  1. Thanks mate. Did you have HT and after how long did you start using it? Was it after shedding or before?
  2. Hey folks Please follow my HT journey here: I have bought topical Finasteride +Minoxidil Morr f solution in India( 4 month supply) and havent started using it yet. It has 5% Minoxidil and 1% Finasteride. Today is my 14th day post surgery. Has anyone used it and how are the results. I am planning to use on my crown area to thicken it as I didnt get any geafts on that area. Thanks
  3. Hey everyone I have created another thread for my HT journey. Thanks for all the help so far.
  4. Day 14 update: Spoke with Dr Sethi about the difference in the implanted grafts on the temples as right side has mostly doubles and left mostly singles. I have been told that it doesnt really matter as once the temples grow, they will look similar to each other . My thought was that the right side will look dense than the left !! The donor has not healed completely. Right side was healed in 2-3 days so I am not sure why left side is taking long. Were more grafts taken from left side?? !! I am happy with my hairline and being patient. Liking my new look and first day of work tomorrow. I will not be wearing any hats as they will certainly rub on the grafts including the temples. I dont really care what others will think or say so I advise to have the same attitude 😜 Using aloe vera gel twice a day on donor. Healthy diet with lot of greens is on the menu everyday. Donor and recipient a bit itchy every now and then. I just kind of dab with my finger to relieve it. Still using flight next pillow as cant sleep with donor touching the pillow as the area with scabs hurt a bit. Also not touching my temples with pillow as well. I am trimming my hair every 2nd or 3rd day very carefully and without touching scalp. It makes everything looks equal. Some pictures taken just now.
  5. Looks like the scabs as they go white when you wash them . Did doc not tell to remove them gently on 8th day in the shower?
  6. Day 11- Jan 2,2020 Donor area- Right side is healed but left is still not completely healed. I still cannot touch back of my head on pillow while sleeping so still using travel neck pillow and sleeping in 45 degree elevation without turning sides due to my temples. Temples- There seems to be a difference between the right and the left temples. When looked closely, right seems to have mostly doubles being implanted and left has mostly singles. Pics attached. Messaged Eugenix doctors and waiting on their comment. Will post once I hear back !! Recipient area- All the scabs seem to have come out and recipient is still numb. Think I had a right idea of taking 14 days off as donor is still not completely healed so anyone going through HT, I woukd advise to take 14 days off if you can.
  7. Zoomster has summed up really everything that I wanted to say 😜 You really have to choose whats right for you. For eg, if you can never sleep on the plane, skip the night flights. Your body clock will work accordingly so you can sleep at night in a proper bed. I flew through frankfurt as it was simply a cheaper option. I pre booked my seats when flying back. This meant seat was booked next to toilets and extra room to get out without disturbing anyone. Remember saline spray ever 2 hours!! Or if you are right handed, choose a seat where you can extend your right hand to spray saline water on your head of you cannot get out without disturbing and ofcourse saline spray isnt into everybody's face around you😂 AND YES, THE BEST TIP: Checkout seatguru website for the airplane seat layout. For eg ; Lefthansa seat map didnt show that row 88 had a big leg room but I exactly knew it has and I chose it😉 Hope this helps. All the best everyone !! @paddyirishman @Zoomster
  8. Day 8 Today I did my 2nd hair wash. I prepared bathtub and stayed inside the water for 10 minutes soaking my head. I dabbed on Dove baby shampoo and massaged the scalp gently. I left the shampoo on for good 15 minutes and started gently removing the scabs. Please note that you might find the scabs a bit stubborn to be removed in first wash but this is normal. You may take 3 to 4 washes to get 100% scabs removed. By the way the scabs turn white in colour when soft so dont be worried as its not the grafts. Donor area is healing as normal.
  9. 100% Incisions were made by Dr Sethi. 100% punching was done by Dr Arika Bansal. Extraction and implantation was done by the technicians. Anaesthesia was given mostly by Dr Alok Sahoo. He is brilliant. Grafts implanted by technicians simultaneously. You can ask for whos operating on you anytime or ask for doctor's. You might be lying on your stomach or your eyes covered so nothing falls on you during the procedure. It might be hard to know whos operating on you but I always asked and checked. I advise anyone to do the same. Hope this helps. Cheers
  10. Day 7 Shave or no shave option: I am writing this for anyone looking to go ahead with no shave option. DONT do it. From my own personal experience, it is not worth. I finally had to trim down the native hair. It not only helps to see where the transplant is required but also make post op care easier. I decided to trim the native hair and wish I went with shaved option.
  11. Day 7th- Head wash As instructed, I did the head wash. However, I was too scared to rub the area with pressure so the scabs didnt come off. Had a call with Dr Sethi and advised to repeat it again tmw.
  12. Day 6 Tomorrow will be my first headwash. I have been taking post op care of both recipient and the donor area as instructed by the Eugenix. Still not sure what to do with the rest of the hair. Might have to trim it all. Back to work on Jan 6th so will decide then 😀 The white stuff in donor area is the ointment that I apply twice a day.
  13. Hey mate. Check the latest post below They trimmed my donor area but the rest of hair stayed. Exactly as my latest Day 6 pictures
  14. I thought the same. So next day when they were going to do extraction , I asked when will the slits be made and I was told they are still there from the previous day and can remain there for 3 days.
  15. Day 5 I am having hard time and feel very uncomfortable to sleep in upright position at 45 degrees on my back without turning. After a while the flight neck pillow feels like a brick 😀Anyone has any suggestions? Pictures from today. Crusts forming on frontal part. In donor area left side seems a bit more tender than the right.
  16. Day 4- Past 3 days, I had swelling in my forehead and nose bridge but I have been massaging it. Today the swelling has gone down so a good sign. Still sleeping only in upright position at 45 degrees with 2 pillows under arms each side so I dont turn in my sleep. It works. For me its an uncomfortable position but needs to be done.
  17. Absolutely. Everyone has a different pain threshhold I suppose but this was my experience. However, nothing that you cant bear
