Between all the bs we have to wade through with these coordinators, to reading up on the Drs. I got lost.

I've 90% decided on an actual Dr vs a clinic type with bunch at once.

HLC wants 12.5k USD, HOI said 7k USD, and it goes on..

Oh! Long Hair Clinic was best quote. But said over 3000 grafts needed. And they want to use DHI per the Dr rec. Idkkk about that. Shouldn't it be other way around, especially for large spots.

Idk man, I need some guidance or help with a good place. I'm not wanting to go budget but I'm not reach. Just don't want to ruin myself.

    Thanks y'all

HLC is a great clinic, in which the procedure is all done by doctor. It has many great results on the forum which you can search about.

Other good and safe options in Turkey would be Turan, Gur, Yaman, Demirsoy, Bicer, Bekir, Keser, and Pekiner. Their prices start from approximately 1 euro/graft.

In general you need more than 6000 grafts, which could be done in 2 hair transplants.

WAAAAHOOO! My procedure is booked for March 3rd - 5th! The flights are purchased! The cat has a cat-sitter!

If you can't tell, I am very, very excited to finally be doing this! 😀👍 The 5th is my birthday and I can't imagine a better gift to myself than taking this huge step to finally putting hair insecurity behind me.

All the best..Looking forward to see your hair transplant progress 👍

@wembley sure thing. I’ve been wanting to post but haven’t had the motivation. My result is coming along really well. Crown isn’t fully filled in, and this was in line with what Yaman said to me before the transplant. Still have more time to go for me. Here’s some candid pics of my hair today, haven’t done anything to style it. Overall incredibly pleased with my result.

That's an awesome result from Dr Yaman. Very good to hear that you were totally pleased with your result..Enjoy your new hair 👌

  4. All three doctors are great ones and you will be in safe hands with them. Dr Yaman is a great surgeon with more patient cases on this forum and the majority of them are great ones. So Dr Yaman would be my first choice then Dr Turan and final Dr Gur. Do your research and you will find a lot of great results and satisfied patients from Dr Yaman.

Hi all. I've gotten a consultation from Dr.Nadar and he recommends 3000-3500 grafts, costing about 12500 USD. I'm wondering about options say in Turkey or anywhere for that matter for lower costs. Any ideas or recommendations?

12500 usd for 3000-3500 is too expensive.
Higher price doesn’t mean you will get better result.
you could go to absolute hair clinic in Thailand to doctors like dr laorwong or dr RATCHATHORN  for 2€/graft or In Turkey to doctors like Pekiner, HLC, bekir, bicer, Gur, Turan, Yaman and demirsoy with prices starting from 1 €/graft.

Appreciate the comment, but honestly for me this is very far from good! I don't believe I had unrealistic expectations either

For 6 months is good, but still not perfect. You still have time for improvements.
in every hair transplant if you over analyse your result you will not be satisfied. Anyway you should wait till 12 months and see if there still something you want to change.

So here is my 6 month update.

I have my thoughts about it. I also have my thoughts about some of the communication I've had with HLC. But for now I'm just genuinely interested in seeing what happens in the months to come and of course, receiving some impartial opinions/advice from the good gentleman of the HRN. Will probably share some neurotic ramblings at a later point, but I don't want to influence what people think here... so for now, please just shoot. Tell me what you think - how am I getting on?

(Pics taken in what I'd call, average lighting.)

Your result looks pretty good and you still have 6 months for more improvements. Enjoy your new hair 👍

Hello guys ,I’m new to the community

i m a case Norwood 2/3 and 55 years old ,I’m looking for help ,advice

I’ve talked to many clinics in turkey but it’s too confusing ,I don’t want to take risks ,I know going to what they call hair mills can end up very well in most of the cases,

but it’s a coin in the air

and I don’t want to wait fir months. for Pekinner for example

what about doctors keser and bicer ? Are they really trustworthy in terms of natural work ?  I need new hairline and also my hair is thin in the middle ,some doctors want to put more hair among my thin hair .,,some others told me not to touch that area  as existing hair  might be damaged

I d appreciate some advice . thanks a lot I ll show you my pics

Dr Pekiner is the best one in Turkey. The other too that you mentioned Bicer and Keser are also very good doctors.
Other good options that you could consider in Turkey and they have doctor involvement in all of their hair transplants and they provide natural results are Gur, Turan, Bekir, Yaman, Demirsoy and HLC.
So in general theres many options to consider depending on your budget.

That’s fair enough, can only apologise if that’s the case. 3 is still a lot given Yaman tends to do very large sessions 4,5 even 6000 sessions . I’d hope for the days which see large sessions the number of people is lowered.

I don’t think 3 is a lot since he isn’t doing the extraction and implantation.  Incisions do not last long time.
Also His 6000 grafts procedure is splitted in a 2 day session (3000 graft each day).
top surgeons like Freitas and Lorenzo do 3-4 patients per day and they only do implantation and their price is 3-4 times higher than yaman.

I went the same day as @NorwoodSlayer69. Currently just under 4 months after the HT. My donor areas appear to be fine. Extraction was done by a separate Doctor and an assistant. Dr Yaman's involvement during the process was incisions and would come in and out every so often during the implantation.

I've only noticed 3. Me, Norwoodslayer and another guy that was in my taxi. Spent most of the time in a room so don't know who else was there.

In dr yaman patients threads I have seen patients telling there were in total 2 or 3 people per day which is perfectly normal. In one dr yaman’s thread there was only one patient that day @Timothy

top surgeons like Freitas, Lorenzo etc do 3-4 patients per day and you pay 3-4 times higher price than yaman.
