Hasson money grab, simple as. Extra 1.6K upsell. Hasson must have a massive mortgage payment.
800 by 800 temple work - ridiculous!

Also I wanted to ask people here on the forum:
Anyone knows a reputable doc in the US who does body to scalp? I am really interested in a test procedure to see how that pans out. To make sure that my beard and body heal without marks, and whether that hair grows.
I think if I ever want to get good coverage, I have eventually to do fit farming.
Dr. Umar for sure. He is S. California.

Shame on this Dr. Greed got to him & he is unethically practicing medicine & surgery (do no harm).
He should be sued to the point of abject poverty to balance & pay for what he continues to do; again - he KNOWS better and deserves to be held liable for his actions.
It's an orgy of evidence & compelling facts that speak to his lack of patient care on nearly all fronts.

I defer to you - is your name Jesus?

Wear 24 inch heels. That should do the trick. Seriously - just have a good time & try and forget about your dome.

You've been on the forum for how long? Dr. Umar was on here posting pictures of not only amazing repairs, but amazing HT's of guys approaching NW7, from as far back as I've been on the forum, which is 2007. You weren't around for all of that. I don't know what you mean by "boutique/niche" surgeon, do you?
His extensive experience doing amazing repair work is certainly no impediment, and every one of his patients can expect an excellent result, as his body of work has repeatedly shown.
Dude - I've been around on Hair Loss message boards since the late 90's. I stand by what I wrote. He does alot of body hair/nape hair/leg hair - none of that will ever look completely natural on a repair patient. Only less jarring. No fault of his. Thus - boutique/niche.
And he doesn't have alot of profile (doesn't need it). Finally, he takes on very awful cases - alot of other surgeons do transplants day after day. Dr. Umar does other plastic surgery; alot in fact.
So get out of my face already. Ty

Don't think Medical Wellness Center will prescribe Oral Minox - I asked a few years ago - maybe they changed their policy.
-
I think you should consider going to a high-end colorist just to see what they could do - something really high quality that looks as natural as possible.
I am not critiquing your choice of hair dye - just would like to see some finesse.

Good documentation pics are always appreciated from hair restoration patients.

Looks clean - I'm sure you got all the grafts you paid for.

Fake hair!

Dr. Umar has very little profile - boutique/niche surgeon. Seems more plastic surgeon/repair/specialized. I'd go w/surgeons that do regular hair transplants every day like clockwork.

Density is okay - his 1st 'passes' are good. As far as dense packing a frontal hairline, I don't think he specializes in that. I know his slits are not lateral but saggital. Overall though he gets good coverage and nearly 100% survival. That's why I did 5K grafts with him for overall good coverage from front to crown.

I enjoyed strolling 'round Jaipur outside his clinic back in '17 - lots of friendly people. Clinic is solid. Dr. Soni works fast & is detail oriented. Good hard-working well run staff as well. It's a bit less private around the operating/graft rooms but that is the Asian/Indian way of life.
Enjoyed the room they put me up in for a few days at the clinic as well. Overall, my trip to India was very pleasant.
Good luck!

Finasteride (Propecia 5mg split into 1/4ths) from I think '98 to about '02-'03. Then switched to Dutasteride (Avodart) since '03 - been consistent with the NAME-BRAND Avodart since about '18. For a few years since '03 (I think '08 on & off thru '18) I was on/off generic & name-brand Avodart.

I get the 10mg Loniten - I originally started taking 5mg 2X's a day 3 years ago but now I just take 2.5mg's per day. I'm 55 and have had multiple procedures & have been on dutasteride (Avodart) for 20+ years and some form of minox for 25+ years, so I just continue to use meds at this point to keep my donor healthy and robust.
That written - the meds did delay accelerated hairloss until about 43 years old or so and then I lost more in my mid-vertex and crown. You can never outrun genetics.
-
You are bald in the crown now - 30 years old - not a kid. I wouldn't rush the 1-2 month timeline as an absolute 'must.' You have a virgin scalp, continue to take your time. If you do this correctly you'll thank yourself for many years. The 2.5 Euros per graft is very limiting - get another job or work overtime to broaden your list of available doctors in Western Europe.
Good luck on your journey.

I use medicalwellnesscenter.com for my brand-name Avodart (Dutasteride). I asked them for a prescription for Oral Minoxidil three years ago. They said nope.
I buy my oral minox (Loniten) from alldaychemist.com
That was my work around.

He was wearing a hair system and shaving down alot of healthy hair - so keep that in mind.

Poster's original hair is in the top 1% of possible donor-hair quality. Keep this in mind.
Regardless, well done thus far.

I wrote a long response - bottom line - contact your EU surgeon/rep beforehand and ask them.

Went to a consult on August 27th in Maryland. I've had many strips & a small fue {8,500 grafts thus far}. My surgery with him would be FUE. I asked about surgery in the U.S. in 2023 - he didn't think it was going to happen.
-----------------------------------------
"Dr. Bisanga would be able to offer this procedure at a price of €7.00 per graft.
Dr. Bisanga would lead your surgery, consult and plan your approach.
Dr. Bisanga would make your recipient sites.
Punching of your extraction sites would be made by Dr. Bisanga.
Technicians would then extract the pre punched grafts and place the grafts into the pre made recipient sites as with all BHR surgery.
Considering your total approximate graft recommendation, we can calculate an approximate surgery cost.
1500 grafts x €6.50 per graft = €10,500
TAX is additional for elective surgery in Brussels, however with a supporting/referral letter from your doctor explaining the negative effect hair loss is having on you, this can be avoided. I can provide an example of such a letter should you decide to proceed with surgery."
how often do you take finasteride?
