By the way, @anotherhairlosssufferer, your hair is looking great. Well-packed in that frontal third and your donor region looks relatively unscathed. This is the exact procedure Konior quoted me and which I'm considering (trying to justify the price considering that, for only $3000 more than what Konior charges for 2000 grafts, I could have 4000 FUE grafts from a place like Hasson & Wong). The difference, of course, is that due to his artistry, precision, and survival rate, Konior makes 2000 grafts look like 4000.
how much did he quote you?
-
amazing result.
-
I think he will quote $20/FUE if he doesnt want you as a patient lol.

Well, I don’t believe Dr. Konior charges $15 per graft, that’s a blanket statement. There have been otherd eho are charged less, a lot less. He charges per job, not per graft.
I was quoted $12/FUE by Konior last month fyi. 1600 FUE

You can always shave your head bald in the end
I view HT as buying 20 years or looking younger. When you get to 70s, who cares. shave it all off at that point

looks great, and quite a conservative hairline as well!

looking forward to this

One of the GOAT hair transplants ever.
I've been following all three of your procedures. 10/10.
What did you end up getting your first surgery? I would love a hair line like you're. Do you have fine hair?
100%

i would use american express.
that way if they don't render services, you can call amex and issue out a chargeback

I understand that you may want any receding filled in. But the last thing you want is a symmetrical hairline. Your hairline now looks 'natural.' That's because it is broken up and uneven as you see in nature. Keep researching and all the best.
yea, everybody should have a hairline that fits them. For me I should stick to a conservative hairline to commit for the long haul. I disagree with a 18 year old hairline when i am 33 years old

So I received a follow up from H&W and they recommend 3000-3500 FUE grafts. Now I am really confused.
Konior and Nadimi both authorized 1600 grafts in the frontal area with a dense pack. H&W are recommending double. Two different answers from two top tier clinics.
really really confused.

very nice. I am considering H&W as well as Nadimi at the moment

It was ALT.
Alanine aminotransferase, is an enzyme found inside liver cells. Liver enzymes, including ALT, help your liver break down proteins to make them easier for your body to absorb. When your liver is damaged or inflamed, it can release ALT into your bloodstream. This causes your ALT levels to rise.

I have been following Juan Couto's youtube channel ever since that KPOP style hairtransplant video went viral.
All the results he posts are mindblowing and almost unbelievable.
Despite all that I have never come across anyone mentioning him on this forum or any post by his patients.
Also assessing ability from a doctor's channel can lead to false impressions because they might only post the best outcomes.
Would be great if someone who has gone under the knife at Fuexpert clinic can share their experience here.this video?

what is the exact enzyme?
Was it bilirubin? Mine is elevated as well, I take 1/2 tablet finasteride daily

@Rossybop Sorry I should have clarified, my natural hairloss is a NW3, now it looks a lot better, looks like I don't have any hairloss (idk if thats a NWO or NW1)
To be fair, my 1st HT was from a bad doc, I went with a cheap doc who was local to me. The density was poor. I made the mistake of allowing her to do a free repair job, so this was done 11 months after the 1st one. The 2nd one was not good, so the top-doc at the clinic I went to did a 3rd repair free of charge 11 months after that. I am satisfied after this 3rd HT. Its still growing in, but I expect a good result.
Perhaps I just got unlucky with my 1st 2 HTs, but after being on here long enough it seems really common to need a repair HT. Even Melvin the moderator here has had 3 HTs.
To be honest I'm too lazy to post pics here lol, but feel free to look at my post history. There are pics from my 1st bad HT. I finally feel good 2 yrs and 3 HTs later....but it was extremely stressful to deal with and the obsession I had about my hair increased 10x what it was before my 1st HT.
+1
pay up and find a reputable doctor recomended on HRN this forum.
I thank heavens i didn't go to turkey and mess up my donor. thank you!!

Thanks for the advice, everyone.
Dr. Konior seems to be a popular choice, even though he may be expensive. I don't think I've seen much other than good/great results on these forums.
I may have a look into his clinic, too.
I havent seen konior botch a procedure. ever.
Someone please link a procedure konior or nadimi botched?
The premium price being paid is a risk premium. You can go to turkey and go to the asmed clinic. What you dont see is the 3/10 procedures that have unsatisfactory results there. I dont know the exact %, but if a clinic does volume and has so many cooks in the kitchen there's variability.
For a certain clientelle, they would rather not fuck this up and pay upwards of $10k, $15k, $20k to do it right the first time with a Shapiro, Konior, Nadimi. $20k might be a month of salary to some folks. to others, it might be 5 years of savings. shrug

I asked myself the same question and it ultimately led me to book with Konior, even though he's one of the pricier surgeons out there.
You only get one hairline -- better to pay extra for something that will affect your appearance for the rest of your life (even if your hair continues to thin).
yep. it's an investment

What does he know about hair cloning and how close are we?
What is his surgery schedule like? Basically trying to figure out how long his wait list is. Does he do 1 surgery every weekday? or 3 surgeries (MWF) a week? etc
Yes, I would also like to expand that question to asking if there is any innovation they see in HT surgery in 2020 and the difference in trends from 2010.

1/2 tablet finasteride in conjunction with minoxidol
maybe a laser cap if you have the money
microneedling helps promote hair growth as well
Dr. Konior 2100 grafts December 2020

konior is at the top of prices but a couple things. It seems like konior uses less grafts per result. Also the donor region looks prestine after the surgeries that I see.
However, you are paying north of $20k for efficient transplantation and prestine donor.
