  1. True but that waiting list though. I'm leaning toward Hasson and Wong because they don't have that waitlist and the price reasonable especially with the usd conversion.
  2. Would you say both Konior and Hasson and Wong have more reliable and consistent results than Asmed? What if it's just me and my hair transplants will always yield sort of low?
  3. I'm in Arizona United States but I'll go anywhere in the world that is reasonably safe if the surgeon is top top notch
  4. I have had 2 fue surgeries. First one involved ARTAS and second was manual fue. There has been improvement but the yield for both surgeries are not looking good. Hairline is still very see through with lots of gaps and crown is still thin. I am 6 months post op from the second surgery and am considering what my next move will be in the future. I'm looking for the absolute best fue surgeons in the world that have the most consistent track record for high yield, high density, and aggressive hairlines, and no sketchiness or doubt in their reputation. My first surgery: Dr. Shelly Friedman 2nd: Dr Koray Erdogan What do you think of going to Juan Couto in Spain? He is just a bit more pricey than Erdogan but his result videos are always great.
  5. I might just use Juan couto in Spain next
  6. It seems like my hairloss has stableized I dont see hair coming out nearly as much after showers compared to how it used to and haven't noticed things getting worse at all. And if I wait I wouldn't be able to use the warranty probably
  7. I'll take them up on the offer to fix it for free with their warranty if I don't yield 90%. But there's a good chance the same thing happens again. What affordable surgeons exist that have a higher success rate than Erdogan?
  8. Well I hope so. Just seems like I have seen more cases on these forums where people that had very little improvement above baseline at 5-6 months in terms of new hairs sprouting in the hairline ended up having mediocre results at a year than I have seen of people on here that were similar to me at 5.5 months but ended up having a thick dense hairline at a year. So that's the reason for my concern. All the other cases I've seen where people had great results at a year, their 5 month pictures has some visible growth and you could see transplanted hairs sprouting
  9. It still hasn't really improved above baseline tho lol all of the improvement has been just improvement of shock loss
  10. Not acceptable man. Im approaching 6 months post op from asmed and am in a similar position. They offer a 90% growth guarantee as well. If you don't get 90% they offer to fix it for free
  11. Has anyone gone to Asmed and had a mediocre result the first time and then go back for the 90% warranty procedure to fix it and then end up having a good result with the free warranty fix?
  12. 5 months 1 week. In bathroom lighting with outline of recipient area
  13. Yeah I'm not having much growth yet either but it's only 5 months post op for me. However everything seemed fine with my surgery and the work seemed super clean and everything seemed to have gone smoothly. However for you, comparing to where you were before surgery you definitely have had an improvement in the overall hairline
  14. To be honest I haven't been checking my beard much I just trimmed it a bit shorter than usual so I'll have to let it grow back to see if the density in those spots have been brought up above what it was previously to make it more homogenous and connected to the rest of my beard and I'll get back to you. Dr said I have something like 3000 grafts left
  15. Yeah some of the hair there was transplanted from ARTAS
  16. I do believe my temples look a bit more defined and straight after this procedure. My hairline was supposed to be lowered slightly but primarily was reinforced and reshaped to be more angular and straight. But the hairs that really made the new line angular are not growing much yet and lots of space in hairline with visible scalp. Also I had thinning in crown and vertex and was very thin when wet and this is why we used 5000 to cover hairline, crown, and vertex. At least they have a 90% growth guarantee, and 90% of 5000 grafts should be a huge difference. If I don't reach that threshold they offer to do a free touch up with enough grafts that should make me reach that 90% threshold of the original 5000 grafts. I'll just have to pay to fly there again.
  17. Honestly, I don't think that's gonna make a difference man. I get enough nutrition and my wound healing is fine and my normal hair grows just fine. If I'm gonna get results at all I'll get results without doing anything other than waiting. The surgery itself is supposed to be the fix, if other things were necessary the surgeons would tell us
  18. I still don't think I've improved beyond what I was before surgery. I'm starting to get the feeling that it's not gonna happen. I literally look basically the same as before surgery
  19. I supposedly have 3 more thousand according to asmed I think
  20. It's crazy man this is my second surgery my first one had bad minimal results too so excluding interest these 2 surgeries cost $33,000 including flights and I've used 7000 grafts
  21. I'm 5 months post op and things aren't looking bright
