ht's involve risks, we all know that; but so do most of our daily activities - i.e. driving on the freeway, plane flights, etc. - the point is, you weigh the risks & a cost/benefit analysis and make your decision. If your not willing to take that risk, then you simply probably shouldn't get a ht; because if you want to use a NW7 template for all men, than just as Hdude46 said you should probably just shave your head, because the 'density/coverage' or lack thereof, will be completely undesirable to most. Simply look at any NW7 guys who have had a ht and ask yourself if you'd be happy w/that "look". If everyone used a NW7 as a template, than I bet 80%+ of the hts on this forum couldn't be achieved w/respect to the total #'s of grafts used and the location in which they were distributed. You'd end up w/such a thin, gimp, hairline that you couldn't style it and would probably rather shave.

all grafts 1's- (i) did you see how large his crown is, I bet at least half of the grafts went into it. (ii) his *low* hairline was already dictated by his previous butcher. (iii) his atrocious plugs required an incredible amount of camaglouging; add that all up and this is an amazing transformation and completely undetectable.

face blurring- what makes you so certain he didn't give the ok to this prior to it's posting? And noone is going to recognize him w/his face blurred regardless.

because it wasn't clear you were going the FUE route. 1,500 is NOT going to be enough, most hair lines alone require 3K. having said that, I would def opt for FUE if I were in your shoes, assuming your getting significantly more than 1500 grafts, you can achieve a sick look if you get a solid hairline, and mid scalp; and even shave down to have a cool 'buzzed' look.

Everytime I read a long disgrutnled post like this, two things are always lacking: the name of the dr. & pics. If what you say is true, then the short and skinny is you got butchered (sorry to hear that); but age has nothing to do w/it. You wouldn't be any less miserable being butchered at 35 then you would at 25.

The Truth About HTs:

the vast majority of dr.'s in the field are hacks, but there are a select few (many you can find on this site) who have revolutionized the procedure in but the past 7 years. Such dr.'s, like H&W, have time tested results and have proven themselves over and over again. Don't even just take the HD pictures, videos and testimonials as evidence, use this site and others to talk to patients first hand. That's what I did, and after 2 years of research, I couldn't be happier at this point w/my decision.
