It is mostly depended on the punch size and the extraction pattern. You cant compare the case of mr. rolandas with this case. Rolandas hat 6000 grafts per fue, this case was only with 1200 grafts.
I have seen many cases with Patients who got their procedure with famous doctors using small punches, and their scars are visible when its shaved. Ronaldas even had too visible scars during his first surgery with 3000 grafts, altough the punch size was quite small...
It mostly depends on the candidate, rather than on the punch size. Because you can see two pleople, who got their procedure with the same doctor with the same grafts, the one has more visible scars than other. Both will have scars when they shave their donor, while on the one might be more visible...because some people tend to have more visible scars than others. -
some people get more visible scars than others. FUE is not scarless, so its normal to expect white dots if you shave your head. I have seen similar scars to yours from Dr Bruno Ferreira who uses small punch... So it mainly depend on the candidate rather than the size of punch.

I would prefer Dr bicer. She's a very good and ethical surgeon providing natural looking results. Otherwise i would select Dr Pekiner

@FUECAPILAR usually responds to the patients....
All doctors you considered (Bicer, Yaman, Turan and Gur) are ethical ones and can give you a nice dense result..You can also check Dr Demirsoy he charges (1-1.5 euro/graft depending on his involvement on the procedure).
Keep in mind that you will need finasteride to stabilise your hair loss. -
You have got full head of hair now...great combination hair loss therapy and hair transplant...Dr Gur did a great job by protecting your native hairs during the surgery!

Well that angle is good, the front, if you see the next pics u see the lack of density and the patches. If you check my inmediate post operatory pics you see Couto put new grafts in all the area where my previous surgery was. Not as a touch up in specific places, but all around and inside the area. you only need to check my wet scalp from the top to see. And my shaved head pre-op reveals it very well.
Saying that I respeat for the 283762th time that I know it was not a dissasterย I know dissasters in hair surgery where you clearly see the guy was better before the surgery, and I was better after my suegery at HLC yes. Just not great as I thought I would be. And 3157 grafts for the small area they covered, plus not great survival... well, that is definitely a dissapointment.
I dont see any lack of density and pathces. Your result with HLC was great, and most results we see here on this forum are NOT better than the result you got. But the patiens had realistic expectations, so there was not any problem.
I do think that you have unrealistic expectations and you think you will achieve native density with one procedure. Anyway thats my opionion, we dont have to agree.- 2

We had this discussion in the previous thread but in here the pics are even better.
This is not a repair, independent what Couto writes on his OR report (This can easily be politics). Your hair in the pre-op pics (2nd surgery from Couto above) look great. I understand the demand for perfection (more density, temple work), as I have this itch myself. But calling the first result a disappointment is not right and gives wrong expectations for newbies.
Nevertheless: The new hairline design looks very good (but also very aggressive) and I am sure it will come out great. But you have now used almost 5000 FU while being 30 (?) years. It is a risky path as most people continue to lose even when on FIN.ย
I dont think its a repair procedure at all either. I actually findย great the result from HLC to be honest with natural angles and good density. If i was in his case, i wouldnt do a second procedure because i dont think its needed. But anyone can do whaterver he wants.

All 4 surgeons you mentioned (Gur, Turan, Demirsoy, Yaman) are great and they would give good a nice natural looking result. I think you should compare their results and select the one you prefer mostly.
BTW how many grafts did dr Demirsoy suggested ? -

I've spoken with many of the recommended surgeons from this forum , but all are either booked out until 2025 or dont respond to inquiries.
Anyone know of surgeons that have availability soon? I would like to get this done inbetween some work trips , leaving me with jan-feb 2024 as pretty much my only options.
Im in the US , willing to travel (but hopefully not as far as asia) . Budget is around 10k and I need somehwere in the nieghborhood of 2.5k grafts.
Thanks for any suggestionsThere's a lot of good surgeons that you could consider depending on your budget. Some options would be: Lorenzo, Couto, Ximena Vila, Freitas hans heinicke in Spain, Pinto, Bruno Ferreira in Portugal, Bisanga, Feriduni, Lupanzula, Mwamba in Belgium, Pekiner, HLC, Gur, Turan, Yaman, Demirsoy, Bicer In Turkey, Laorwong in thailand, Eugenix in India.
If you are in US you can easily go to South US to Dr Pittella in Brasil, Dr Luis Nader in Mexico, Dr Camacho (Bogota hairlines) in Colombia... -
Great progress so far for 3 months. Your result is going to be awesome on the next months ๐ Keep us updated!

Happy growing...11.000 grafts in a 2 day session is a big number...Dr Pittella's techs are able to extract 5000-6000 grafts in just one day which is impressive !

@Dr Resul Yaman is around your budget and he would implant you 4500-4900 grafts in one sitting. Then for better density you may need another one but a first one with this amount of grafts would be a good start. Other options could be Dr turan, Dr Gur and Dr Demirsoy...all of these doctors are in Turkey and in all procedures the doctors do the most critical parts providing natural looking results. Good luck !

Coming up to 5 months on Wednesday so thought Iโd share some updated photos.
Visually itโs really starting to take shape, the hairs still very fine although my natural hair is anyway but still hoping for it to thicken up. I can also feel and see lots of stubble hairs.
The crown still concerns me but again can feel plenty of stubble so preying it starts to fill in soon ๐ย

Waiting for your new update...Great progress on month 5...on month 12 its going to be awesome ...๐ฏ๐

Yes you are 100% correct. I emailed them and the doctor mentioned its completely normal however i will bring it up again when i go in few days
their guaranteed growth is 90% however this is definitely lower than 90%ย
so dr Fereira said you thats completely normal to have lower yield?? I dont think thats an ethical response...Also i cant understand why he charges so expensive his hair transplants when he cant guarantee the high yield of grafts and he doesnt even offer a free repair?
-
You are better than before, but the outcome is not the one you should get and it seems that you have lower yield and survival of grafts in some parts. The doctor did not offer you free procedure for the lower growth ?

Looking very good !! Massive before-after difference...Enjoy your new appearance!! ๐๐ฏ

Amazing result..Dr Demirsoy's work is really impressive...๐

Thanks for updating us. Your result is really good and natural. Massive improvement...Congrats ๐๐ฏ

In general with all eugenix packages you would be fine. All Eugenix doctors use the same methods and they were trained in the same way. So yould select the lower packages either with Dr Das or Dr Soumesh and save money

Again as i said to you before, let people see the pictures and judge from their own. You can say black is white and white is black for whatever reason you have but i am not willing to believe you.
Yes people can judge i agree...I am not willing to believe you either, you can say whatever makes you happy for your own reasons.

You really can`t compare these two cases. This is a NW-7 patient and these 13.000 grafts were uses not only for the front but to cover the front, midscalp and a huge crown. If we had the total breakdown of the grafts i am preety sure that the number of grafts used from Dr. Zarev to cover the front and midscalp were about 6000 grafts.
Also we don`t know how many from these 13000 grafts were bodyhair and how many from the scalp grafts were splitted in order to create more grafts.
They are similar cases with similar low lateral humps. if the op would use 13 k grafts then he would have high density. With 4500 scalp grafts he cant expect miracles and high densities...beard hairs do not give good ceverage like scalp hairs and they dont behave like scalp hairs( for example you cant comb the beard hairs easily in one direction etc..). Also Beard hairs have a shorter anagen phase and may be in a catagen phase, which means less hairs on the scalp every time.
Also in the Zarev's example all 13.000 grafts were scalp hairs, no beard hairs as he says on the video.
So definitely the op's result is pretty good considering his large area and his low lateral humps.- 1
