  1. Actually no, I think with celebrities the clinics don’t treat them like an average patient so even an average clinic will give outstanding results for them They don’t need to do research like us 🥲
  2. 3k is a lot of grafts. What a waste. You should mention the clinic name so others can find your post and know to stay away. Your donor is also B word
  3. Keep us updated. I am interested about Bicer results
  4. Trouble with that is his hair would change appearance drastically to super dense with hairpiece then his natural hair would look completely different with HT. It’s hard to hide something like that and a huge commitment once you’re seen with a hairpiece. I only wear hair concealers and it’s a struggle because now the people who have seen me with toppik will be shocked to see my thinned bald head then again with toppik. That beats the whole purpose of using hair concealers. Just think he should be aware of the commitment both hairpieces and concealers require more so hairpieces because you become a nw0 and then can’t go to a balding nw3 or 6 or whatever he is right now. Even you said you let everyone know you’re wearing a piece so the pressure was off
  5. I believe only doctors that pay the inclusion fee get included in this forum recommended list but he’s high rated. As for Turkey, I would feel comfortable with Dr Turan, Dr Bicer, HLC their gloveless technique is great and the other high rates are Demirsoy, Pekiner and keser though i haven’t seen their technique so can’t say. Dr Gur is also recommended but again haven’t seen his technique. Dr Bisinga in Belgium is also great though very expensive.
  6. It seems the high rated surgeons don't place grafts on gloves anymore and either use a choi pen or take the grafts from the solution direct before implanting to avoid drying. I am sure you get good results but it's still exposing the grafts to risk.
  7. I disagree with this statement. Hairloss is a deformity and your life suffers extremely badly with it. I wish I cared about my hair when it wasn't so bad but I neglected it and not focus on it.
  8. Afro hairs are tricky due to difficult extraction from what I read. So you need a doctor that is good with extractions. The only budget options I know are in Turkey, Dr Turan, Dr Bicer have good technique, other docs that have good ratings are dr gur, hlc, Demirsoy, Pekiner, keser I don’t know how they are with Afro hair though, all the European ones are so expensive. Dr Bisinga is exceptional and dr mwamba is also known for Afro hair (had a really bad growth with one Afro patient here though) but they’re the most expensive docs There are other good doctors but they will break your bank and you only have 6k budget so Turkey seems your only option where you will have a decent result and not get butchered
  9. Minox is a scalp irritant, I would avoid it for at least one or two months
  10. I checked his method and he uses a Choi pen it seems without the gloves. You’re going to have a good result for sure. check out my thread I recently made to understand what I am talking about
  11. Seen Demirsoy and Keser recommended often, no clue about the others you mentioned.
  12. Yeah, people with lower norwoods don’t need to worry so much, they have so much donor zone, even a mediocre surgeon with mediocre survival rates will give good results. Plenty of lower norwoods come out happy from hairmills for this reason. I was researching this for myself since I am nw6 and every follicle is important for me 😁 Did some more digging and Dr Pitella also uses a pen (not sure if custom or the dhi Choi pen) and no gloves method. He has some amazing results posted here of high norwoods, also does dense packing. H&W which are highly rated here (haven’t seen their results personally) use a really weird ring type thing lol it must be wet for follicle to be happy in though I can’t really tell. So far the doctors known for great results with higher norwoods all seem to be using pen or handling hair follicles without placing on gloves. I am going to see HLC, Pekiner, Demirsoy and some more surgeons methods tomorrow. Annoying to browse through tons of videos of patients results to see surgery videos (not always posted unfortunately)
