Right side improved from 12-18 months but still see through but manageable when I style it. I'll definitely require more grafts there.

Right side is still very see through. Asmed advised me to wait until 18 months...I'm at 14 months now so I guess another 4 months and we'll see. I'm starting to believe I'll need a second procedure which ticks me off if I'm being honest

I'm not sure how much is costs in the US but I paid roughly 16k CAD or so for the procedure and travel etc

I'll post some pics next month when I reach the 12 month mark

My hair colour didn't change at all. Asmed takes the pictures with very bright lighting and bright lighting makes my hair look more blonde. Darker the lighting the darker my hair looks

The answer would be yes...i would be very disappointed. My main reason for the transplant was to fix my recession. Those worrisome areas are so thin that I can't wear my hair as I am in the pictures because it's extremely see through and also makes it very noticeable that I've had a procedure done. (I was asked by 3 people I didn't know if I had a transplant) That may sound greedy to some but remember I had 4410 grafts done which isn't a small procedure. That being said I do still feel these areas are gonna fill out still due to the fact that I can still see lots of baby hairs. So fingers crosseda

I just reached 9 months and I figured I’d post some updated photos. I just recently posted my worrisome area which is in my temple recession areas. I’m really hoping these areas fill out because I still feel a little insecure about those areas. I still have quite a few half inch baby hairs that hopefully mature within the next few months.

This is my worrisome area. As you can see it's pretty thin and see through. Just looking for opinions and thoughts as to if this area will fill in more...has anyone had a similar experience?

9 months post op- can anyone offer an opinion on this part of my hair...I've definitely noticed an improvement in my hair but my areas of recession still look like this..more so on this side than the other but none the less it's a bit worrisome. Any thoughts?

Did you notice density improvements from months 8 to 12?

Thanks bro! I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come. In the past my hair has grown extremely slow so I may be one of those guys who sees best results at 12+ months...time will tell I guess

Here's my 6 month update (6 months and 4 days to be exact) I'm finally starting to notice some changes so.hopefully this is the start of things to come. However I'm not going to lie I'm slightly concerned with the right side of my front hairline where I had a decent amount of recession. I'm hoping it fills in because right now it looks very thin. Let me know what you guys think!

I know how you feel. I guess we're our own worst critiques. Well fingers crossed for you that it becomes denser in the months to come.

Hey Justjax, I hope you end up getting the results you're looking for. At what month did you notice the results not improving? I'm 4 months behind you and seeing you dissatisfied with the result makes me nervous for my result lol

Is that me comparing myself to anyone or was I asking if anyone could compare themselves to me....much different. But yes I agree I still have tons of time. I was more so asking for reassurance since we all know what this process is like, slow and painful.

I'm not sure where you read that I was comparing myself to anyone else but I was simply asking a density question. I was simply stating that I'm lacking density which I know is a very early statement to make however posting good photos doesn't make a single difference since I wasn't asking if you think I'm lacking density, I was asking a question about density, but I appreciate your response.

At 7 months I should have an idea of the density I'll end with??

Hey Deb, how's your density coming? I'm about 1.5 months behind you and mine is still very minimal. My hair still looks see through at the moment.

Looking for opinions!!! I'm close to 5.5 month mark and as for my density, well, it hasn't changed much at all yet. I know everyones result is different and density comes at the later stages but i've noticed my hair still looks see through. Has anyone had this similar experience at 5.5 month mark...let me know, thanks!
