Imagine having and account here and NOT taking finasteride + minoxidil. Bottom of the barrel IQ, shaving the head and even buying a hair system are much wiser options than a hair transplant for someone balding that doesn't want to take fin+minox for life.

Excellent hairline design! Temples are by far the most important element for a perfect hairline and the most overlooked at the same time. Your face will look much better with the new hairline and the framing provided by the temples. Happy growing!

So, are you sure he didn't shave part of his hairline for a role (like Brad Pitt in "Killing them softly"), didn't wear a hairsystem in the video's thumbnail just because the hairdresser messed up and performed a bad haircut (very common thing), and didn't just remove his widow's peak with electrolysis/laser? I mean, if this is a hair system: With those perfect micro irregularities, perfectly designed temples (which even some of the best hair transplant surgeons don't pay attention to), perfect density without looking uncanny and completely life-like, not row placed hair distrubutions...then we must find who made that hair system. Honestly, if I were high norwood and that were a hair system, I would buy one and not bother with a transplant until Verteporfin becomes mainstream and someone like Zarev or Munib Ahmad use it, so a result like Clooney's hair is possible with any starting point. I think the one in the video thumbnail is a hair system (goofy hairline design), but I believe he just removed his widow's peak and shaved his hairline to simulate a Norwood 2 for a role. IMO there's no way a hair system is this natural and well designed, and if it is, we must know the maker ASAP, as he even managed to make a buzzcut style hair system with the same realism: Honestly, that's what top tier hair genetics + widow's peak removal looks like, no way that's a hair system IMO.

I agree with @Melvin- Moderator, temples are the hardest to transplant and definitely something you don't want to skimp on. Feriduni is a true elite doctor, with plenty of high resolution, honest pictures with close ups of his work. Awesome surgeon choice!

Honestly, that is preposterous. His posts are always informative or contain great questions, and I haven't seen him advertise himself or try to make business here. Even if he were a hair transplant doctor (which I highly doubt), he is polite and his contributions are very good most of the time. And no, I'm not him or Alan Feller lmao.

FUE, but with a TOP surgeon, which is much more important than the method used. I wouldn't get anything done with a "decent" surgeon (does such a thing exist or is it just bad with low quality pictures?), let alone a terrible one. Best of the best or nothing 👍

Try 5mg oral minoxidil per day for a year, 1.25 (and 2.5mg) is too low AFAIK. Take them at night so in the rare case you have any side effect, it occurs while you sleep so you don't notice it. I'm on 1mg oral fin + 5mg oral minox per day with 0 side effects. I started 3 weeks ago, so too early to draw conclusions yet, but I'm starting to see fuller eyebrows and stronger beard hairs, so it is promising.

Very nice thread, and very informative. Beard to beard transplants are seldom seen or discussed here. I would go to Mwamba, IMO he's the better surgeon for scalp FUE and also has the best beard to beard transplant results I've seen to date. I've made a post about beards btw, this is it: I'm on oral minoxidil first to see if it makes a difference (at the moment I'm seeing some difference, but too early to tell, as only 3 weeks have passed) if it doesn't I'll also get a beard to beard transplant in the future.

I've been on 1mg oral finasteride + oral minoxidil for 3 weeks (2.5mg the first two, switched 5mg due to no side effects) and I'm noticing fuller eyebrows, even my mom commented on it. I hope it gives me full, thick eyebrows and new beard hairs. Will report back in 5-6 months. Atm, 0 effects on skin health and quality (and evidence suggests there shouldn't be any). I follow a strict skincare routine and diet tho.

Very good, definitely way better than a Norwood 2. More convex hairline shape (somewhat lower at the center than at the corners) would be textbook perfect, but that is so close to perfect that I doubt anyone would complain about it. That above would be perfect IMO but the difference is very small, I would have to hyperfocus to notice the difference. At first glance, any of those hairlines look like a "perfect, full head of hair" to me.

That crook knows what she's doing and does it anyway. Sadly, it's common. All doctors are the best in the world if you ask them. Only trust high resolution, honest pictures of their work. No good pictures? Run, as fast as you can, regarldess of price, reputation and apparently "ethical" speech. Good, honest pics with close ups = everything.

Haha true, most likely edited because it is from an editorial, but he has insane density and hair characteristics, this are non edited, candid pics: Genetic freak, he still looks exactly like that at 46 yo. He's late 30s-early 40s in those pictures.

What is even more shocking is that he's 40 on that front face pic. Actually he's 46 and still looks like that, dude didn't age a single day since he was 25. Extremely unfair existence ngl. Great theory btw, makes sense to me.

I agree with you completely, Melvin. I've studied facial aesthetics for the last two years, and the common denominator those people have is low body fat, strong jaw development, good eye spacing + how wide the cheekbones are and how long the midface is. For example, model Tyson Ballou has another hairline I really like, and it is asymmetric, with super strong temples, and actually high-ish set (forehead longer than midface). He get's away with it because his cheekbones are very narrow and his face is on the long side: Notice how the temples go past the eyebrows, yet looks fine from the front. Something very similar happens with Brad Pitt, albeit to a lesser degree. Andrey Gray has wider cheekbones and less prominent temples, so the lower set hairline suits him perfectly in comparison. Jake Gylenhaal has an impressive hairline and ridiculous hair characteristics too, another genetic lottery winner for sure. But yes, the average guy with a round-ish face needs to do some extra effort (be it in the form or weight loss, or even cosmetic surgery if needed) to rock a hairline like that as well as those guys. It's very sad but true.

Indeed, IMO those asymmetries look very natural with longer hair, and only noticeable with a buzzcut (and with a good eye for detail, I bet most people wouldn't even notice). The framing the temples and the widow's peak give are great, the chiseled face and strong jaw also help a lot with the perception of framing I guess.

IMO, no one has a better hairline than Andrew Gray: Actually low set with strong temples yet looks balanced, slight widow's peak is also aesthetic to me. Ridiculous hair characteristics too, one lucky mofo.
