Man I’ll tell you. I was in your exact shoes in my twenties and early thirties. Thankfully I didn’t get a transplant because at 36 my hair loss rapidly progressed to now a diffuse NW 6. No idea what your age is but I assume your young. Just keep it in mind! Your hair looks good now. Good luck researching!
good to know!
i am 33 . I think I prevented a lot of hairloss as I have been on finasteride for 6 years now
my current hair regime is:
-daily laser cap
-1/2 tablet finasteride
-minoxidol
-microneedling the hairline twice a week
-ForHims hairloss shampoo and conditioner. I think it has Saw pametto
-Twice a week nizoral
may add topical finasteride as well.

I understand that you may want any receding filled in. But the last thing you want is a symmetrical hairline. Your hairline now looks 'natural.' That's because it is broken up and uneven as you see in nature. Keep researching and all the best.
ok will do

sorry brother
im guessing a technician was outsourced to do all of the work?
lack of density and hairline shape seem to be the cause of the unnatural result.
Im sticking with local. I'll happily pay $10k+ and do it right the first time.

How did you get a consultation with Dr. Nadimi so quick? Her earliest consultation for me is in February and I am about a day behind you of reaching out to her via email!
Same, im scheduled for Feb 2. In person in her office

I'm a 2x Konior patient. Just had second procedure. I also sent a friend to him, where Dr Nadimi performed the surgery and his results looked amazing.
There's a reason why there's a backlog for consultations ... Konior and Nadimi are that good. I've gotten to know Konior well over almost a decade. Based on what I know about the guy ... he wouldn't associate his name with anyone unless they were legit a prodigy.
If you're looking for savings, you can certainly find other docs. If you're looking for best-in-class results, then you go to Konior. Waiting sucks. All Konior patients have waited. But the long term payoff is beyond worth it. In terms of cost, too many people here focus on the # of grafts they get. There's so much more that goes into cost that goes past total graft count. Not to mention, Dr. K can make 1400 grafts look like 2500.
Aside, you're in an amazing spot for a HT. If you're not on Propecia + Rogaine, I suggest jumping on that now.
From my first procedure w/ Dr. K... You don't shop around after a result like that.
Good luck.
Thank you.
And I am glad I stumbled on to this forum. To think I was about to hop on a flight to Turkey and get a $2500 FUE like I was going to buy a watch or something.
This is surgery with major implications on your overall happiness and wellbeing from a self conscious and insecurity perspective.

I had an excellent virtual consultation with Dr Nadimi today. She was extremely professional and as her online reputation precedes, does not try to oversell. I would mention my quote but I’m not certain if posting prices is allowed here.
$8/graft FUE for Nadimi
$12/graft FUE for Konior.
That's what they told me

I just spoke to their front desk and I couldn't even book the surgery without going into the consultation. The consultation is about 4 months and $200 fee.

same office, but two different doctors

She is highly rated as Dr Konior would not allow anyone mediocre to be part of his practise.
However, she has about 5 years HT experience versus his 30 years.
She works in the same way as Dr Konior and does all the important steps. (Note that implantation is performed by technicians but is done under 100% supervision, i.e. the doctor makes an incision into which a graft is immediately placed - "stick & place".)
I spoke to Nadimi and she confirmed that she does the extraction AND implantation. hmmm. But maybe as a team with the techs. She will be in the operating room the whole time

another Diep case! Keep us updated on the results

What are you talking about, Dr. Diep does perform the surgery, he does the extractions and creates the recipient sites. He doesn’t place the grafts, and neither does 95% of the clinics recommended here. If Jim said he doesn’t perform the surgery that is a flat out lie. Best wishes on your procedure, but I cannot let false information circle around the forum. Enough is enough.
apologies, yes Dr. Diep performs the extractions but doesnt place the grafts.
Jim's results arent bad!
Right?
New to this Site. Looking to HT in the next 12 months

Given my hairline, i'll research more on custom hairlines that look natural as opposed to the hairline more suited for a 15 year old..
Also
what are your thoughts on this hairline:
Is it a good idea to be very very conservative with the hairline approach and try to tell the doctor directly?
