    Does this photo means that I am going at the end to Norwood 7 ? How can you predict how far the sides will go down ? Is it an option to have a HT to fill the front and mid scalp and to leave the crown empty? Is this going to look natural (like isolated crown baldness)?

    I feel the skull growth theory has a role with DHT. Look at your old photos and see the difference !

    Why this pattern if all these hairs are sensitive DHT which is present in all the scalp ?

    But in most people it follows a similar progressive pattern

    Why in most people baldness starts in the front and the temples then goes gradually to the back of the head. Why DHT will attack the front first if all these hairs are sensitive to it ? Is it the skull expansion ?

    How 1000 grafts in 2 or 3 procedures !

    May be they refused him as many of the top surgeons will advise you not to have a HT if you have severe hair loss at young age and not on Finasteride which is a good advice!

    May be it’s planned ! I mean to use a small number of grafts (low density) with concealers until hair loss stabilise. The advantage that he will have less scarring in both donor and receipt areas so he will still have the option to shave his head if the hair loss is too severe for more surgeries!

    Fine hair is also a big issue. You need more grafts than people with thick hair !
