  1. Many surgeons use machines like this which use suction. It’s a vacuum pump that is build in the device to get the blood sucked out of sight. The same suction lifts the graft a little bit up. Doesn’t improve the extraction proces. It just helps with visibility.
  2. Thanks. Patient education is more important then looking only to the age as a number. Some patients wil loose hairs faster even though there age can be higher. Also sometimes a balding crown effects someones life so much that using a economy of grafts and get someone life back on track, even though he wil need a second transplant in the future, is better then leaving him with nothing. It all depends on donor management and leaving enough grafts in the bank for the rest of the scalp. If that mismatches, then it’s definitely a no go.
  3. Definitely no need for fibers. Have a look at the crown results posted by my patients.
  4. As always i show close ups like you've never seen before. Soft yet dense. I perform the whole surgery myself. Shaving, punching, extracting, making sites and placing is all done by myself. My assistent sorts the grafts and helps me during placing. Also every contact made with my clinic is directly with me. I answer all the calls/emails personally. Aftercare is direct contact with me through WhatsApp. The surgery started at 08.00 and finished at 14.45. Only 2440 grafts were used to get him 15 years back in time (despite him having a white beard now). Before: Hairline design: After (1 year): Zoomed in: Slicked back: Close-up's: Warmest regards, Dr. Munib Ahmad.
  5. Here is a video of the combthrough. As you can notice, it is even hard to get through the hair with the comb due to the density.
  6. Way to aggressive even if you are on meds, have no active hairloss, or even no hairloss in family history.
  7. Yeah sure. Good you asked, because this it what everyone should ask for before booking a transplant. See videos below for a comb through, slick back and the donor area. Patient is only using minoxidil at the moment. Slick back:
  8. Patient has very light blond hair. But that doesn’t matter at all. Watch and enjoy, just like i did when he stopped by. Photo's are taken with slightly wet hair as you can see. With dry hair it even looks fuller. It is important to show the hairline up close. This makes the difference between an 'okay' and a perfect transplant. Aftercare is direct contact with me through WhatsApp. The surgery started at 08.00 and finished at 14.30. Only 2530 grafts were used to get him 20 years back in time (although he’s just in his 30’s). Before: After 15 months: Close-up’s: Warmest regards, Dr. Munib Ahmad.
  9. I asked the patient to make a comb through, but it’s very difficult to get a comb through this type of hair. Instead of that we have a video where the patient goes through his hair in very good lighting.
  10. Around 200 were placed on the crown. 2500 for the front. It is important to show the hairline up close. This makes the difference between an 'okay' and a perfect transplant. Before: After (10 months): Donor area short haircut: Hair combed back: Close up's: Warmest regards, Dr. Munib Ahmad.
  11. Shouldn't be any problem to implant hairs on top. Some small hair could go away of shockloss, but you can encouter this with new hairs. And you were going to lose these anyway in the near future. 2500 grafts should be enouh for crown midscalp.
  12. Here’s some eyecandy for you guys. Enjoy. Most of the repairs i do are one-surgery-repairs. Unless patients want to undergo multiple surgeries to get rid of all the bad hairs, this is a way to get someones life back on track with only one sitting. I removed the wrong angled multi hair grafts in the hairline. These hairs are replaced with the right singles in the right direction. The first surgery was done by a clinic in the Netherlands. It is a pity that when you look at the results on the website of this clinic, you can already tell that the outcomes are unnatural in every way possible. But due to posting only low quality images from the right angles they can get away with it. Always, always make sure you have close ups before you decide to book a surgery. 13. 1. Hair is hair, doesn’t matter what color. 2. Yes, but depends on the characteristics and expectations. 3. You can send photos throught email for a quote. (Info@fuegenix.nl)
  14. Disclaimer: Patient did not want to get the previous hair transplant totally undone or/and get the new transplant higher then the previous transplanted hairline. He wanted to keep the same position of the previously chosen hairline. No family history of hair loss. Patient is taking meds for his future hair loss. Photos are taken by patient so apologies for the quality. The difference is immense. The harshness of the temples has been replaced by natural softness, in one go. Most of the repairs i do are one-surgery-repairs. Unless patients want to undergo multiple surgeries to get rid of all the bad hairs, this is a way to get someones life back on track with only one sitting. I removed all the hairs from the temples. These hairs were multi hair grafts, growing in every direction. There is evident cobblestoning an pitting which indicates wrong depth of the placement. The chosen hairs had a much faster growth cycle then the original temple hairs. Also you can see the coarse appearance of the hair before the repair, which indicates trauma to the hair root during implantation. 15. I don't think there is thinning of the donor area. These kind of thinner spots are common seen with your type of hair. The hair gets clustered and due to the clustering it looks like there is some thinning. Also due to the lenght of the hair it gets pulled a bit which gives the same effect. Furthermore the root of this type of hair doesn't have much of a curl so you don't have to worry about that.

  17. Photos are taken by patient so apologies for the quality. Hopefully when we meet again I’ll take good photos. I am certain that on high quality photos the artistry comes more into its own. 18. Yes, crown in planned. Most patients plan the second procedure at the time of booking the first due to the waiting time of 10 months.
