  1. @Fox243I honestly feel if you have enough money , irrespective of your nationality you will be able to marry. Or may be try cracking a govt job. My uncle was a Norwood 3 when he got married at 35 so i dont think it's an issue. Also if you continue being on medications you can maintain whatever you have for a good period of time assuming you are NW3 or less. With proper styling it's easy to get away. I am a NW2 diffuser at 25 and up until perhaps January nobody commented on me getting bald that's all.

  2. @Z--Thanks for the response. I don't know whether my hair loss is agressive or not. I started balding 4 years ago. I was NW1 at that point with no thinning nothing. I have had a stressful period during July - December last year which was where i believe my hairloss picked the pace. I first went for topical finasteride and Minoxidil and now after 3 months of that upped it with oral finasteride and topical Minoxidil. Mt hairline doesn't look bad there is thinning but my scalp is diffusely thinned which is what I want to improve. Hopefully i can thicken and maintain for atleast 5-8 years.

  3. Your mid scalp can definitely thicken with minoxidil and finasteride and if you respond well you might even not need a transplant there in future. As for the surgeon not putting grafts in between the hairs i am not sure he might be planning in a long term way hoping medications can probably thicken them. But your crown needs a future transplant because i honestly don't think medications can do much there at this point. As others have advised try Microneedling as well. The depth of the needle can be anywhere between 0.5mm to 1.5 mm depending on your pain tolerance.

  4. I have a similar case like yours may be a tad better. I was too thinking of doing a transplant before i bumped in here and realised my situation could improve tremendously with medications and a good diet. I mean you can still opt for a transplant but take the medications for 8-10 months and see for yourself. People who are way worse come back from the dead. Transplant you can do anytime assuming your donor is good. But if you do make gains from medications which you certainly will i believe it's better to avoid a transplant and be on medications. Good luck.

  5. Just a quick update. I will be starting with the following from tonight onwards.

    Finasteride 1mg everyday.

Topical Minoxidil 5% twice a day.

    Dermarolling thrice a month.

I talked to a local Dermatologist she was also suggesting me for PRP along with the above regimen (not including dermarolling). What are you thoughts on PRP for my condition? Is it worth giving a shot?

    Thanks.

  6. @MazABI have ordered a dermaroller. I would probably be using thrice a month depending on how i tolerate the pain. Also adding some multivitamins and Vitamin D .As far as transplant is concerned if i do make gains from the regimen then i believe transplant might become more difficult because the space available between hairs would then decrease and transplant can be a risk and might damage the native hair but if i just happen to maintain what i have then i am hundred considering hair transplant at Eugenix as i am from India and Dr Sethi is from my native state only. But first I need to give medications 8-12 months to see where i end up. Thanks for the response.

  7. I myself am a diffuse thinner starting medications from tomorrow. Give time to medications if the recession isn't that bad. At the same time try to get in touch with a good HT surgeon who can asses whether it's DPA or DUPA. Transplant in case of DPA is possible but very difficult to perform if the thinning isn't extensive while in case of DUPA transplant isn't recommended because the donor is affected as well. In any case DPA or DUPA medications work really well from what I have gathered. Good luck.
