm an idiot that deals with a bit of body dysmorphia so I wanted to added density to the slight hair loss that I had. I was on medication so I assumed that if I had shock loss it wouldn't be very bad which seems to be the case. If you had to guess do you believe I'll be able to notice addition of density once I've gone through the next few months? My original reason for this thread was due to the slow growth and that if it was normal to have this minimal of growth around this time mostly due to so many early bloomers I see online. All in all thank you for your input!
  10. @Melvin- ModeratorWould love to hear your thoughts on this and as well if you could delete the first reply of pictures since its cramming the thread that would be great lol
  11. So I have 1 picture from immediately post op. Then I have 3 that were 3 days post op and then 3 that were 4 months post op which was 2 weeks ago. I'd say there is a little more vellus hairs since 2 weeks ago but not a lot. This was an 800 graft fue hair transplant. I wanted to add density to my hairline so I only needed a small transplant if I wanted to do that. I'm honestly worried because I did lose a tiny bit of native hair from shock loss so my hairline currently looks slightly worse than before and since there hasnt been much growth its stressing me out a little bit.
