Skin to Hair contrast is the main thing that will impact results, if your hair is blonde and your a white guy you can have more coverage for less grafts. Whilst a white guy with dark hair will need to have more grafts to cover the contrast between scalp to hair.
Here is a question of my own that I was thinking about.
If your beard hair is a different colour than your scalp hair. How will that impact your results? My beard hair is almost ginger, whilst my scalp is very dark brown almost black. If I were to use beard hair in lets say my crown and mix that in with my scalp hair will the beard hairs make it look unnatural? The salt and pepper look with a mix of gray and black hairs look natural but how would ginger and dark brown hair look? Unnatural? We've heard of beard hair matching the characteristics of scalp hairs when transplanted but what about the colour of the hair?
If one is truly 'all-in' w/hair restoration (beard & hair grafts) & the beard & hair grafts have many different 'shades'/colors & considering beard hairs are all single follicles & thicker & have different growing cycles & can have a different 'wave'/curl than scalp hair...
In my opinion only then a guy should probably commit the extra $$$'s to a professional colorist w/years of experience in order to 'nail' down their looks throughout the year & going forward.
But that's only if it bothers or concerns them.

It is hair restoration - nice hair characteristics as well.

Have your hair colored by a high-end colorist & lock in a new look to go w/your evolving 2nd hair-restoration surgery. You are in top shape (imho) & young enough - it will finish your look.
Take it from someone in the biz...
It is PRIME TIME to go for it.
peace...

I'm pretty sure the tax rate in Bulgaria is 10%
My bad - I thought they were 'all-in' w/the EU uber taxation (to a degree).
So, then BONUS +$$$ for Dr. Zarev.
It's an intense profession.

Hmmm... on avg. 25K per week gross...
His net net prob' 'round 10K per week after taxes.
Though I think Doc actually 'works' 60 hours per week (all-in 'research/reading/innovation/surgery/consults/office-staff training/et al).
So about $150-$175 per hour USD.
For Bulgaria cost of living, that is excellent. He is top shelf and obviously very focused.

I was just venting a bit 'cause my wallet gonna' be hurtin' yet again this summer (next surgery). And yes, I get it. Just wish inflation wouldn't have kicked us all in the butt recently.

The 7 per graft is only for repair cases, which is often more expensive at many top clinics. I know some clinics in Europe charging more for repairs. There’s no way Dr. Pekiner is comparable to Dr. Bisanga, not even close IMO. Dr. Mwamba is comparable and almost the same price for a regular non-repair case. Also, there is only one market, the hair transplant market. There are different sectors for different quality of clinics. Location doesn’t mean anything. People travel all the time to get a procedure, so locations don’t really matter.
Dr. Bisanga costs more because he believes his skillset & experience warrants the extra $$. I don't necessarily disagree either.
I will share my experience just to be transparent here 'cause that's the entire purpose of this website (just my .02 cents)>
I went to a consult w/Dr. Bisanga in late August '22.
Granted, I have had 6 strips (100, 120 w/Dr. Leavitt in Dec. '90/Jan '91), (400 & 700 w/Dr. Pomerantz in '93 & '94), (2250 w/Dr. Feller in '04) & (5000 {4500 strip & 500 FUE}) w/Dr. Soni in '17.
So, I am NOT technically a repair patient, I have been on Avodart since 2002 & Propecia since '98 before that. Been on oral minox since I think '19 (before that Rogaine since mid 90's). My donor is GOOD.
His representative (Hi Ian) quoted me 7.00 EURO in Belgium (yes, I can get the VAT tax rebated AFTER the surgery w/their consultant affiliate U.K service, nice extra 'touch' btw).
Dr. Soni (MEDISPA) left me w/a WIDE scar on my last (greed) 4.5 strip in '17 - so, I'm torn currently. I have a consult w/Dr. Shapiro next month & I might consult w/Dr. Wong about cutting out the strip & then moving forward.
I don't know why I am rambling. Oh, yes I do. I don't think I am a repair patient. Just a patient w/6 strip scars. My donor is very healthy (I am a NW5+ without hair restoration) - I get it w/Dr.'s charging me MORE for just a 1.5K to 1.75K 'cherry-pick' my donor - but why should I pay MORE for a simple extra 30 minutes of planning?
You tell me? I'll hang up & wait.
p.s. Dr. Bisanga is AWESOME & I respect his senior-level professional fee structure. I don't negotiate though - so I felt as though his rep (hola again Ian, btw) should have offered me $5.00 Euro per graft -but again, I am non-confrontational.
This is NOT a critique of Dr. Bisanga's excellent skill either. I am having a difficult time though paying big money for (in my mind) huge $$$'s for the 1.25K or 1.5K grafts directly behind my hairline at a less expensive rate & then having a top-world-class surgeon such as Dr. Bisanga finish me off in the frontal 'dense-pack' hairline band a final 750-1000 grafts.
I'm 56 years old & do NOT want to use ANY beard hair until I am older.

