  1. 5 month update!!! So yesterday marks exactly 5 months since my procedure. I would say my hair is pretty close to the same it was pre op with lots of grafts sprouting however they're are very fine hairs and don't add much to my density. Hopefully over the next couple of months I see more growth and thickening
  2. Hey Hamburger, when did you actually notice any growth? I'm a week shy of 3 months and I still don't have any.
  3. Good to know..hopefully these next 6 weeks fly by
  4. SanDiegan...I appreciate your positivity. It's funny how I mentally prepared myself before the procedure but yet I'm doing the things I said I wouldn't post open and that is worrying. I'll try and relax for the next little while. Thanks again for the reply
  5. Shera, thanks for the link and Ive actually read his shock loss posts but for some reason now matter how much I read it doesn't really put my mind at ease...especially when you see the word "permanent", that word freaks me out.
  6. I really appreciate your response...just trying to hold it together lol. Didn't realize how stressful this recovery process would be...especially when you start seeing your hair fall out
  7. I certainly hope so. Have you ever seen shock loss this bad before?
  8. Can anyone please off some opinions on how I'm looking at almost 6 weeks post op. I'm not going to lie I'm slightly worried at how much shock loss I've had. My hair looks 10 times worse than it did before the procedure. I know that some of my hair was thinning before the procedure so Dr.Koray Erdogan had me start Proscar at the same time as the procedure at 1.25mg daily so I'm hoping the hairs grow back stronger. But is this much shock loss normal?? Any input would be great
  9. Hey Deb, how is your crown looking. I had my procedure done 4 weeks ago with Asmed and I had 1000 grafts put in the crown. My crown looks worse than it did before my procedure...just hoping it's not permanent shock loss...did you experience this at all?
  10. Hey Hamburger, how long after the procedure did you start wearing a hat?
  11. Well I'm 3 weeks post op and everything seemed to be fine except today I noticed 5 to 10 hairs that appear to have a black bulb on the end. Is this a rejected graft? If anyone has experienced this could you please offer some advice. I'm freaking out a little bit
  12. Wow! It's looking amazing! But after 5 months I highly doubt it's fully matured. I'd say you're probably looking at more density and coverage as time passes. But so far it's looking awesome. I'm nearly at my 3 week mark post Asmed HT and seeing this gets me excited
  13. Ya i already did. I was quite surprised to hear her say at day 6 I could be firmer. Just gonna do what I'm told
  14. Ok good to hear. I started getting a little firmer on day 6 and 7 and then started stressing out that maybe that was too early. I'm now on day 9
  15. At what day during the first 10 days did you start washing more firmly?
  16. Hey DEB, just curious, did you wash your hair fairly firmly through the whole process? If not what day did you start washing firmly?
  17. Just jax ...at what day did Sevinc say you could be more firm with the washing?
  18. I'm now on day 9 from my first procedure. Can anyone offer an opinion on how I'm looking. Am I on track?
  19. Hahaha I'll keep you posted on the progress of the Lions mane
  20. Personally I was hoping for a large number of grafts and I got it. So I'm hoping for some serious density improvements, finger crossed!
