Best repair surgeons for a third hairline repair?
HairNTear replied to coinflipdrifter's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
This is quite similar to my situation and Dr Cooley knocked it out of the park with the repair. I reckon he’s your man but go with your gut feeling following the consultations. -

Appreciate it mate! It’s less of a feeling of I have a great hairline but more of a relief that it’s natural and you aren’t conscious of people staring at it you know -

Just to give it time to heal, I think because that skin has had surgery several times it is particularly sensitive/inflamed -

Hi @twind its been a while since I logged on to the forum and noticed you are indeed in a very similar situation to me. I totally empathize with what you mean in terms of the unnatural look of the hair and that see through effect is just the worst. It’s the feeling that people are always staring at your head trying to work out what’s off. There is no point in trying to restyle because the hair simply won’t cooperate and wants to stay in the direction it was placed. I highly recommend going to see Dr Cooley for a repair. He was able to have a consult with me via video chat and then there was a cancellation so I was able to be seen before originally scheduled. Everything is taken care of from the Hilton hotel staff whom the clinic has a relationship, to the driver that picks you up and of course Dr Cooley and his team. You can tell they really care and are genuinely passionate about you. Shapiro, Konior, H&W are all great alternatives whom I also consulted with but ultimately Dr Cooley stood out as the right choice for me. I appreciate it feels pretty frustrating right now but just know that this can be resolved and a natural look can be achieved. p.s. my scalp still has a slight redness 1 year after my last transplant but it is barely noticeable. I will be posting new photos soon on my thread.

Thanks @harryforreal I’ll do the micro needling for a few months and hopefully that’ll improve the situation. if not I may consider the Genius RF, how much was it btw? -

4.5month update since last touch up surgery. As you can imagine I’m very happy with the results and the minor issues remaining are the redness which is painfully slow to dissipate. Secondly if you look closely you will see the skin has suffered some slight bumpy texture from all the trauma. Does anyone have advice/experienced success on how to reduce the appearance of these bumps? -

@ML488 thanks for your comment and yes you are 100% correct, I do even now suffer from a faint redness in the recipient area. This has always been the case for me after surgery. I seem to have particularly sensitive skin when it comes to redness and given the amount of trauma in that area from all the surgeries I imagine it hasn’t helped. It has been 4.5months since last touch up surgery so I’m going it to go away by the 6 month mark. -

Bad hair transplant! Horrible experience

I would recommend speaking with Dr Cooley as I understand he is skilled in transplanting Afro hair And @Berba11is right, it is not something terribly noticeable as a bad HT so don’t be so hard on yourself or anxious. the good news is this can be fixed in the hands of the right doctor👍 -
