I say grow it for another month and see what it looks like then
-
Hi, have you tried growing your hair longer ? In my opinion you cannot cut your hair that short and expect it to look completely full . Especially with your dar hair and high contrast to skin.
grow your hair another 2/3 cm in length on top and it will look brilliant .
min my opinion, considering how short your hair is the result looks ok.

Any improvement behind the hairline ? Any pics with hair not combed over that area ?
Hello mate
yes big improvement behind hairline . My hair is longer than usual due to barbers being closed , so difficult to not have hair over behind the hairline !

Hello @stephcurry30 - I am on fin and dut - this bits that appear to Thinning are the reasons I went back. I was convinced the multi grafts didn’t grow as well as the singles. Dr Erdogan explained that it could be that I’ve continued to lose Jaír and for this reason suggested I use Dut twice a week on top of fin.
I’m happy that my hair will be ok for the next 7-10 years . Then I will use the last 2000-3000 grafts. If it means having a bald patch at my back in my 40s and 50s so be it .
I am using fin every day and dut on Mondays and Thursdays

I’m not familiar with RU - what is it
-
Sure
I’ve tried to mark up so you can see what’s transplanted and what’s not. The island at front is native hair. I’ve had around 1500 grafts in back at crown and 4500 grafts to rebuild frontal hairline and the frontal third. I was slick bald at hairline and pretty much entire frontal third apart from the island is transplanted
im using propecia everyday and I have been using dutasteride twice a week (Monday and Thursday) for past 4 months but planning to reduce this to Monday only incase I build up a tolerance and exhaust my medical options - I figure I can increase dutasteride again in future if needed .
when I shaved down for HT number 2 it was clear I had a lot of miniaturisation in the crown despite being on fin for 2.5 years .

@Leftwithrope no sides really. I’m sure that sometimes I’m not as horny as I used to be sometimes but will take a lot to tame this beast.

If you use as directed, and then discontinue using, does it cause "shock loss"?.....
Hi Jake , i highly doubt it but sure there’s someone out there that will say otherwise.

@Leftwithropehello , not sure as it’s hard to tell , although haven’t lost more hair and I feel that my frontal third is denser; but of course I did have a hair transplant 4 months ago !

Im
using fin ED and Avodart twice a week now for 3.5 months with no sides .

We all have our reasons and standards, and I hope the second procedure delivers all you want from it, but this was already an amazing result here at 12 month mark. Natural looking, good density, and I bet most people outside this forum wouldn't even notice the thining behind the hairline that for you made made it less than 100% a success. But here you had already an amazing hairline. Good luck with the new one and well done to the doctor.
Thank you Florence , hairline has remain unchanged with only some more grafts going in. I was always happy with the hairline and I never said I wasn’t.
i wanted to be able to cut my hair shorter, and my mid scalp not to look thin at that length. due to my hair colour and skin tone to me personally it stood out behind the hairline. I don’t know if this would be different if I had blonde hair .

Thank you !
donor area does look perfect! Looking forward to having brilliant hair in 2021 thanks to Asmed!
Merry Xmas to you all too

Hello everyone
hope you are all having a nice Xmas eve
At 3 months post 2nd procedure , I decided to cut around my head with my beard trimmer as I basically had my hair the same length all around. I had not cut my hair at all since I last went to Asmed.
i was a bit worried that my donor would look bad. I have a colleague at work who went to Georgia for a hair transplant and after 2 ops at around 7k grafts his donor looked see through. In fact, his hair on top looked denser than the back of His head!
CHECK MY DONOR OUT !
i think that with a little gel, my hair looks brilliant. I think that this is 90% my first op and 10% second op that didn’t shed, I can definitely see and feel the difference , particularly on the right side (my right) , my left was always the bit I was not 100% happy with and this can be seen even now. I am hoping this fills in.
I am hoping the results from the second op will now start to show . I received a lot of grafts in the hairline, despite me mentioning I was happy with the hairline. I hope these begin to show soon .
