  1. Oh mate i hear you. I remember i was in a nightclub with a mate and not saying i was Don Juan De Marco but i was good with the ladies in my early twenties. Anyway, under a harsh light my mate was looking at my crown and goes, your going bald mate, my friends took the p!ss for a few years but they knew it upset me and in fairness they don't hammer me about it. Then from barber, work colleagues and people just looking occasionally you know what they are looking at, devastating is the only word but such is life. Going to save like anything and sort it in the next two to three years. if not will just buzz it and get a tan :-))

Your going to be just fine, i am watching your progress with interest as i am in a similar starting position to yourself. I may actually look for a less agressive hairline and make sure my crown is very dense and deep packed through the centre. Going to be a great result, i just feel it mate.
  3. Matt he had a transplant done, as stated if you look at hos twitter pics in the summer he shaved his head and in one pic it is particularly red and he has a hat on in most others. Not a huge procedure but has made a cosmetic difference.
  4. Check his twitter Tommy and his photos in the summer mate, defo had work done.
  5. Have not seen him but have you seen thee difference in Steven Fletcher?? He must have left his crown alone. Check his twitter and pics in the summer, buzzed and work done, Roger Johnson had one also.
  6. Superb result Dr DeYarman, really impressed, i expect his donor characteristics were excellent seeing the area covered with 4000 grafts.
  7. Superb documentation re pictures, excellent result, would love to go that route as i fear the dreaded ht re strip if it did not grow properly.
  8. Hey Matt, For me to do this i a taking VS and a year off before i go back into the workforce, i want to give the HT the best chance to succeed, it may sound mad to people that i am leaving my job for this but it is the only way i can afford it. I would think a month would suffice mate. I
  9. Hi Guys, Just wondering where is the best place to get Propecia online. I saw that online pharmacy do the 5mg fairly cheap so just wondering where ye get it from.
  10. First off you have come to the right place, your hair looks identical to mine was i was 20 that is 15 years ago, i wish i knew about or had the availability of propecia or even i wish it was available then!!!! Get a consult with your doc an get on the meds, propecia and rogaine. Is your diet good and do you exercise much?
  11. Dear Maeve, As you have seen fit to post a testimonial from the gleefully happy Mr Narain maybe you will also see fit to reply to each and every individual who has raised a concern on this thread. I believe a CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER it is the least you could do. There has been many issues raised on this thread and i am sure that it will be beneficial for so many to see this, lets hope people make the right choice.
  12. Very well done Mike. I am in the process of getting redundancy from my job and in truth i have an option to stay or go but one year out of my life for a positive result and in hand a positive outlook on life would be worth it. I really hope it works out for you.
  13. My two cents. I don't think your situation is as bad as you think, you can rock the shaved look and your hairline is good in relation to a lot of us, yes this will deteriorate but you are on meds so that should halt it. I think SMP would be an option if you decide to sort the crown as this will just give the illusion of using the shaved look, as i think your hairline is not bad at all. An example of someone slick bald getting a good result Check out Comb and Mitey Smitey who had procedure with V Hasson http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=7073&WebID= You are at a better starting point for me.
  14. Guys i just want to say thank you so much for the replies. The difference with this forum is that people truely care. I do believe a ht is the best choice for me if i really want to gain my confidence. The big problem is work but i could take a 6 mth career break which may help. The relationship was on and off for over four years due to her situation. It is gone now and i HAVE to try and move on as she is doing. Low yes but i am fairly strong mentally and i hope to pus on, get the right advice, go for my ht and move on and try to be happy. Thank you for all the replies.
  15. Okay, recently i have had a tough time in my life. I am just after finishing with a girl i dated for four and a half years so not good, that is really hurting me. Secondly i was in work today and i had to send a form for approval and it needed the approval of my manager with my passport id. "so this is what you look like with hair", why oh fooking why did you have to say that fella " you look so different" was another comment. Now i have been receeding heavily and i am fairly light in my crown but i do have hair and can style it, even though in truth maybe i should shave my head. I have been using rogaine and my crown has improved, not drastically but there is more hair. I have big enough ears and that is one reason i do not feel comfortable shaving my head. I am feeling really down about the relationship as well it was out of my hands, i still care for her and this hurts as she loved me for who i was, not my hair or lack of it. There is no way back though. At a guess i believe i would need between 3500-4000 grafts looking at similar hair to myself. I have around 16k euro-20k dollar available if needed. Not sure if that is enough, probably not. I would be looking at Hasson and Wong as my main choice as their results are stunning as well as Cam Simmons. I just hate my life at the moment. I am still not a bad looking lad but i have zero confidence. It takes me 30 minutes a morning to style my hair and really i don't want to get involved with a lass who sees me having to do that every morning. I will either shave it and be done and then feel a lot worse i would think or get a transplant done which i hope would be a success. I am hitting my mid thirties and would love to do this soon and enjoy the rest of my thirties and hope to meet a nice girl and just be happy with my life
  16. Goes without saying that’s the reason we have become World’s LARGEST Company in this segment. This was a comment in your initial post. Baldness is a sensitive subject for people this is why they will try anything. Ye have a marketing machine behind ye which make people believe what is said. Stunned to see Spex even spent money with them, sorry you did big fella. Funny, five or six years ago i thought of going there but thanks to this forum i have seen enough information to understand i would prefer a one all over rather than a rug on my head. I will get my HT and whether it is a success or not i know i will feel more complete and confident than i ever could what AHS offer.
  17. I have been thinning on my crown for a few years 7/8 to be exact, not totally bald but a lightening in the crown and a gradual thinning. At christmas i started using biotin but it did not agree with me at all, my skin became blotchy which never happened and i felt my thinning increased as i could feel the baldness after styling, it just felt like a circle on my head (which it is i suppose) two months ago i started on Rogaine and i really feel like i have improved immensely, just the feel of my hair feels better that circle seems to have gained loads of vellous and my overall feeling re my crown has improved. I am just wondering is it possible for full growth, i doubt it but has it happened??
  18. Jo i think there are hundreds of thousands of us that are pre ht that wake up in the morning look out, see a gale and think feck. I am researching like crazy at the moment. I am a nw3/4 and my crown is thinning rapidly, i was on propecia and i remember my barber telling me how well my hair looked around 3/4 years ago. I went off it, BIG mistake, i have a receding hairline but funnily enough that does not bother me as much as my gaping crown. It takes me min a half an hour to get ready in the morning due to my frigging hair. I was on a stag in Galway a few weeks ago and this lass sat beside us, she had a few beers and was well on it, she just goes, your cute but your balding, ARGGGGHHHH, thanks for that love in front of 30/40 other people, some people have no tact and are just insensitive beggars. What i love here is how understanding the post ht people are, we have all been there. Just contemplating telling my gf that i want a ht as i think she will think i am crackers. Wish me luck. PS, mind that lad in work.
