  1. A few things.  I have had 8.5K {8K FUT & 500 FUE} grafts & I have a badly stretched FUT scar (4.5K grafts from Dr. Soni 2016).  Another 2.25K FUT scar (good scar from Dr. Feller 2004) & 2 more FUT scars (400 & 700 grafts in '93 & '95) & finally 100 & 120 FUT graft scars in '91.

My hair is fine & my donor area is riddled w/those imperfections.

However, with the proper hair length (not too short & not too long in the back) it is not noticeable and w/a little hair spray in back I don't concern myself with it.

If this really bothers you then I suggest one or all of the following.

Possible FUT revision/500 or more beard hair grafts into the scar area/SMP and/or using some dermatch in the back.

I also have the same concerns when wearing a ballcap that it pushes my hair around in back exposing any of my 4 major FUT scars - but really no one is obessing about it more than me for sure.

I've also considered FUT revision - but I would like to lose a significant amount of weight in order to increase my scalp laxity if I decide to do so.

Considered H&W or Dr. Soni to do the revision - but am reluctant 'cause there is no guarantee that it will be improved.  All of my beard is white so also reluctant to put a bunch of beard hairs in there.  I could do FIT farming into the scar as well.

Just know 95% of the time no one is as concerned as you are about this.  Your results are very good & I would be happy.

Perhaps look for the absolute best SMP provider for your specific issue - a few are way better than others.

  2. Thickest hair in the world (demographically speaking) patient.  This is a 1 in a 1000 type result.  Not representative of a typical client.

His temporal point hair restoration is not good either - you can clearly see the doubles and it is too thick compared to his natural hair below.

If his hair wasn't nearly as thick as horsehair (diameter) - his frontal hairline restoration wouldn't look nearly as natural either.

  3. I'm surprised you wear your hair at such length as you will continue to lose hair and are relatively young.  Considering how fine your hair is combined with deep recession in the temples & frontal hair loss - in my opinion it exacerbates the 'thinning' look of someone with long hair & visually the 'dis-connect' between the zones of thinning/transplant hair vs more healthy normal density sides & back.

The reason I bring it up is I have grown out my hair long at times (after many transplants) & it took 100% perfect styling & lighting at a length of about 20 inches & then I had to hope everything would 'hold.'

I surveyed a bunch of random people asking them long hair vs short hair & nearly all said short hair improved my overall appearance & made the contrast of my frontal hairline/frontal hairline 'zone' less of an issue w/my surrounding hair.

That was disappointing because I like long hair but finally gave up the ghost.

  4. I find it hilarious that younger guys in the prime of their life have to watch other younger guys on youtube 'choad' out on plastic surgery/fitness/'roids etc...

It seems extremely narcissistic - but here we are all getting plastic surgery (hair restoration) - if only it was 100% normalized that regular functional bodies without alot of vanity muscle & balding is 'normal' for over 50% of adult men and that being overly concerned w/one's body & appearance was more vain (like women).

But that's more a function of age vs vanity I suppose.  I just don't get watching other dudes on youtube & obsessing & being overly 'aware' of them.  It seems excessively boorish to me.  Just my opinion.

  5. He has very thick/wiry hair.  Personally his frontal hairline is severe and not symmetrical at all (wall of hair).  His SMP makes his head look unnaturally blue.  Frankly his hairline is too low & too abrupt.  It's a very odd overall look - but those without a discerning eye for transplants probably wouldn't even notice anything too 'off.'  Just my 2 cents.

  6. Looking clean.  I had 2250 from Dr. Feller in my frontal zone back in '04 & had really good early growth.  Dr. Bloxham's work is very good as well in my opinion.  The extra 'native' hair in the very front center (forelock) of your hairline will only add to the naturalness of the results as it will 'frame' the front w/your hair restoration behind it blending in.

  7. There are so many personality types out there.  People can really only 'be' the way they really are in the end.  Frankly, I see very very few ultra-successful and/or wealthy or powerful male or females NOT in the public eye acknowledging plastic surgery.

The whole point is to make changes other people won't notice in an obvious way.

Sure, a few people 'own' it but this is the vast vast minority & that will never change.

The majority of those that 'own' it have nothing to lose because they are not in positions of power or prestige.  The 'majority.'

I'm a nobody in my community & with women but I would never draw attention to my hair restoration or any plastic surgery.  Most independent successful women that are not insecure will not react well to men revealing elective surgery.

Besides, you can never trust a woman with gossip-type info - they can't help themselves in spreading it around.  It's in their nature.

    Just my 2 cents.

  8. If you want to 'dense-pack' your existing hairline early then you need to find surgeons that can transplant at high densities within existing frontal hair.

Not all want to or are really capable of doing this artistically (very important) nor technically.  Choose well & you're golden.  Choose poorly & you will not be satisfied.

Your case reminds me of the guy who recently had surgery w/Dr. Ferrera - great results for us that have massive hairloss - but he is not completely satisfied - yet made peace w/his results.
