  1. Hair will mature so the visual effect will get better, some hair can still pop up although at this stage probably not so many. You can try to draw (with a marker) a 1 cm2 square on the transplanted area and count how many grafts are in that square - then you will get an idea what density you have achieved and whether the surgery was successful. if at that stage there are significantly less grafts visible in comparison to the number that was implanted then there is a high chance that something went wrong.
  2. Your donor looks impeccable. To give some kind of comparison - not every story ends so well, this is my donor after only 2500-3000 grafts:
  3. This is amazing for such an early stage. I think we can say this will be a homerun, congratulations!
  4. Looks great! Were all extractions made before implantations or were it done more like doing some extractions, some implantations and everything again? Is time with grafts outside of body more important when doing donor restocking?
  5. There is a significant increase in the visual coverage, congratulations! So what exactly can be done with folliculitis? You've mentioned that your gf doesn't even know about your HTs so how does it work?
  6. Since we don't know an exact mechanism of loosing hair there is no straighforward answer. We can probably assume that you body has periods in which your hair loss is more and less agressive. So if after those 10 years his hair loss is not more agressive (than it was before taking meds) then I think his hair loss won't catch up that fast as you described. On the other hand, after those 10 yeas his hair loss might be more aggressive and then the outcomes would be different. I think we should think about it as non regular process that is really hard to predict.
  7. It's not bad but the density could be better, you should wait until 9th month and then assess your situation, hair will mature until then and the visual coverage will be better for sure. Who was the surgeon?
  8. I don't want to generate too much hype because it's still early but it looks amazing for only 4 months!
  9. Sure, I am not here to attack anybody either, it's just a matter of stating the truth and hoping that something can improve. Unfortunately there are more than "three people" that are not satisfied and I even mentioned those cases in the previous post. It's true that hair transplant clinics perform a lot of procedures per year but it refers to most of the clinics and most of reccomended clinics don't seem to have so many negative feedbacks in such a short time.
  10. Well, there are first procedure cases which didn't go well too: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/65602-dr-mwambas-fue-2200-grafts-work-7-months-review/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/66589-1935-graft-fue-hair-transplant-nw2-dr-mwamba-brussels/page/8/ and there are simple touch ups which didn't go well: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/67566-repair-procedure-7-months-can-i-expect-much-more/ and there are repair cases from @Ajamilo@HappyMan2021@RTC who have their complains about their density and growth percentage. In comparison, there is simillar (or smaller) amonut of success stories from independent reviewers. This ratio of successes and failures is just worse than in other recommended clinics and that's a fact. Maybe Dr Mwamba indeed have too much work, in addition working in the night must make him and technicans tired (and then people make mistakes easier) and long time with grafts outside of a body doesn't help too. Of course we can argue that this style of working doesn't make a difference - but again, the ratio of successes and failures speaks volumes.
  11. @SteveUrkel02 I have the same feeling and that's what I meant before: Should a clinic like that be recommended on this forum?
  12. Could you post more pictures with hair styled upwards but without weighing hair down so much with your hand? So we could see how your density looks behind the hairline
  13. In those pictures it doesn't look bad, maybe just the hairline isn't that dense. Doest it look more sparse when you look at it in different conditions (different than in photos)?
  14. This is unbelievable, congratulations! It's crazy that some people struggle after failed procedures to restore their hair when from NW2-NW3 and here we have basically a total restoration from NW6 with only one procedure. Edit: @mr_peanutbutter Exactly, I wonder about that too, how can Zarev be so good when other surgeons (even top surgeons sometimes) struggle to restore NW2-NW3 with a proper density.
  15. Well, I understand everything you wrote and I agree, however it's not exactly what I meant. Dr Mwamba is the recommended surgeon on this forum and it's not only about @RTC critical review but about that there are more and more worrying reports from many people. Thats why I think it's the topic that should be concerning to the whole forum community because the forum recommendation might be misleading for newcomers.
  16. Maybe Dr Mwamba should be notified about the issues so he can address them somehow. Maybe he can talk with his team about the poor communication and not keeping promises. Regarding cases with a poor growth, perhaps it's about optimizing clinic's workflow and reducing the time when grafts are outside of a body. @Melvin- Moderator, could you talk with Dr Mwamba about it?
  17. Well, I really hoped that Mwamba could be the best doctor for my repair surgery but after so many testimonials of negative experiences from patients who trusted Mwamba (and praised him at the beggining) it just seems like playing Russian roulette. Considering mixed results, problems with achieving a proper density, lack of free touch ups offers when a growth percentage is subpar and a poor communication, it's too much in my opinion. I feel like an opinion about Mwamba being one of the best doctors appeard way too quickly on the Internet considering that not many cases were documented by his patients. Then this opinion was repeated again and again, until it was checked in real life by more patients and now it seems not really acurrate.
  18. It looks really good for 3.5 months, however we still need wait until 5-6 months to speculate about the result, fingers crossed!
  19. @RTC Imo you really don't need to rebuild it from scratch, in this case you can see that angles are still pretty vertical as they were at the beggining and it looks natural. The removal of grafts in this case was performed to move hairline higher and you don't have this problem. It's all about proper density (to guarantee lack of see through effect) and soft (single) grafts in the hairline.
  20. Well I believe that Dr Bisanga mentioned that high regrowth percentage that he achieves regularly is guaranteed because of minimal grafts manipulation and optimized time outside of body. Maybe Mwamba's style of work is effective for some people (performing procedure really slowly with grafts outside of body for a long time) but some have more "fragile" grafts that can't be outside for so long and that's why we have some cases from him without achieving satisfying density.
  21. Looks clean, you have to be patient, more significant growth should occur around 5th (or 6th) month.
  22. @Yan bio Well, we have some cases on the forum that were not satisfying for patients who had procedure with Mwamba: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/67566-repair-procedure-7-months-can-i-expect-much-more/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/63234-dr-patrick-mwamba-fue-clinic-1300-grafts-5th-6th-of-july-2021 https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/65602-dr-mwambas-fue-2200-grafts-work-7-months-review/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/64494-dr-mwamba-june-2022-asli-tarcan-botch-job-repair Even some representative cases are not that dense: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/33417-my-whtc-dr-mwamba-3585-grafts-by-fit-shaven-6months-post-op/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/40267-my-whtc-dr-mwamba-2041-grafts-fue-by-fit-shaven/ (the left corner)
  23. @knivesout09 Did Mwamba offer you a free touch up since the regrowth rate is low?
