New FUE technique? Maybe for Turkisch clinics. I had my hair transplant done by Prohairclinic and dr. De Reys / Sabine. They have been performing FUE since 2004. Sorry, but I don't consider FUE to be 'new'. Forget about Turkey, the real FUE experts are located in Belgium, period.

I feel wonderfull again, my hair worries are over and done with. Thumbs up for Sabine, Dr. De Reys and the rest of the Prohairclinic team.

From my own experience and research I find Belgium THE top country in Europe for FUE hair transplants. Belgium offers top Docs like Feriduni, Bisanga, De Reys and last but not least Prohairclinic (where I had my treatment). IMHO no other country has so many great surgeons.

I would add Prohairclinic in Belgium to the list of Top FUE in Europe. I am a frequent user of the Dutch hairloss site and ALL the WOW results are Prohairclinic. They seem to know what they are doing! De Reys is also top, but he has issues with density lately.

I have nothing to do with De Reys apart from being one of his fans. A friend of mine was treated under De Reys last year. If interested I could ask him to post his results? So, a doc gets his recommendation cancelled whenever they are not posting here? In my opinion patient sharing results are a lot better source for recommentation, you never know if the docs are filtering their results.

He seems to have dropped his prices further, going for 3600 euro for 1500 Grafts. Found this info on the French hair loss board. Interesting for all that don't want to go Turkey. Besides that you seem to get further discounts when cutting out the reps!

You will be in good hands at The Reys. I am in touch with some of his former patients now. He has a good team and is an expert in producing high quality results using very little grafts. The other good thing about him is that he gives huge discounts! It also seems that due to the high demand he has his wife do some of the extractions now. I find this a good development since it will only improve overall quality and less fatigue.

Thanks for all the Answers. From what I understand FUT is still a good solution and in the hands of a top surgeon it will never give problems. FUE looks more labor intensive and this might explain why some surgeons are 'outsourcing' tasks to their technicians.

Do you have an update please. Also, if you don't mind sharing what you paid for the treatment. The reason I am asking is because it seems that De Reys gives huge discounts if you ask for ! He has a french patient that wrote he got a 15 %discount when booking without the middlemen. Hope you got a good result!

Well, to be honest I was looking for reactions from guys that have had both FUE and FUT done. They are the only ones that can truly describe the feeling during and after a hair transplant.

To be short, I decided to have FUE after being informed that it was my best option. I would like to know how bad is FUT compared to FUE? Dr. De Reys new website states that FUT is 'barbaric'! Comments from those who had both procedures would be welcome.

I am now about 3 months after my treatment. First signs for growth are appearing now! Redness gone, ready for more hair!

Hi! The crown was grafted with 1406 follicle units at a density of 30 grafts per cm square The frontal area was grafted with 1647 follicle units at a density of 40 towards 25 grafts per cm square FUE is sooo easy, I would recommend it to all seeking a hair transplantation.

My parents tought me: Never go with the cheapest option Don't go for the most expensive option This is the reason I headed for Prohairclinic, along with their longterm experience and consistent FUE results.

Update : week 3 Hi Guys, I must say I could not expect this FUE procedure to be sooo easy. No pain, virtually no swelling. The Prohairclinic after kit also contains their Hydro One cream and it took away most of the redness by now. So far i grade Prohairclinic A+ Very clear about who where what why before the treatment Very smooth procedure, excactly how it was presented Very good after care service and products I can not wait for the final result.

How sad to see a bad result from a Top doc. I know that at Dr. Feriduni the technicians are doing virutally all of the work and produce good results time and time again. Maybe there is a newbie technician that helped out during your procedure? I hope all goes well and things will be resolved.

Prohairclinic price information is clearly indicated on their website and I paid them accordingly. The pictures show my hair situation before starting the treatment.

About 2 years ago I started out researching hair transplant surgeons and techniques. FUT is not an option since I may wear my hair shorter at certain times during the year. FUE is the best option for me and from what read of this and several other international forums Belgium is the hotspot for top quality FUE hair transplantation. They have produced consistent results, had the best live patient results (although others where nearly as good) and had the best price quality model. I took the plunge and the team of Prohairclinic (dr. De Reys was present) performed a 2 day session, covering the crown and frontal hairline. I can truly say that the treatment was very smooth, no pain at all. All I can say to others looking for top quality FUE : Belgium is a place where you will find the best in the world, including Prohairclinic.
