  1. Hi guys, quick update, here’s some photos of my hair some are a a few weeks old the close flash ones are just now, very happy with everything just hoping for it to thicken up abit but saying that if it stays as is I’m happy. I’m around 6 a dnt half months today
  2. Mate honestly your hair doesn’t look that bad, mine is also very thin at the front I just brush it to the side and it looks abit better, we still have a long way to go and if I see you on the street the last thing I would think of is that you had terrible hair mate
  3. Hi mate id still be hoping for more growth at this stage, can you upload a pic of it styled better mate instead of trying to show us so we can see how your looking now out and about
  4. 5 months today, I’m very happy with how it’s looking and just waiting for it to slowly thicken up hopefully
  5. It was 2.50 euros per graft including hotel and transfers and post op care pack
  6. Hi mate, I’ve seen some guys start regrowth abit later but go from worried to amazed in a short period of time when it all kicks in and comes on strong, hang in there bro I’m sure you have much progress to come and will be good to see it. i don’t remember who my techs was I asked Esen who they was the day I was leaving and she said she even forgot that day, just remember the lady had very pretty eyes
  7. That’s very good advice, I wish I could clean up my diet and avoid the sugars etc... I also went on two holidays and got pretty tanned 3 months post op, I must say I’ve been really relaxed and not stressed about my hair at all and it’s growing fine so far, be patient mate as the growth starts around month 3 and you will notice differences almost weekly
  8. Hi mate yes sorry been very busy with holidays and work and couldn’t sign in to the website for a while, here’s my progress taken today basically 4 months post op. I’m very happy with it so far, let me know what you guys think. It’s still thin as only 4 months but hopefully density will come in the months ahead.
  9. It shed same time as the rest I guess and is starting to come back now, your result looks good mate you have a nice sense hairline, what’s happened with the middle at the back it looks like you could have had some grafts there? Or is that planned for future
  10. After the first month is when I started to notice the shed, by the beginning of the second month it should stop and start growing, I also had some shock loss, it happens when they put grafts around your native hair but sometimes it damages the follicles or if miniaturised can also cause them to shed, I’m at 2.5 months now and seeing some growth and happy so far I understand most shock loss re grows, only if the hair was very miniaturised it may not return.
  11. Hi Guys Here’s my update at 2 months, pics with flash and no flash, still slightly red and I’d say around 90% hairs shed, I can see a few small spikes coming through now one side is stronger than the other but it was stronger before surgery also. Just living my life as normal waiting for the growth
  12. Hi Eden Well done for getting you transplant with Asmed they put out amazing work and I’m sure your result will be no different. Can you post your stats for us please, hair calibre and donor capacity etc? Keep the thread updated il be following
  13. Hi Mate, yes I requested it.. well I asked about it and how they do it and Esen asked me if I would like it I said yes I do. They say the results of it on regrowth are minimal but it may help with recovery a bit. I don’t think they regard it very highly at the clinic. I agree with your thinking and mine was the same... even if it helped slightly with heeling then its till benefited me.
  14. I also had a consultation with Dr Reddy in his London office, this was around a year and half ago and he advised me I needed around 1800 grafts if I remember correct was around this area. I did like his results and I would have happily went ahead but didn’t have the funds at the time and was just seeing how bad my loss was at the time. Fast forward to end of last year I decided I’m booking my HT and after looking at results of all doctors my faveourites were Reddy, Erdogan and Lorenzo. I didn’t get a reply from Lorenzo clinic but Asmed replied and were super professional from the start and answered everything I needed. This added with the much more available results of Asmed compared to dr Reddy convinced me to choose Dr Erdogan. Let’s be honest his results are all top notch and I honestly haven’t seen any bad cases myself, he did quote me higher then the others on number of grafts (around 500/1000) but I guessed it would be better for the result and give me the dense look I hoped for. Have you sent Asmed an online consultation to see what they estimate your grafts needed?
  15. Hi Mate You had good hair before and your donor is high so I expect an excellent result here, redness looks fine to me it is just a really slow process for that to heal I think for everyone, I see you said you had 200 grafts in the temples I wondered to myself how many was put into mine but I don’t know the answer. Will follow your thread bro so keep updating us
  16. Thanks mate, yeah make the most of the new babies lol. I don’t apply anything but my consultant Esen told me I must use a PH 5.5 shampoo so I use SebaMed every day shampoo 5.5ph. I think it helps keep your scalp at the desired ph level and helps heeling. My head is slightly red in recipient area I reckon it will remain like this for a few months tbh, I also want to start using aloe Vera soon, a friend of mine also recommended hemp shampoo to try.
  17. I paid GBP for mine.. when u settle ur bill at the end they will just convert it and tell you how much you owe.
  18. Good luck on your HT mate, I was a nervous wreck just before mine but honestly you have nothing to worry about. I actually enjoyed it and found it relaxing while watching films on the iPad. The airport and hotel are all full with others who have had HT so don’t wory about afterwards you will blend in just fine.
  19. Thanks HG1 Hoping to get some solid growth like you and il be a happy chap indeed
  20. Hi guys, Posting my one month update, a lot of hair has shed I think but not all, I have noticed the odd hairs in my hands when showering but I can’t say that I’ve seen hundreds or hairs. Saying that my family have mentioned it now looks a lot thinner and as of a lot of the hair has now fell. I’ve taken photos under the harshest light I can find to show you guys, got the sides shaved down to a number 1 to tidy it up at the one month mark. When I ran my fingers over the temples I still feel loads of hairs there and small spikes ones more in the front hairline, I’m guessing these probably will all shed over the next 2 weeks, will keep you updated on it. I don’t wear a hat and I have so many people ask me about my hair and so many people saying they want it done and where and why etc... it’s good to tell people about the experience.
  21. Hi Guys Il keep this short and sweet, my left nipple is showing bad gyno hard large lumps (3) under the nipple, I think I had small lumps already but were unnoticeable before to the naked eye. Since starting propecia around 1.5 months ago the gyno is very sensitive and has grown I’d say 2x size. My question is if I take tamoxifen at 20mg a day for 4 weeks to see if I can shrink it like it advises on most forums will this affect my hair transplant result, I had FUE 3 weeks ago now. I know some people report thinning on tamoxifen but I think that’s with cancer sufferers who are on the drug for a long time. If any one has any idea of this or any recommendations please let me know.
  22. Thanks Lukey I hope I get good results and I will take photos as you suggested and hopefully get some good growth, im just hoping the hairline area has the density to not look see through at all once grown out, my hairs pretty thin so only time will tell
  23. Hi Guys Day 10 today post op so going to upload some photos to show my current condition. I still have pain in my donor area that started about day 3 post op, kind of like aching headache pain that comes from a few soft spots reminds me asif it’s the sites of injections maybe? Today I’m basically scab free maybe the odd scab here or there that l get off tonight with a nice wash, I’ve also purchased some Simple shampoo and also some hemp shampoo from Holland and Barrett to start using to see how I get on. I must say I think the hairline area could maybe be a bit more dense but I guess some hairs have fell out with scabs so I won’t judge just yet. Redness is really good I have been out many times and no one looks at me just a few comments from people saying nice hair cut. Just took these pics to show you guys. Will update again at day 28 with some more pics
  24. Hi Shuriken I’ve also been following yours, the magic will be happening for you from now how have you found the ugly duckling stage?
  25. Hi HG1 Yes going to be a hard few months the worst is you get to see a lovely hairline and then it gets taken away lol. Day ten today so going to post some pics
