  1. Yes, anal sex increases the risk of transmission, but the bolded portion of your response is also very much a part of this. The average gay dude has many more options than the average straight dude. Women are far more discerning with their sexual partners than men are. Gays still have bathhouses with completely anonymous glory holes and what not. It's not hateful to say so, they're open and proud about it. If anything, it would be "denying their existence" not to acknowledge that is very much a part of (some portion) of the gay populations lifestyle.
  2. Not getting morning wood and/or having ED problems doesn't necessarily (in fact, it probably doesn't) speak to low-T. Now the low libido does, but I just wanted to mention that because there seems to be a misconception around that subject at times. I had the same sex drive and same ability to gain muscle/strength when my ED was at it's absolute worst. I'm just putting this out there because it's worth noting.
  3. I'm not "enforcing my worldview" on anyone. I'm simply stating that killing people for words they say is a basic moral wrong. And that moral wrong is universal and those that think you should kill others for words don't just have different beliefs than I do, they have much, much worse ones. And I'll stand by that until the day I drop dead.
  4. Doctors don't have magical knowledge or a monopoly on basic common sense. He's not having serious adverse side effects so for him to cut the dose back to 1/4 of what he's now taking would be perfectly reasonable.
  5. He was dissing America for having slavery 150+ years ago, meanwhile he lives in a country where people are put to death for "blasphemy." All while acting like he was being attacked for being from Pakistan when I never attacked him at all - much less for his country of origin. Killing people for words they say is insane and barbaric and I'm not going to pretend it's not just to Molly-coddle some self-righteous tyrants. Yes, I'll go on the record and say that if you support killing people for words they say (or alleged words they say as in many blasphemy cases it's just hearsay that gets people put to death), you're a monster and those laws and any like them are stone-aged nonsense.
  6. It's pretty long ago, actually. Like long enough that no one alive today even knows anyone that was enslaved. The guy was acting as if slavery or near slave conditions are a thing of the present too, which is absolutely not the case. Furthermore, American slavery from 155+ years ago has nothing whatsoever to do with a him being insulted for being called a non-slur Arabic word.
  7. After this verbal destruction I dished out to @LookMaxxlast night, I'm surprised he'd even consider creating a second account. It's ironic that he throws salt in the wounds of America racial history by needlessly mentioning slavery - thereby pushing an anti-American narrative - yet feels he's being attacked for his Pakistani-ness. All that despite the fact that I stated as clear as day I've only ever encountered a handful of people of Pakistani origin and had zero issues with them. I never mentioned sentencing people to death for blasphemy, murdering your daughters when they "dishonor" the family by being rape victims, or harboring terrorists like Bin Laden - and all of these things happened recently or are still happening in Pakistan. American slavery is 155 years in the past.
  8. You may be more likely to get sides if you focus and worry about sides, but that doesn't mean it's all psychological. Also, how many times can this same question - or a variant of it - be asked? I mean it's virtually a daily occurrence on this forum where someone asks about fin sides. People need to read the literature and use common sense.
  9. You don't have to be a Dr. to have basic common sense. He didn't say his heart was racing or that he wasn't able to breath. If he's having a non-harmful side effect, but wants to continue taking the drug he has 3 options. One, he can continue taking the drug at the current dosage to see if the side effect goes away. Two, he can discontinue the drug notwithstanding his desire to continue. Three, he can lower the dose and see if the non-harmful side effect goes away.
  10. Take .625 mg for a while to see how you respond to that. The chances you have sides on that low a dosage are very low. Or even just cut down to 1.25 mg.
  11. I completely agree that it was absurd to think the first procedure would do the trick. Although our hair thickness isn't the same and our recipient areas are bound to be different sizes, my procedure (2660 grafts) turned out quite well - and that's roughly the number you now have. I'm not saying that means this follow up procedure will do the trick, but perhaps that could help you hold out some hope.
  12. Knowing what I know, I'd say you should really try oral minoxidil and see how you respond. Or topical in conjunction with derma rolling. It could be the case that you respond so well that the crown is improved to the point that you'd be in good shape.
  13. Even if you only liked to have medium length hair (think Captain America hair length) it will probably take 8 months or so until the transplanted hair is long enough to really come close to matching the length of the rest of your hair. I'd imagine at 6 months it would be long enough to blend decently given that you didn't have any lowering done.
  14. You can get ED from Fin or not get it, but you can get it and still have the drive and still be the same testosterone filled you that you've always been (ED aside). And the sides are reversible through the right means. And @LookMaxx, you're wrong to completely push aside the idea of side effects. They happen and just because you didn't suffer them doesn't mean others haven't. Also, you referencing some guy on this forum who supposedly got dumped by his fiancee (in part due to his baldness) is completely inane. Who knows if that story is true and who cares. Your username betrays your judgement. Sure, we should strive to look our best (I sure do), but to literally be so obsessed with it that you make it your username and act like "nothing" can give bald dudes confidence is ABSURD. I'm sorry you lost your hair, but that doesn't make it right or reasonable to talk as if all dudes who lose hair are finished. They're not. As for the topic, now that topical fin and topical dut are available, those seem like a good choice for someone dead set against oral fin. Also, this topic has been talked to absolute death. It's everyone's own personal choice what decisions they're willing to make, but asking random people on the internet whether you should take a risk to jump on fin is childish. As is this inane hypothetical scenario. If someone were to be bald at 50 or 60, jumping on fin would be ridiculous. It would be pointless. Likewise, if someone cared deeply about their hair and felt they were losing it, it would be somewhat crazy for them not to try .5 of fin and work their way up. Or at least try nizoral. Nothingburger hypothetical solved.
  15. Is this some play on he word "which" and a reference to the Salem Witch Trials?
  16. Honestly, no clue. I always wear my hair medium length, so it's no issue with me. Even in the Army I never had a buzz cut or very short hair. I can say that the scar hasn't widened (despite me doing dumbbell presses starting 6 weeks post-op) and that's good enough for me.
  17. Thanks Gatsby. Funny to learn new Australian slang. I feel relieved that I can go back to living as usual, honestly. The transplanted hair just keeps getting more and more similar to the rest of my hair. I look forward to it matching in length and being just a bit thicker. Hope things are going well with you.
  18. No one should be on 10 mg oral minoxidil for hair purposes. That dosage is for people with high blood pressure. And 5mg is really pushing it too. Anywhere from .625 mg to 2.5 can be effective. If not very effective. And far less likely to cause side effects than the way-too-high dosages listed in the above post.
  19. Hope yours is progressing smoothly. Did you go to Bloxham too?
  20. It looks fine. And the hairs on that side likely aren't quite long enough to really be combed/parted that way yet - hence some just stick up. And texture and thickness should continue to improve over time.
