  1. mmmh that's what I thought even in my first response to Johnny but the conclusion from more experts on the topic is "your call, you can chose between creatine or saving a few years on your MPB"
  2. Yep right, he also does not make definitive statement He takes Dutasteride so I guess a DHT increase is not that important anymore, but personally I'm not needing Dutasteride yet
  3. Matt Dominance and Hair cafe are the 2 youtubers I trust the most about Hair Loss Both seem to say that it should be ok, notably the second video I sent talks about the difference between scalp DHT and serum DHT The issue is that a lot of people do report that creatine literally destroyed their hair, is it really the reason or not I don't know I guess that there is still no definitive answer on it and every guy with MPB should evaluate if it's worth the risk or not For me it had definitely an effect on my workouts and athletic performance but my face looked puffier (when I gain weight it tends to go straight to the face), so I always had a love hate relationship with it. Also you lose the bulky aspect after a few weeks not taking it and you will also gain 2-3 kg on it Even when I type those lines I'm torn apart if it is a good Idea or not to take it Ideally I would like to switch to Tongkat Ali and drop Creatine, that's the why of the thread
  4. It all comes from one study done on young guys from 18/19 years old, so they actually don't know if it was really the creatine that made the hair-loss progress or if it simply due to the fact that people with MPB can lose a lot of hair at that age.
  5. Creatine does help a lot indeed and I think that the increase in hair-loss it's supposed to cause was debunked Thanks for your feedback
  6. It's not that I need it, it's purely to improve my athletic performances and general well being. Did you get noticeable effects from these 2 plants?
  7. Hey guys, I would like to try out those 2 natural supplements that are supposed to be good for daily life and lifting (and sports in general). They both raise Testosterone (for Tongkat Ali supposedly without raising DHT). The issue of course is that I just had a HT and I'm only 29 so I'm asking myself if it would be a good move? I take 0,5 mg/day of Fin but I don't know if it make it safe to raise my T. Anyone has experience with those supplements? *Image is only illustrative I'm not making an advertisement for any brand in particular
  8. 5 month + 6 days update Photo with the hair still a little bit wet to change a bit I feel this last week progress has slowed down a little, I hope a lot more thickness is still to come
  9. Yeah I won't say "don't watch your hair just be patient" because you most likely will watch your hair 😁 But just don't get too impatient for the 3 month mark as for me it nearly only started approaching the 4 month mark
  10. I take fin 0,5mg/day, no side effects at all (starting just a few weeks before the HT, I know this is a mistake but I do not suffer from an ultra aggressive loss) Anf foam minoxidil only in the evening
  11. 5 month updats It's really coming into it's own, got a few compliments in the last days Under natural light it's still see through but a lot of improvements still I think it could look like a never HMB by the end of september
  12. Not gonna lie for 6 month and a half it's not good, if you told me last picture was 4 months after the HT I would have believed you But we see improvement between the 2 last pics and maybe african american hair grows slower (don't know about this one) I also saw cases where the 6 month result was nowhere near the end result, so you should keep faith if you picked a good surgeon
  13. I went with Yaman I'm nearing the 5th month mark so it would be too early to judge If you have questions do not hesitate
  14. Yes, the good times will start for you bro Good for you that you stayed calm, I knew about the ugly ducking phase but still panicked. But that's why I'm keeping this thread alive, to give confidence to people around that 2-3 month mark who start doubting
  15. 4 month + 25 days It's still improving when looking back a few days behind. It's not where I would like to be when there is strong lightning but when it's dark even outside I got a "It looks good bro, looking like the hair you had at 20*" Still hopes it gets thicker and keeps improving for another 3 months or so If I had to rate my HT results now I would give it a 6/10 *I'm 29
  16. You should give it a try if being bald is really bothering you, but I wouldn't expect too much either
  17. Well as we had kind of the same growth timeline I hope to still see a few improvements between month 6 & 10
  18. 4 month + 20 days It keeps improving, noticeably better under natural lightning BTW never said it but I went with Yaman
  19. You probably are at 95% of the final result right now and it looks more than good, especially coming from elithair I don't think you need a second HT you shlould save your grafts as your still young
  20. Looks great bro, indeed our 4 months pics look similar I already had more grow these last 2 weeks than the whole 3rd month post op How many grafts did you have implanted? I had 3750, I think you're in that range too
