  1. It's great that you are attentive to these small but significant details. Regrettably, many individuals are unaware of these aspects and often end up with unexpected outcomes due to wishful thinking. Great job on bringing this up, keep up the good work!
  2. Hi Delta, Thanks for the nice words. Imo the hair needs to have a max micron size + max flexibility to ensure it looks 100% natural. That’s why I don’t recreate temples with every hair type. I have my own ways of measuring the suppleness. The depth of the incision at the temple area plays also a very big role in making it look natural. I’m writing a textbook about it which i will publish in the future. It’s a guide for patients to follow to ensure that they get a natural outcome.
  3. Sneak peak with a normal quality pic just received by the patient. 7 months post surgery. Before:
  4. Yes, more or less. I will update this thread soon with the result of the third transplant.
  5. From Mad Scientist to Rockstar. My apologies for the difference in lighting in the before pictures. I took these with my iPhone camera, because the DSLR was full. Pictures are taken 1 year post surgery. I combed it open in all possible ways to show the density. Please take note of the quality of the pictures. In my opinion, every surgeon should post pictures of this high caliber so that the patient can clearly see what they are getting into. As a patient, do not settle until you have seen good quality pictures of the results. A total of 2500 grafts were used during a one day FUE surgery. The surgery started at 08.00 and finished at 14.00 I am responsible for performing the entire surgery myself, which includes shaving, punching, extracting, making sites, and placing the grafts. My assistant helps me by sorting the grafts and providing support during the placement process. In addition, all communication with my clinic is handled directly by me. I personally answer all emails. For the aftercare, patients have direct contact with me through WhatsApp. Before: After: Wet: Zoomed in: Slicked back: Wet hair: Close-up's en comb through wet and dry: Kind regards, Dr. Munib Ahmad.
  6. Same speed as the rest of the scalp. And when done correctly you can even have a full crown at 5 month mark.
  7. It’s always nice if patients are willing to share their journey to help others. If patient’s are willing to do this, I definitely support this. There is never a financial discount or any form of compensation from my side. And the result is gonna be fire anyway.
  8. Hi, Most of them are already happy with the first session. Some come back for a second session or a third. Almost all patients have more then 4000-5000 grafts left after I've done the first surgery. So there is definitely room for that. It's up to the patient when he'll come back.
  9. Hi Archan, For now he's happy with his look. It's a tall guy and nobody notices his crown. But most likely he'll come back in the future to fill his crown.
  10. The challenge of this case was to: Fill the front and midscalp in one sitting Use as few grafts as possible Blend it out in the crown as natural as possible. So it just looks like a small empty crown. Pictures are taken 1 year post surgery. I combed it open in all possible ways to show the density. Please take note of the quality of the pictures. In my opinion, every surgeon should post pictures of this high caliber so that the patient can clearly see what they are getting into. 11. No that's 3 singles which look combined because it's getting pulled up. You see that those hairs originate all separately from the scalp, thuss can't be a triple.
  12. I received these on 29 feb - 5 months mark. Patient is busy with some other stuff so he agreed I’ll update you guys. And a video:
  13. Just because a hair is in the telogen phase doesn't necessarily mean it cannot be extracted in the same procedure, as it is still connected to the same graft. During the procedure, I removed all poorly angled grafts from both the hairline and temple areas. However, upon closer examination, there is still a poorly angled triple in the hairline (where you can see the cobblestoning), which is why I mentioned in my disclaimer that repairs may not be as good as a normal surgery. I posted them in HD close-up's. You just need to believe what your eyes are seeing :P. In certain cases, if the hairs behind the hairline are not significantly damaged, there is no need to remove them as they will be naturally overshadowed by the density of the new grafts. Removing them would be a waste of money and time. I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. However, it's worth noting that your situation is not unique, as I've had many patients who have faced similar experiences and found peace once visiting us (not being arrogant). It's just the level of control one has while punching the grafts. If someone is able to successfully punch out poorly angled/scarred or kinky hairs in a single session, it's a testament to the low transection rate. This has already been demonstrated by us many times by using fewer grafts to achieve better coverage of the same area then elsewhere. The implantation in the same punched out area of new grafts is a technique that I've never seen anyone use except for myself. And yeah, incredible and impossible are definitely the words that are most common used as a reaction on our results, so thanks for that. I wish you all the best with your repair. I truly hope you'll be done with this soon.
  14. Well, it’s one of the clinics where often famous dutch people go to and exists more then several years. The problem is that they (and many others) post low quality pictures from preferred angles and get away with it. There is no secret. It’s in the touch of the hands ✋ 🤚
  15. The goal was to repair the failed hair transplant with plugs, scarring, and kinky hairs in a single session. (Usually it’s common that repairs are done over multiple surgeries) The challenge of this case was to: Remove all the kinky hairs (which are caused do to trauma to the bulbs during implantation) Also including the hairs of the temples. Remove all bad angled grafts. Remove the cobblestoning from previous surgery. Fill the same area again with good density on the same sitting. Which is made difficult due to the fact that we just made punchholes in the same area. Including the temple. (no stitching used) Use as few grafts as possible Leave no scarring in the transplanted area. We have to keep in mind that a repaired result is like making a painting on a used canvas. It's never going to be the same as a first surgery on a new patient. A total of only 2050 grafts were used during a one day FUE surgery. The surgery started at 08.00 and finished at 15.15. Patient was already using dutasteride for 3 years when the before pictures were made. I am responsible for performing the entire surgery, which includes shaving, punching, extracting, making sites, and placing the grafts. 16. Thanks. Will do. This patient was already on topical Finasteride and minoxidil for 10 months when the before pictures were shot.
  17. Great eye for detail Gatsby. Thanks for the kind words again ❤️
