It’s funny ..you will totally forget about this incident in a matter of a week or so …but i hear you .i flew home to Dublin via Istanbul in 2019..I was sitting right opposite two Irish guys who had Turkish HTs ..one of them bumped his head while reaching across his buddy in middle seat to take his own window seat ..

@Cosmosdude I’m so with you with this I did precisely the same thing in Dec 19 on my way to airport from Clinic ..My surgery finished up around 7pm 23 Dec ..on my to airport approx 3 am morning 24 Bam !! Full force bump onto the inside roof of the small dinky cars they used back then .i was still a little groggy from the relaxers ..ultimately all worked out ok ..no blood Did the same Darn thing 6 days post HT 2 ( pic attached) ..drew a little blood but again all turned out ok ..bumped the head off a Door frame 5 ft high castle door 🏰 ..both occasions I was called out to mind my head ( the calling out is what caused the momentary lapse in concentration and subsequent bumps !! you’ll be absolutely fine …

If you do visit India again Melvin it will be will be for some R&R only as the HT end of things are now finally put to bed by the looks of it .. That’s precisely how a NW 1 would look if he got a comb and intentionally exposed his crown ..or thereabouts.. A delicious result thus far with a further cherry on top by 12 months im sure 👏

No problem ..what i meant was your scalp at Nine weeks is as it was Pre ( before ) you had youre procedure . Good luck with your in Coming result

Jeez a lot of us high NW s would kill for that Donor after 3 surgeries ..😀 It’s bothering you though so that’s all that counts ..is this not a perfect scenario for a spot fill of SMP ??

@Daryl..I’ve said this before ..waiting 6 months before you buzz be it guard or no guard is a joke you’re at 9 weeks …do whatever the hell you want too with youre scalp ..it’s at pre HT scenario

@finchyHaha you’ll be fine ..I was at a wedding 6 DAYS after #2..wore a Panama hat to protect myself from the hot southern French sun but flung that off in church and evening reception.. And of course bumped my head off 5 ft high French Castle 🏰 door frame .. 6 Months you could present the Oscars mate !!

@finchy..no problem mate ..id wait 2 weeks for your own peace of mind on a number 1 guard…my barber who buzzed mine had a HT and knows the score ..he went super light though it was 0.5 mm blade with me @ 1 month ..I went 0.5 to try and even out the ring of native hair always left along the horseshoe and lateral humps after a HT ( area where extractions were not done - safety zone) I forgot how much I like the buzz look ( with a hairline ) ..totally different story buzzed NW6/7 no hairline with horseshoe at back . You must be very excited …not many “ sleeps “ left now 😂

@finchy..here is me a day after 0.5 mm all over ..thought you might find it helpful to see how scalp looks month after procedure..total now 9K scalp . buzzing is how I deal with ugly duckling . you will be fine buzzing ..no worries

This was My donor at 3 months post 1st HT …4 k scalp grafts ago ..it’s amazing how the donor can bounce back for sure

@Berba11..cheers mate ..yes they seem to have pulled it out of the hat alright. Im no fool ..9k scalp grafts is no joke ..In any man’s language ..it simply has to be left in hyper elite clinics hands . Id argue this HT has been the toughest thus far emotionally..recipient ,hairline ,temple points etc .a walk in the park..it’s the donor im most caught up with . thanks for the feedback

Thanks @540Oak..have you thought of a possible HT / SMP combo ?? It’s something I’m considering for donor enhancement mid next year ..

1 month update Hi Guys ..the month has flown by .thought I’d attach these outdoor pics as real as it’s gets ..before I buzz to 0.5 min all over later today . The donor is in its early stages of recovery as is always the case with me ..mine tends to take 3 months to fully bounce back as Ive a little shock loss on high lateral area..not too worried as it’s always tends to repair itself along with the fact I’ve commended 2.5 Mg daily oral minoxidil after completing of the HT last month . Not much more to report .. Roll on month 4 or so ..I always get relief when I buzz down on ugly duckling phase which is what I’m in right now . Best Karl

Im on record as saying it’s where I would go in a heartbeat if a certain clinic in India didn’t exist ..a hard YES from me !!
