  1. Hair looks good mate, you have adequate density at the front so if he wasn’t going to do any work in those areas, makes sense to go partial shave. As you’ve said you can flip your hair forwards. I wasn’t as fortunate I had more aggressive hair loss so opted for complet shave look. Looking forward to seeing your results develop. Should get stunning density along with a natural look. I think you did the right thing by going conservative with the design too. Probably why he was able to dense packin
  2. He is super chilled Archan knows his stuff, takes pride in his work and you can tell he wants to become regarded as one of the best. It’s nice to see other patients posting their experiences. And I wish Dr Mittal the best.
  3. Redness subsided around month 2-3. And then I started to notice some growth. Was very concerning at the beginning because it was sparse and irregular hairs coming from different locations. As you can see it was like Norwood 3 entire frontal 1/3 pretty much. I’d say at around 6 months you get some improvement. But for me I felt at 9 months or really started to look good. It keeps getting better as time carries on. I’m taking finasteride and don’t feel like I’ll need another one anytime soon.
  4. Ahhh sorry to read about your first procedure. Finasteride is very important. A game changer in many circumstances. You have a fairly gappy hairline, assuming what was once there no longer is. at the end of the day as long as your surgeon has filled you with confidence that he can do the job whilst setting out what is achievable then good luck to you mate. Did a quick search on the doc seems good, but he also worked for dhi.
  5. Baal you should do the same. Get a feel for what it is you want to achieve and then you can narrow your search. Again don’t know your circumstances but if Dr Mani was on your shortlist for consults, maybe you can do what “my dad is bald” did and ask for a rebait against a procedure. Sometimes you have to connect with a surgeon and see how you feel about them and if they’re actually going to take your concerns seriously and if what you are asking for is achievable according to them. don’t get sucked into the free consults with the sales guys who pose as hair specialists. You need to have a in depth conversation with atleast 3 surgeons. And it should be the surgeon. And if they are not the right fit for you move on. anyway good luck and I look forward to watching your journey. Forums can be hard place to navigate I struggle at the best of times.
  6. Good luck bud, I’m sure you’ll have a great experience. You’re cheeky to ask for that, but hey ho. You should put up what your goals and objectives are for other members of this community to give you some feedback to. I can’t see that you’ve done that as of yet.
  7. The advice I always give fellow hair loss sufferers wanting a ht, is simply to go and have in person consults, get to know your surgeon. It shouldn’t be rushed 30-60 mins face time discussing things with your surgeon should be the only way to approach this procedure. It doesn’t really matter who you go to, as your doing solid research and it’s brought you to good conclusions. But take your time don’t feel rushed. You should also be able to connect with your surgeon as you’ll be on communications with them over the next couple of years atleast. all the best
  8. No I don’t believe this to be correct, he doesn’t virtual like I did for 30 or so mins at a reduced price and then an in person consult which cost £150. He’s the only surgeon that gave me an hour during consultation and felt unrushed. Ask as many questions as you want and he encourages it. Then go away and think over the information he’s given you. I barely got 10 mins with other doctors. Although they were “free” consultations
  9. I can sympathise with that view as you have previously been hurt by a different surgeon. So I can understand the anxiety it may cause. After all that is said and done, as long as the people themselves getting a procedure feel good after that in itself speaks volumes about a prospective doc.
  10. And as above I have not been incentivised, I’m just a happy patient and enjoy the fruits of having a fuller head of hair and the confidence it’s given me.
  11. I am really disappointed to read this. I always knew of keyboard warriors but as above. Dr Mani has asked me if I would be happy to post on the forum. And so I did. As have many of his patients. I’m not sure why there is so much animosity towards good doctors who offer high quality service to their patients. Comments like this is what puts others off coming onto forums and posting in the first place.
  12. Sound advice mate if I’m honest you get a feel for the surgeon. How they make you feel how they present and especially if they recommend speaking to other people. Can’t do you any harm.
  13. No idea I’d assume his website or Instagram.
  14. You are on for some very good results, your donor looks strong and your density is very good. Look forward to following the journey.
  15. Hi yes I’ll get some more pics on here sometime this week. Umbrella because it’s London and can rain, button up shirt so don’t need to pull a T-shirt over your head after otherwise can pull off grafts. And yes if it’s Sunny makes sense for sun but I assumed due to potential rain.
