EDIT: From discussion with other forum members, assistants placing the grafts into the incisions is done at 90% of all other clinics. So I do feel better now. But that also does not change that coming to know this during the middle of the procedure was the worst part of the procedure. You can read further discussion on this subject in subsequent replies.
after reading more threads, i not gonna even risk this. pay top dollar and do it right the first time rather than revisions and corrections. Have the damn doctor do everything

I just reread your first post, the fact that you paid premium prices of $8/ FUE and the doctor did not perform the surgery is puzzling. I would be pissed actually... Konior and Nadimi would have served you far better imo. Konior quoted $12/ FUE while Nadimi quoted $8/FUE, all their hands extracting and implanting

Jim, thank you for this thread! I was seriously considering Dr. Diep but now i have filtered the list to doctors who perform the extraction and implantation and willing to pay a premium for this level of service. I think you were promised something and then expectations were not what you thought.
You helped me on my search!

Absolutely 👏 Look forward to seeing your result. You chose well.
I'll post my journey! Consultation is in February and surgery is in April or so

But I agree, a top doctor like Konior is a different product/level of service. He quoted me $12/graft FUE and is booked for 18 months! This is an artists handbuilding ferrari engines. I opted for his associate Dr. Nadami instead at $8/graft FUE and 4 month waitlist.
Both doctors hand extract and transplant each and every graft vs outsourcing this to a technician. I wouldnt bash either approach, but I consider this a diffferent service level being paid for. I opt for handbuilt vs outsourced due to the risk and my willingness to pay upfront and get the job right the first time

im reviewing these top doctor's work, Konior just left me in aww on his work. Look at the front hairline, it doesnt even look like this guy had a HT!

Ferrari vs four fords haha, i like that example. Konior charges at the top end so the results should speak

looks good, seems like Dr. Diep has a certain style both on extracting parts of the donor side instead of evenly rounding out the whole part and linear implantation. Would anyone consider Dr. Konior or Dr. Nadami superior in technique? I was considering Diep but I am finding more reviews that conclude what I am inferring to..

amazing results, I just booked a consultation with her. Dr. Konior is booked for almost 18 months 🤭. So he is having me talk to Nadimi first
-
nice post. I may go with Nadami and will post my HT in time

sounds good to me. I have an upcoming consultation with Nadami. The price difference between Konior and Nadami is about $7k 🥺

Like this post says, I am a NW 2-3 and looking at a couple of options for HT. Since I live in chicagoland I have been talking to Dr. Konior and Dr. Nadami and they are priced on the high end. Other options are Turkey and Korea but I am less excited at the propsect of 14 day quarintine and the risk of surgery and recovery out of the country. Any advice from you all?
