I live in a big city with lots of crazies walking around.
So I just left my house every day with my shaven, red head and nobody would even dare to stare at me. Tey probably thought I was one of those crazy guys who just got into a fight with someone. It was kind of fun actually

But you are missing the point ! First is it a well established fact and backed by data ? that you just cannot rely on Oral Minoxidil and should also continue applying Topical Minoxidil ?
How to apply it ? Tips and Tricks on how to apply it. These all come later...My question is why need for both ? and is there a need for both ? I know I am free to do as I wish. But I am trying to find out from guys here what have their respective Dermats told them ?
There probably is no need for both.
I'm guessing you will get a tiny boost from doing both topical AND oral MX.
Maybe a few extra dozen hairs?? Maybe a few extra hundred??
And because MX is so cheap they figure why not do both

Yes but my question is the whole idea people prefer and like and would want to switch away from the hassles and messiness of applying Topical Minoxidil. why would someone want to do both ? That's way too much effort and work to save your hair isn't ? And is very Tiring and Boring.
Here's the way I do it. I apply topical MX in the morning.
Eat my breakfast, read my morning newspapers....etc.
After about 1 hour the MX will have been absorbed through my scalp skin.
I then wash the excess grease out of my hair under warm tapwater (as warm as you can take it) for a few minutes.
I then proceed to take my bath or shower and wash my hair twice with clarifying shampoo.
This gets rid of all the MX topical greasiness.
You only need to apply topical MX once daily. Applying it twice daily will not grow you anymore hair
---------------------------------------------------------------
Another way to do it is apply at night before going to bed, then just wash out the next morning using the same instructions as above.
I have never had a greasy head from topical MX since I started doing this

Taking oral AND topical makes sense because less than 1% of topical goes systemic.
In other words if you take 1ml topical that = 50mg MX.
50mg X 1% = 0.5mg.
So that means only 0.5 mg of topical goes into your bloodstream, which means you're only taking 3mg MX in total daily

Wow nice change in 2 months.
I started noticing new hair growing around 5 weeks or so.
And the existing hairs I have started growing in thicker and faster as well

I started 2.5mg oral minoxidil about two months ago (after using topical minoxidil for about three months prior). It may be strengthening my hair all around in terms of thickness. It's difficult to say because it may just be my hair at 8 months post op just maturing also. Probably a combination of both.
Are you taking 2.5mg twice daily or 1.25mg twice daily

3x a week on 2.5mg which is what seems to be the standard UK dosage becoming available
So let me get this straight, latest research says we only need to take 2.5mg 3 times a week??
So monday, wednesday and friday for example??
And is that 1.25mg twice daily or just 2.5mg once daily??

- Seated BP 133/80 with a Pulse of 62.
- ECG reported sinus bradycardia, with a pulse of 50
Is this supposed to be good or bad.
Also, how much hair growth have you had (in contrast to topical MX)??

I just think that the result is not that impressive. With this kind of money, you would habe hoped to achive something very close to natural hair.
You HAVE to be kidding??!!!!
That density and frontal hairline is aboot as perfect as you're gonna see anywhere

I think TB had a transplant as well. If you look at the left side it looks a little pluggy

Intas is a real pharmaceutical company in India.
So if that package is real and hasnt been counterfeited, then the contents are likely legit as well.

However, I wouldnt mess with drugs I bought online.
The drug you are buying is generic and when it comes to Loniten I would stick with the name brand I got at my local pharmacy.
Just my 2 cents worth

They sound sketchy.
When it comes to drugs that lower blood pressure and affect your heart I wouldnt mess around with questionable sources, but thats just me

I believe you when you say those are MX side-effects.
However, according to the drug literature face swelling affects less than 10% of all patients.
So that means 90% of people wont experience this.
