  1. Cheers Ronnie, wishing you the best of luck with your procedure! I spoke with Eugenix and have seen their results, you have made a wise choice in Dr
  2. It is mental when you compare the 2 side by side 😂😂
  3. Yes if you look at the temporal areas post surgery you will notice a lot of red dots where many multigrafts were removed via FUE. there remained a reddish mark on the skin for about a month or 2 before it faded to nothing and I don’t see any scars at all. I prefer the fue method over electrolysis as you can reuse the limited amount of grafts we have
  4. Guys I actually found 2 other photos of what the hairline was like BEFORE the procedure with Dr Cooley. Please see below:
  5. Many thanks @Mycrofti totally agree with the points you’ve raised and my hair does tend to lighten in the sun which will help with the contrast and naturalness. With regards to product I actually like the effect of a wetter look product as it makes the hair appear more uniform and lay flatter to the head which is what I prefer. im excited to see further improvements on what is already an amazing transformation!
  6. Thanks @Mycroft I wholeheartedly agree and after walking around with such an unnatural hairline previously it is life changing what he has done. I notice that the hair colour is a lot darker and that also stands out a bit but I can’t remember whether this will improve and become lighter. Any thoughts as to how the colour will mature?
  7. Hi @hplant I had a recent fue repair procedure with Dr Cooley which involved the removal of grafts. Some were removed by FUE and some by electrolysis. I don’t see any evidence of scarring or evidence they were removed from 3 months onwards. You can see before and after pictures of this procedure on my thread. I prefer FUE so they can be recycled into the recipient site but I believe a number of grafts were damaged and unlikely to grow which is why they used electrolysis.
  8. 6 month update guys Again looking better everyday and I’m able to style my hair back now. Some redness remains and I believe once this fades it will be an impeccable result. Has anyone else experienced redness persist this long? Also I have noticed some shedding recently and think this may be delayed shock loss. Please do let me know your thoughts on this. Photos of hair combed wet and styled dry below:
  9. Hi @Whatever101 Nope this was just one procedure where Dr Cooley removed grafts via FUE & some electrolysis. Further details are noted earlier on in this thread. He did mention in our consultation that there might be a need for a follow up procedure to tweak things but this will likely be a minor surgery.
  10. @SamBoyi haven’t heard of Dr Vories but had a fantastic experience with Dr Cooley. Feel free to check out my thread best of luck in your decision
  11. By the way guys the reason I had to have this repair in the first place was due to a hair mill/hair chain I went to in NYC. It is a company that always advertises on Late night TV. What I’ve learnt is in life is usually that brilliant marketing is a massive red flag. I don’t want to publish the name of the clinic on this thread but for details please private message me.
  12. Thanks @Gokuhairline i have been on finasteride for 8 years 1mg every day. I had experienced more shock loss in the 2 previous fue procedures so I think it was more to do with Dr Cooley’s technique
  13. Totally agree @JohnAC71! I was reflecting back through this thread and appreciating just how much of a difference there is - Dr Cooley is clearly a wizard 😎
  14. Doesn’t it just @Berba11! I really think once the redness fades to nothing it will be an amazing result.
  15. Thanks @Curious25 will keep this thread updated and I’m excited to see how things continue to improve
  16. Thanks @bw77 I don’t think I did and if so it was very minor. I have been an avid taker of finasteride and believe I’m a great responder to it. My advice would be never to stop taking fin throughout the process.
  17. Some more photos with hair wet and combed through. I’m 9 days away from 5 month milestone