Those are good bets! Definitely his surgeon locked it in - big time!

Thank you for the kind words @mrmane85. All up I have been able to use 6,272 scalp grafts which just blows my mind. Other elite surgeons who I consulted with said I would be able to get no more than 2k-2.5k. This is a real compliment to Dr Pradeep and the skills of the Eugenix team. Especially when you consider that I had already lost over 2k grafts from my first two botched procedures.
Aussie bra' - w/your hair characteristics I forsee another 2.5K from your scalp in another year Mr. Big-Time Aussie $$$$'s !!!
Seriously, GO DEEPER when it is time. Don't say no 'cause methinks you will be back for one FINAL glorious BLAST - never say never.
Cheers on ya' ~~

But it is a bit disappointing to see that with all the money and ressoucres Musk has you can't get a better result. I mean the result is ok but not that impressive
You are a real hard on - ya' know that? Ahahaha!!!! 😈

You need dense-packing of the frontal hairband w/lateral slits & proper 1-2-3 haired follicle distribution w/a bit of asymmetrical peaks/valleys.
Go w/Hasson & Wong or Shapiro or Cooley imho. Take a loan out or something and get this sorted. Your very fine & straight hair (long too) does you know favors but you can get a much better result.
Wait another 6 months & just do it. Good luck!

I saw $30 USD per month - from Roman website:
Oral Minoxidil
Generic Loniten
$30/month
-----------------------
I currently buy & have used them for 4 years, alldaychemist - runs about .20 cents per 1/4tab of 10mg w/discount - so about $6.00 per month.
It's generic and comes from Indian manufacturers just like Roman.

Medispa - Dr Suneet Soni
He did 4,500 FUT & 500 FUE on me in '17 (8.6K grafts so far).
Bisanga looked over the work in August of '22 & said everything looked spot on.
One of my last 2 surgeries will either be w/Dr. Ron Shapiro or perhaps Dr Devroye or Wong or I might
have my strip revised by Soni w/additional FUE & then do a blend of more hair & beard w/one of the other
3 surgeons I mentioned.

I think the battle may be over - & you are only 30 w/such radically advanced hairloss. The risk to reward for hair restoration is not favorable. You'd need to grow out your hair and get a full evaluation from a qualified hair restoration surgeon who is a straight shooter imho.

These videos are very satisfying! You know, like those pimple popper videos & all that jazz!!😆

I think you put the symbol '@' in front of their name - they see it and perhaps answer.

Great question - ask a surgeon on this forum. Anything less than that is a non-surgeon opinion and worth .02 cents.

Zoom in. Toup? Methinks he has had temple work & hairline enhancement & first 1/3rd of frontal hairline band zone done about 15 years ago. This is a recent pic. I'm obsessed w/celebrity hairlines - but then again, aren't we all? 🍸
