  1. @Fox243I honestly feel if you have enough money , irrespective of your nationality you will be able to marry. Or may be try cracking a govt job. My uncle was a Norwood 3 when he got married at 35 so i dont think it's an issue. Also if you continue being on medications you can maintain whatever you have for a good period of time assuming you are NW3 or less. With proper styling it's easy to get away. I am a NW2 diffuser at 25 and up until perhaps January nobody commented on me getting bald that's all.
  2. Yes but also depends as to much the hairs have miniaturised. If you are able to see fringes of thin hairs on your scalp then yes good chance it can reverse them into being thick but if they are far gone then no nothing can turn them thick.
  3. @GatsbyMy hairline has receded from NW1 to NW2 in the last four years but my whole scalp has diffuse thinning. My left part has less recession compared to my right side. My donor seems very thick though.
  4. @Z--Thanks for the response. I don't know whether my hair loss is agressive or not. I started balding 4 years ago. I was NW1 at that point with no thinning nothing. I have had a stressful period during July - December last year which was where i believe my hairloss picked the pace. I first went for topical finasteride and Minoxidil and now after 3 months of that upped it with oral finasteride and topical Minoxidil. Mt hairline doesn't look bad there is thinning but my scalp is diffusely thinned which is what I want to improve. Hopefully i can thicken and maintain for atleast 5-8 years.
  5. Your mid scalp can definitely thicken with minoxidil and finasteride and if you respond well you might even not need a transplant there in future. As for the surgeon not putting grafts in between the hairs i am not sure he might be planning in a long term way hoping medications can probably thicken them. But your crown needs a future transplant because i honestly don't think medications can do much there at this point. As others have advised try Microneedling as well. The depth of the needle can be anywhere between 0.5mm to 1.5 mm depending on your pain tolerance.
  6. @Z--If i respond well to DHT blockers for how long can I keep my current hair?. I am a NW1.5-NW2 diffused and 25. My paternal grandfather was NW5A at 54 ,my father is NW4 diffused at 58. All my paternal my uncles are in the range of NW2-NW5.
  7. You can go for HT as your age is quite good and your hair loss is very much stable. Although it isn't necessary.
  8. In India Eugenix or Dr A Poswal should be your choice. Eugenix is currently the best in terms of results. But Dr Poswal has a good record although not recommended here he is one of the pioneers in the field of HT in India. Apart Dr Garg i haven't even heard of other Drs you have mentioned. Good luck.
  9. You seem to have stabilized your hair loss so i don't see any problem in getting your hairline reconstruction. But before that why not go for Microneedling along with minoxidil for the crown.
  10. Long hair style honestly if the transplanted area isn't large.
  11. Regret from not starting it one year earlier. I am still not very bad but definitely not as great as two years ago when i noticed thinning and didn't seek treatment.
  12. @BambooIf you are a NW7 then definitely go for the premium package or above. I think Eugenix has some of the best NW6-7 results.
  13. Is it possible to not shed?. Or shedding happens for everyone. I was using topical fin/min for 2 months but recently switched to oral fin and topical min. During my use of topical fin+min i did shed but this time i didn't.
  14. I have a similar case like yours may be a tad better. I was too thinking of doing a transplant before i bumped in here and realised my situation could improve tremendously with medications and a good diet. I mean you can still opt for a transplant but take the medications for 8-10 months and see for yourself. People who are way worse come back from the dead. Transplant you can do anytime assuming your donor is good. But if you do make gains from medications which you certainly will i believe it's better to avoid a transplant and be on medications. Good luck.
  15. Just a quick update. I will be starting with the following from tonight onwards. Finasteride 1mg everyday. Topical Minoxidil 5% twice a day. Dermarolling thrice a month. I talked to a local Dermatologist she was also suggesting me for PRP along with the above regimen (not including dermarolling). What are you thoughts on PRP for my condition? Is it worth giving a shot? Thanks.
  16. I honestly would suggest you to try medications. Finasteride and minoxidil for a year because you might as well recover some hair which will lessen your graft requirement and donor will also be preserved for future HT if you ever need one.
  17. @MazABI have ordered a dermaroller. I would probably be using thrice a month depending on how i tolerate the pain. Also adding some multivitamins and Vitamin D .As far as transplant is concerned if i do make gains from the regimen then i believe transplant might become more difficult because the space available between hairs would then decrease and transplant can be a risk and might damage the native hair but if i just happen to maintain what i have then i am hundred considering hair transplant at Eugenix as i am from India and Dr Sethi is from my native state only. But first I need to give medications 8-12 months to see where i end up. Thanks for the response.
  18. @Gabreille Nelson Mukhia Thanks for the response. I have seen your transformation on you tube. But i guess I can't consider a transplant right now because of my pattern of baldness being diffused. Hopefully meds can bring it back to a position where i won't need one.
  19. @Eugenix Hair Sciences I understand. Hopefully they don't thin more. And hopefully i would gain good density in the midscalp and crown. I am trying not to stress over it. I feel like I can make good progress. Thank you for the response.
  20. @Eugenix Hair SciencesAppreciate the response. There was some minimal thinning in my hairline. The temples are pretty much present but i could see some minimal thinning there too. I was hoping finasteride could thicken them😅. But if my baldness doesn't progress then too it is a win for me.
  21. @Eugenix Hair Sciences Does the combination help in increasing the density in the hairline area?
  22. I myself am a diffuse thinner starting medications from tomorrow. Give time to medications if the recession isn't that bad. At the same time try to get in touch with a good HT surgeon who can asses whether it's DPA or DUPA. Transplant in case of DPA is possible but very difficult to perform if the thinning isn't extensive while in case of DUPA transplant isn't recommended because the donor is affected as well. In any case DPA or DUPA medications work really well from what I have gathered. Good luck.
